I just came back from this park a few days ago, and I agree that Tatsu is the best ride in the park. I rode it twice. And I gotta say, for your POV, you picked such beautiful BGM for it. That's exactly how I felt ridding it. Zen calm and tranquil. (until that pretzel loop completely destroyed me when I rode in the front, but worth it XD)
Haha the pretzel loop gets ya every time! Thanks for the comment hope you enjoyed the video and stay tuned for more as I have a new park review dropping every other Friday! 24+ new parks this year!
Thank you for doing this video. We are going to Six flags in may of this year(2024) with my son. It will be his first time riding a roller coaster. I was concerned about riding because Im 6ft about 305 with a 44 inch waist.
Hi there, thanks for watching! We will be doing reviews at tons of parks like this across America! I am about 6’4” and just around 300lb as well. I wear a size 50-54 waist usually so I think I may be a bit stockier than you but also a bit taller. Rides you may have trouble with are: twisted colossus, Batman (I encourage to try and wait for 2nd train it has longer seat belts), apocalypse & Superman. Those ones I did fit on but was very tight. There wasn’t any rides that I didn’t fit on this trip, but a few where I’d say I was the maximum size able to get in. I’d say other than these couple mentioned you should be just fine 👍🏻 Have fun and happy riding! 🎢
My boyfriend is a little short (5'4'',) but is around the 330lb mark, and I wanted to make sure he wouldn't have to sit out on all the rides and feel left out, so thank you for these videos! They've really helped me to plan out which rides to focus on and which ones to avoid. The absolute last thing I want for him (and really anyone) is to have to do the walk of shame. I'm super stoked that tatsu might be on the table for him- I had not expected that!
Absolutely! As a big man, I totally understand! That’s why we started this channel! Hope to bring you guys more parks in the future and I hope you guys have a wonderful visit! There are certainly a few rides that he may be tight on or not fit but they certainly have some that he will be able to fit on! Happy riding! 🎢
My rankings of every coaster here (there's no bad coasters here which is odd for a park with over 20 coasters) 1 Twisted Colossus 2 X2 3 Tatsu 4 Wonder Woman FOC 5 West Coast Racers 6 Batman The Ride 7 Viper 8 Riddler's Revenge 9 Full Throttle 10 Ninja 11 Apocalypse 12 Scream 13 Goliath 14 Superman: Escape From Krypton 15 Revolution 16 Gold Rusher
Hi there! Nope, this was a regular Saturday/Sunday trip we did in early February of 2024! No fast pass or anything like that! Best time to visit magic mountain is In Jan or Feb, the lines are always the shortest!
since you are a bigger guy... when you rode on X2 it would have been smoother if you were in the seat closer to the track. I am tall also and I need to lift up my legs on the last raven turn to avoid having my legs bang against the seat from the train shaking so much.
I tried both inside and outside seats, my experience was about the same on both, I didn’t feel or notice too much of a difference personally, however I really wanted the outside seat for recording my POV to offer a little better view!
It was down earlier in the day when we first passed by the area it sits in, however we returned once it opened and you can find that ride at 21:55 in this video! Thanks for watching ! 🎢
As a fellow coaster enthusiast and big guy, I have some questions. I have been to sfmm and have been able to get on most of the rides except Batman, Twisted Colossus, Superman, and Riddlers Revenge. I wear a 44-46 size pants 300 lbs 6 foot. I saw from your povs you were able to ride. Any tips and tricks for me for next time I go? Also how were you able to record? Every single time I go they never allow go pros.
Hi there, all great questions. On a really good day I can squeeze into a 48 size pants. So I think you may have a smaller waist than I, however I am an ex football player so a lot of my size is in muscle and I have a relatively slim figure for someone of my weight (I am also 6’4”). Tip 1 - ride the 2nd train if possible on Batman it has longer seat belts. Tip 2 - bring a friend who is willing to help push you in! My amazing GF always helps me get in when it’s close. Hope this helps! Happy riding 🎢
@@Bigguyrides ok thanks also congrats on getting close to 1k subs just from four videos. We have been uploading every week for over a year and still haven't hit it. Keep up the good work. I will also let you know if it fit next time I go to sfmm.
@@atozthrillsthank you so much I just launched this page a couple months ago and the response from people has been ASTOUNDING I can’t thank the coaster community enough for the views comments and likes I will continue to try and provide real life information about rides size fit and POVs for everyone to love!
Totally understand! Rides at this park that are really tight are: twisted colossus, Batman (train 1), and apocalypse. Other than that the rides are fairly forgiving. My stats are as follows: Shirt size 2xl-3xl Waist: 48.5 Chest: 49 Stomach: 52 Sleeve: 29 Height: 6’4”
@@Bigguyrides thanks for the response also do you think I’ll be able to fit on all rides I wear a 2xl in shirts but it fits kinda oversized and I’m a 40 waist in pants also I’m 5’8

@@Bigguyrides I got on a couple rides such as x2,tatsu,twisted colossus, Wonder Woman, scream ,Goliath but it’s not that I didn’t fit on the other rides I just didn’t get a chance to go on them but I was able to get on all those rides comfortably and with space to spare
Hi there! thanks for asking. Yes, i played many years of college football and have a large back side/rear end as well as wide hips. Mens pants size usually 52-54 waist and 32-34 long. Hope the channel helps! thank you for watching.
So I have my gradnite at six flags this month and I’m scared I won’t fit on some rides, but I don’t want to miss gradnite. I’m 5’3 around 250. Do you think I would fit in most rides?
Yes! Actually I think you’ll be ok on most of them. I would avoid some of the smaller kids coasters, I recommend waiting for the 2nd train on Batman or asking which one has longer seatbelts (one train has more room than the other), and you might have a tight fit on twisted colossus, and apocalypse, but I think you’ll fit!
@@StepxxhanieI am quite a bit larger than both of you here and I fit on everything except speedy Gonzales kids coaster just fyi! I think you’ll be fine!
We were there right at opening on a Sunday in February…. We had walk ons for most of the rides in the morning until about 2p when the crowds hit. Best time to visit MM is in Jan or feb on a Sunday.
Would an extra train & block section near the station of Twisted Colossus fix the dueling issue? Unload riders at the first block, while simultaneously loading riders in the train ahead of it. Wouldn't that ensure the blue side is gtg when the green side rolls in?
IF there was room for a first block, you could unload riders on that platform while also loading riders into train ahead of it, but the track is continuous loop, so this would actually require 3 trains like you mentioned which I do not believe can run on a continuous circuit (Like west coast racers for example.. safety issue having more than 2 trains on same circuit) Being honest, the ride ops can control how fast the green side lift hill goes, so they should be able to make them duel, however really slow loading people generally kill the vibe.
Six Flags Magic Mountain, one of my long time home parks. Can't wait to get back up there.
