I think your blended dmc’s look great!! And I have considered making pillow “sleeves” to be able to switch out little pillow decors for the seasons and require less storage space. And while I consider that, I keep just adding to my box of unfinished finishes. 😢😂
I don’t know if this will help, but if you’re hand stitching the binding down after machine sewing it on, you only need to take bites of the quilt top fabric and the binding, not the whole quilt. That should makes it a lot easier on your fingers.
Love all your beautiful 🤩 ffo’s and great progress on your wips. Wow 🤩 great haul you hit the jackpot 🎰 Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
The removable pillow cover is actually genious especially for that pattern. Then you could stitch the others in the series and switch them out while using the same pillow base! I love seeing all your garage/estate/ thrift store finds!
A lot of Aida cloth has sizing in it. You need to wash in cold water first to get the sizing out and then do your dyeing . Love your finishes. The binding does get easier. Check out flanged binding.
Awesome patriotic pillows and love your flag quilt runner. Your stitching is beautiful. Great haul at the estate sale. I always love your videos. Happy stitching!
Love your pillow cover idea! It is unique and way more interesting than a plain pillow. I'm going to use that idea! Love your color blending, I think it's perfect. New to your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Hi! I live very close to you, in Buchanan- I love watching your videos- love seeing your thrifty finds, and your beautiful projects. As soon as I realized how close we were, I was excited to possibly meet you - I’d love to pass some patterns on to you-
I was hoping there was someone close by who loved cross stitch and knew Flosstube!! That is so cool! I’d love to meet you someday and pick your brain! Thanks for reaching out!!
You are so funny! I giggled several times. So enjoyable! I also do the two tread combo, thought that I was being so smart. Haha! I do enjoy binding by hand and your table runner is GORGEOUS! Last thing, so happy that you got your strawberries. Funny how you worry for others. Great video! Love that you show your piece and the picture of the pattern so I can screenshot it and put it on my list.
Just starting watching your video and immediately impressed and appreciative of your tips about blending threads. I’m taking notes. I think the flowers that you did are stunning. Thank you for sharing.
Love your finish of Hen Pecked. I did mine on navy blue Aida with Pricilla’s colors (from her blog). I have a big collection of the stacked animals and have been trying to figure out a way to stitch them like a banner. I love all of them!
I hate binding!! Its the one part I don't look forward to. If you do it by hand I like to use the binding needles by Primitive Gatherings. I found the best machine binding tutorial by Sew along with Jan and that's what I do now.
Love pinkernpunkin! I have a couple of her salt box houses stitched up.

Thank you!!

That's a great idea! I was doubting my thought process there lok
Love your patriotic pillow finishes! I’m inspired to pull my patriotic stitching back out tonight
Well you inspired me! You should totally do it!
Hen peck is adorable and so is the bow.

Oh wow! I’m so glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
If you watch Stitching with the Housewives, Chelsea and Priscilla, they have a video on the entire coffee/tea dying process.
Ow Ok! Lots of people have told me I have to wash out the sizing first. I bet that video talks about that!

Oh, that is an adorable idea!! I’m gonna have to go look up Priscilla‘s blog because I want to see this color conversion so badly!!
