@@Da_knee7 absolutely it’s a hidden gem in California. Thanks for watching!
Live in the waterloo area and have been there. Hope more people start going so it can grow. it has potential and that family has the money to throw into it if it makes sense.
@@joshtaylor4777 thanks for watching! I agree I hope more people go, they are putting in an RMC raptor next year which should really help
I live in Oklahoma City and have been here my entire life. In the 90's going to Frontier City was the best. In the center main building i loved playing the arcade cabinets. Also their Halloween fest was always really cool and staff would dress up as movie monsters and walk around
@@creekandseminole that’s awesome you have some great memories at the park, thanks for watching!! :)
You was very serious about the rating of the rides
@@LIL_T139 absolutely! Every ride deserves a rating in my opinion, especially cuz families and parents always ask about the smaller rides and kids rides, they all mean the same! Gotta be accurate and complete in my assessments
Wow! I think is my favorite Big Guy Rides video so far. I just watched it twice in a row 😀. I’m not a huge coaster fan or California fan BUT I have to say I want to visit this park! You’re right- the scenery is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing!😎 I’d go as a family and let the “riders” go ride and I would be in heaven to tour the gorgeous gardens and park walks! However, I do think I might have to try the Banana Boat ride! 🤗 Great job! 🎢🌲🎠

@@sneedo what did you think of this little family park in Cali? I actually really enjoyed my time here even though the rides are mostly for kids. It’s a super neat park different than most
@@Bigguyrides This is the first smaller park that you've visited without coasters or big coasters that I've actually thought was a really great showcase. You do such a great job.

Adventure City looks the same to me as it did when I went as a kid in the early 2000s, except for the removal of Tree Top Racers. Other than that, literally every inch of that place has remained unchanged and kept in great shape!
@@AaronAlterman that’s awesome to hear I had no idea it was even that old! Great little spot especially for families who can’t afford Disney or the other bigger parks
@ oh yeah it’s been around since the early 90s! Great spot for sure
When I was a kid, there was a rumor that on Dracula's Castle, random ride carts would be taken up to a second floor to go on a secret ride. That's silly, but as a kid, you wondered.

Going today using your guide! probably gonna stick to xxl wish me luck!
@@Copodile that’s awesome have so much fun!
A lot of us locals here in Utah have been fighting to try and get the animals released from the animal exhibit due to the conditions they are kept in. Also, I'm glad while you were here you got to enjoy one of our many little secrets.
Oh look another person who thinks they can film on rides in a park that prohibits loose items on rides this includes cameras. I was a ride operator for Patriot and I specifically asked about cameras and I was told they were prohibited. It’s also on the Park Website which also states they are prohibited. You seriously put people at risk if that camera came loose. I guess this is another video that needs to get reported to Rides management.
@@_Xiagax_ hi there, thanks for the comment, it’s useless and uneducated. All videos are made in conjunction with the park staff, accommodating all rules, including those of said “cameras” - luckily there are smart devices made in 2024 that are safely and securely strapped to one’s body and not only meet but exceed safety standards. Your terrible attitude puts more people at risk than this video ever did. 🤡
You should go to Silver Dollar City!

@@themeparksofamerica thanks for watching and the continued support! It’s a really nice beach park! If your ever in NorCal I’d recommend it
I love, love this park! Especially there events like the Carnavale 4th of July BBQ, and Especially Winterfest with over a million lights and the fountain turned into an Ice skating rink. I was also kicked off Delerium, being about 200 pounds. All other rides pleanty of room and incredible Especially going during the dark. Railblazer is my favorite! I highly recommend this park. Enjoy it while its still around. Great review!
@@Fam-G-Thrills oh wow thanks for the comment that’s pretty crazy at 200 lbs to not be able to fit on a ride. Delirium clearly needs new restraint system or they should just take it out!

