Thank you for mentioning Readly again! I’ve been to a couple Barnes and Noble’s and Joann’s looking for a left over issue with the Autumn project. Now I have Readly , the pattern I was looking for, and many more! Love your videos- I’d love to sit on a hillside and stitch, while you do a stitch a long . Keep stitching girl- I look for your videos every week! PS: be sure to show progress on your lighthouse , I love that pattern you found. Have a great weekend!
“Merry Christmas” could represent a word light display on the roof. Perhaps the bonus designs could be stitched on ecru 14 ct paper and attached as a overlay on the final piece. Very cute SAL!
Love watching your video's with a cuppa tea. I'm fairly new to Cross stitching and it's so nice to see what other people are making :) unfortunately there are not a lot of hillside places to go where I live xx
That Christmas SAL looks like so much fun. Can't wait to see the Grinch! I just finished watching The Hillside Strangler on Netflix...what a strange person he was 😵💫.
With hunting season approaching, husbands will be perched in their tree stands. We should perch ourselves on a sunny hillside and stitch all morning! Can’t wait to see more progress on all your Christmas stitches!
I bought one of those lap stands it kept getting loose. They I purchased the Kay’s lap stand on Etsy it’s great! It holds my q snaps, hoops and scroll frames. It sits on my lap or on the table.
I love qsnaps too! If yours get loose over time, cut a strip of quilt batting to put under. I learned that helpful tip on another floss tube! How about instead of Merry Christmas. Do Christmas Fun! Or Memories?
The hillside reminds me of the sound of music movie. I have been working on three full coverage projects for the past eight years. I love them all but so much stitching involved.
Good morning. I feel like I’m climbing up a hillside of projects to work on. I really enjoy q snaps also. Enjoy your weekend. Hope you get a lot of stitching done.
You can sew a strip of fabric to the edges of your stitching fabric so you properly clamp your piece to a hoop or q snap. I love that you are a thrifty stitcher as I am too. I've binge watched your videos so I can catch up 😊 Hillside Stay safe Kelsey 💕
I’m so glad you introduced me to the Christmas SAL. I’m loving it. I would keep the stand and use it as a decoration piece. You could use the hoop as a fully finish and display seasonal pieces in it. I found scroll bar frames at my thrift store, thought I would love them but I hate them lol. I much prefer in hand. But I’m going to keep them and fully finish pieces in them and hang them on my wall.
Hi Kelsey, thanks for the tip reusing the plastic/vinyl. Also I wish I could use a hoop or q snap but my hands are so little that hurts holding one, specially the thumb, so I’m still looking for a stand frame or sit frame 😅, sorry but I don’t have any joke for hillside 😖but I need to write hillside and I love samplers
Enjoyed catching up with you today and seeing all your beautiful wips and great finds at the thrift store. I had to order the Christmas sal it looks adorable and I would stitch the doghouse and the Christmas tree separate and then attach them to the stitching piece give it a 3d look. I would love a cabin on the hillside. Have a wonderful evening and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I love my Q-Snaps, I have found the HL brand is not as tight as Q-snap, I also use strips of felt under the clips to help and it makes it easier to get them out. I love that SAL I may have to join at some point.
My kids love to ride their bikes down the hillside our house is on. I send them to do that while I watch Flosstube and hope they don’t come in crying. 👀
I meant to say when your pattern says 80x80 that will be measured in centimeters. When I first started I did a shout out for help because my pattern was 156x156 and it would take up a whole wall and Lisa with crossedbyflossed told me it is centimeters, boy was that a relief. 😂
You could do a Flat ornament for the "freebies" then attach them to the house wherever you want!! Hillside...We knew we wanted to adopt children (and did!!) but we started as Foster Parents though Hillside Children's Home. Very needy children! We later switched to our local county department of Social Services, and now have 3 daughters and Many grandchildren!!! Dose your holder open up far enough to hold the Q Snap? I enjoy listening to you -- Thank you for sticking with it.
Sarah’s Stitchy Spot shouted you out so I came over to take a look. I love your whole thrifty vibe!! You should check out minimalisminthemaking, I think you’d love her channel as she is very into using what you have and finding free patterns. Oh, I am pretty close to you, I’m in Lansing!
Hi Kelsey, I saw al your video's but this is the first time I react. I'm from the Netherlands, so not a native English speaker. I also loved full coverage and had bought a "small" pattern from HAED (185x129), QS Tranquil Tulip. I still like the pattern but after 2200 stitches (14%) I threw it away. I hated the confetti. And when I see what you like to embroider now I can recommend you to try a small full coverage, and then maybe also in half stitches at with 2 threads over 25/28ct (this is considerably faster to stitch). Succes with your video's and i will be watching you again.
If you have small borders and want to use a Q snap, sew a scrap of fabric to the sides. If you would like those supplies that I have, send me your address.
Great idea!! And I am always willing to take whatever people will give me. If I can’t use them I will pass them along. If you send me an email then I will send you my address. Safety first!
You can sew some fabric all around you cross stitch fabric to make it larger to fit the hoop. I do it all the time. Is the stitch along a one time fee? Or is it a weekly charge?
I think it's was you that talk about Libby to look at cross stitch magazine. Since I already have Libby I look but they have sooo much magazine I don't know where to start 😅 do you have recommendations of magazine (not the issue per say but just magazine name)? ☺️
I like to sit on the hillside, and view the autumn leaves

I live across from a small hillside where we have deer that graze in the grass. I like to sit by the window and watch them while I stitch😊
That sounds heavenly!🥰
A sampler is something I’d love to try and I don’t think I’d fall down the hillside while trying it! Love your videos
The hillside is a great place to go sledding in winter, well at least where I live. Your stitch along looks interesting. I, too, like Qsnaps.
You’re making such beautiful cross stitch pieces! Plus the ffo’s are done so good! Keep up the great work and can’t wait to see more!
Aww thank you Pat!!
Great stitchalong. Wow, what a find in the frame. I have one I bought from Amazon. I don't use it like I thought I would.

Oh nooo. I kept telling myself not to do a stitch along this year but the one you show is really cute
WOW that was a great find.
Have a fun time with your SAL. I never stick to them. 😞

True crime and stitching- a girl after my own ❤️!!

Just found you. Good video. I am sitting on the hillside admiring the views.
Thanks for the link for Pinker & Punkin! I got it printed, took me a few minutes to figure out!
Super fun video, Hillside.

Look at heaven and earth designs for a full coverage. 😉 😊

I use strips of shelf paper...the bumpy kind.
I love your Christmas stitch along! Can't wait to see more
It will be interesting to see what sentences will include hillside.
Your stitch along looks amazing so far. I live on a hillside near the little smokies

Thank you for sharing this!🥰 and I should see if my q snap fits!
I am stitching the Sunnyside Sampler by The Drawn Thread but it feel[s like it should it should have the Hillside in its title as well.
I have not done much Christmas stitching, maybe I should start this year, I did pick up a fabulous Santa mug last year, HILLSIDE.
My stand opens up enough to use q snaps too!! Try it
Ow I will!!
