Totally safe. I also confirmed this with Apple directly. Granted, you may lose some of the life of the battery over time, but it’s hardly noticeable and I am rarely working off of battery.
I just re-read your comment and I better understood what you meant. I think you were referring to the actual paint color of my wall. It’s actually a neutral grey but the fan lights I had turned on made it much warmer.

It gets a clean feed from the ultra studio monitor via SDI.

BTW what about your creamy colored background wall? Does it interfere with your color perception when grading? What bias lighting do you use?
It absolutely does. So I don’t color with them on. I use media lights biaslighting for grading though.