@@jesser007 thanks for watching! I’d definitely recommend a quick visit to this park if your local!
So, you mention in this video that it is/was your de facto home park. My girlfriend and I are flying out to Los Angeles primarily to check this out in a week and a 1/2 or so. Any tips about this during December? I'm guessing there are still going to be large crowds , we're thinking about investing in the fast pass.
@@sneedo you shouldn’t need a fast pass, actually middle of December is one of the best times to visit. Can’t miss attractions are ghost rider and xcelerator. (Also both get longest lines) .. knotts also has great food. I highly recommend stopping by main restaurant and getting the chicken dinner! Let me know how it goes!:)
@@Bigguyrides Just got back, it was amazing, the pricing on the chicken restaurant was a little steep but like you said Ghostrider was amazing, it was my girlfriend's favorite ride in the park and she usually HATES woodies!! We rode Hangtime the most, Hangtime and Monster at Adventureland are our favorites for sure probably only behind Time Traveler at Silver Dollar City.
@ sounds like a great visit!
@@Bigguyrides Yep, now we're back in KC getting ready to take a road trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Seaworld San Antonio.

My problem with the RMC raptors is the center trapezoidal floor pillar forces your feet so far apart, but the restraints force knees together so it ends up being a very uncomfortable position below the waist.
@@stephenrowan8128 I completely agree the flor on them is super awkward on the knees. Their new rmc wild moose trains looks to be the most comfortable they have designed thus far. Thanks for watching!
I’m originally from Nw Montana and I love the park. Now my home park is Kings Dominion which I love also. Thanks for the video makes me miss home.

At 5'9, 220lbs I had a really hard time with Grizzly. Both with the lap bar and the leg space. I'm about 10-15lbs heavier now and doubt I could make it. And I've never been able to get on Delirium. I fit but the lights say no.
@@sharktooths thank you for the reply this is a great comment! I often wonder if I’d even fit on grizzly at all, but I hope to get back there next year and try! It’s notorious for being a very small fit.
2:40 "The brakes hit you really hard" is an understatement if I've ever heard one 😂😂😂
@@0xGrvty slammmsss into you at the end 😂😂
Hoping to go to this park soon. We also got the all parks pass so we're thinking of flying into Los Angeles and taking the train up to this one after visiting Knotts.
@@sneedo nice which all parks pass did you get? Through six flags or cedar fair parks? I just renewed my gold pass at cedar point over Halloween and added all parks pass onto that , and canceled my six flags diamond pass since now I only need one to get into all of the parks. It actually saved me over $200/year now and gives access to more parks than ever!
@Bigguyrides worlds of fun gold all parks with meal and drink plans. You should sprinkle in applicable food reviews. 😉
@ you know I generally don’t eat at most parks just cuz it’s gotten so expensive but adding the food plan would make sense I’ll look into that!
@@Bigguyrides I wouldn't eat there without it, it's especially nice when they do the "Chef's Plates" Worlds of Fun Chef's plate was amazing for Octoberfest, I went back to back days just for that.
@@Bigguyrides Food reviews might be a good way to add more content like you're planning on doing in 2025.

Fun Fact: Snoopy's Cosmic Coaster used to be called the Wacky Worm! The train cars still kind of look like the old color of the worm, and the planet that the coaster flies through was originally a giant apple for the worm to eat through! It used to have this big cartoonish and kind of creepy worm face right on the front of the coaster.
@@HeyLetsDoAThing thanks for watching! Yeah this model is well known to be the wacky worm. It’s a similar model type that’s found a tons of parks around the world! The Apple is the usual prop that they have at almost all of the clones, and I know exactly what face you’re talking about 😂. The pumpkin, I like though!
I really wish this park would get one or two rides with great capacity the park really needs it and better operations I went back in May and for Medusa station wait took 30 minutes on two train service it was ridiculous how slow the crew were especially with waiting for my row of people to take off their coats after having locked the restraint one person of theirs wasn’t seated and waited for them this park has potential if they take out the boomerang and Kong and one or two stadiums
@@themeparklunatic1996 very good comment here thanks for watching! I was at this park on Monday this week actually, I flew in from Phoenix specifically to get on Kong and boomerang as both of those were closed on my last visit.. well, Kong was closed again. I talked to park management and guest services about it, they did give me flash pass for the inconvenience but on Monday, only 3-4 of their roller coasters were even open. Medusa is down for a repaint and so was Kong, so essentially that entire wing of the park was dead the entire day. The maintenance told me all day Kong would open, it never did. I was extremely disappointed in my most recent visit, my first one was much better.
24:07 WHATTTT you were able to ride this?! I waited 30 minutes to ride this and when I got to the front of the line the worker said I couldn't ride it because I was too old and it was only for children?! lol i was very sad xD
@@Joojoobeans when did you go?! I heard this year was the first year they allowed adults on alone. It’s actually a decent little coaster and totally worth the credit!

