Another great video. Btw, is that big oled screen abit too close for your eyes?
Perfect distance from where I sit
@@theqazman Which size did you get? 48"? What's your distance? I stopped by Costco today and stood in front of the 55" at the same price and that was also fine to be close to. About 2-3 ft.
Waqas Qazi what is the oled model you have here? And also how do you get those scopes on the left? Is that a seperate app?
What Oled is this your using????
Does the LG have usb-c connection? I’m looking into this (per your suggestion) because I’m currently working off a MacBook Pro. And as you know it’s got USB-C ports
Is it safe for your eyes to edit and color grade on OLED TV’s ? I always thought we should only buy and work on IPS monitors..
My monitor is a BenQ a sw270c.. and it's calibrated with pallete master and x-rite in a total RGB Space. Can u recommend the best settings for calibrating for color correction?? For the moment is my only monitor!! Thanks!!!
Qazi, how exactly do you turn off ABL on the LG monitor?
Hello, You are the best mate. What your opinion for viewsonic vp2785 2k for color grade is better than benq sw270c 2k? Keep going the good work..
I need to purchase this
Does disabling the ABL work on the CX series? Some people say that when they turn off the tv it resets and they need to disable it again. Is this something you have experienced? cheers great video
It does.
Hi don..
How u get the image or double image u working on,, on the two screens (scope +image) + (wheels+node+image)...
Cannot do it..
Can have only: gallery, lut, mediapool, keyframes and scopes...
Please...
I am using Scopebox for the screen on the left. iPad is connected wirelessly through sidecar feature in the newest OS.
@@theqazman thx to share and be so generous.. God bless
Awesome topic! Just curious about a few things: which LG-model (plus size) are you using exactly? And is this the monitor you will 'look at' the most? Finally: how did you mount your OLED?
Thank you. Yes the LG is what I use to grade it was mounted by my uncle I can ask him and let you know.
@@theqazman Great! And this is the LG 55" C9, correct? I'm really struggling whether to get a desktop monitor (like the BenQ PV3200PT) or an OLED screen...
Qazi please tell me how did you turned off the ABL that's the only thing I need to use this TV as a calibration monitor.
It's in my Masterclass. Sign up. 😀
So the big LG is your grading monitor right? Is it fed with SDI from a video card like a decklink? Cheers
HDMI
YESS! did you disable the abl before professional calibration on the oled? any recs for professional calibration? Thank you
I had to turn off before calibration
Thanks for this video! I couldn't find the list of monitors recommended by Netflix you mentioned on 1:34. Can you share the link. Thanks again!
:D Hello 𝓦𝓪𝓺𝓪𝓼. One doubt I have: is all your hardware sync / controlled by the Mac?
( Is the Mac in charge of all tasks or do you include other appliances)
Hey Qazi did you color calibrate your LG oled too?
Yes