As a western Washington native I've been to Wild Waves a few times, I wish I had more experience with themes parks to really compare this one to
It is certainly one of the smaller parks and not run quite as well as others but it’s at least something! I live in AZ and all we have is castles N coasters 😂

Thanks for watching! I also live in Phoenix and get to go here often!
My advice to Lagoon: Get rid of the animals entirely, send them to a place that will treat them better, and put something in that isn't cruel.
I agree they should either try to re do the animal area so they have better treatment or rid of it all together and just replace with rides or something.
@Bigguyrides Makes no sense why they have it. Clearly people don't go to Lagoon to see animals when the Hogle Zoo is not far away. It's expensive, makes the owners look bad, and takes up precious room. I totally understand why many people boycott the place.
This is the six flags I go to 😂 my favorite ride in it is probably wonder woman or flash
Lucky you get to go often!
same here :3 my personal favs are wonder woman and joker bc every time i go there flash is broken down
The bug house was ruined when they redone it. The spinning walls used to have random bugs and larvae hand painted on the walls and blacklights to make them pop. I also remember accidentally throwing a kid hard in the sugar bowl when it was still in the original fun house. Felt bad for it, thought I actually hurt him. Voluntarily exited that ride and never got on it again
Worst ride ever : bug house
I can't wait for Universal Epic Universe
Same it should be a fantastic park and great addition to the already incredible universal line up
Being the only amusement park of it's kind in the entire state, prices are monopolized. I haven't been in years because it's just too expensive.
It’s def pricey. With that said it also is one of the best family run parks I’ve been too, so at least they re invest in the park! Thanks for watching
Thank you for visiting my local park
And thank you for watching!
It's grown a bunch
@@stardustgirl2904 they have over the years but recently they actually started taking some rides out and I hope they continue to invest in this property!
Great video Big Guy! Lagoon is awesome but the >$100 cost for a single day adult pass seems a bit much. As the only park in Utah they can get away with it. The season pass which costs only about 2x that is the way to go. Which of course is no help for out-of-state/infrequent visitors😒
Thanks for watching! I agree they price pretty high. Especially compared to a place like silverwood, who is a very similar size park and also run independently (they charge about $60 daily there). Lagoon is a great park but certainly over priced
Thanks for taking us on a ride with you on the 🤮 rides, no way I could go on a lot of these again.
Thanks for watching!
My favs, were Tilt a whirl, Teacups, Scrambler, Music Express, Old white roller coaster, Dracula's castle, Merry-Go-Round , Terror Ride, Swings, The Hammer and funhouse and a few others like the wet rides, like Rattlesnake rapids. Haven't been in several years, didn't realize they had so many new rides, heard of a few of these newer ones but not all. Haven't heard of the bat, spider?, Odessey? just reading through the comments, I know most of my favs are gone. ☹The Dutch are awesome ride designers.
Thanks for watching!
We know Hershey Park was once looking to acquire Silverwood, and what's not to say that Wild Waves would be the ideal choice for building a nice compact park. I think there's a lot of room here for a better themepark to be built here.
Also rumors that herschend ent who owns Dollywood and SDC have looked at purchase of silverwood as well. Really anyone other than premier I think could run it better. The pacific NW is in need of another better park! Thanks for watching
