    For all of those starting your acne treatment journey just know that skin purging is real when you start using some of these products if you have not used them before.
    But stick to your routine and it should get better. Mine definitely got worse but I started seeing noticeable improvements in between the 4 to 6 week markers.
    Hang in there! You got this!

    Thank you for the info, and for not using AI to read your script like everyone else does these days. Very helpful. I have what I’m now guessing is a nodule on my left temple. There was never any white, but it’s been red, swollen, painful, and hideous. The swelling has gone down probably 50% and it’s not painful anymore, but it’s still hanging around; lasting a week so far. Does benzoyl peroxide help with those, or is that only for surface ones?

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SkinZoneTV I forgot to mention that it feels very solid, is that normal? My wife made me buy some CeraVe facial cleanser because my skin is on the oily side. Ironically after using that for a few days, this thing appeared.

    • @SkinZoneTV
      @SkinZoneTV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes just try and avoid picking at it. I am guessing you didn't really do much in your skincare routine prior to getting the cleanser? It is totally normal to go through a skin purging phase when introducing skincare into your routine, but it should only last a few weeks@@LastSifu

      @@SkinZoneTVThank you - yes, I did not have a routine to speak of before. lol I never had acne problems growing up, just the random ones here and there. This one seems different though, so I was concerned, but it appears to be gradually improving. I’ll continue to use the cleanser and see if it helps with the oily areas on my forehead and nose. The one plus side to that is, almost 50 and no wrinkles. Thanks again for the advice!

    Hi. This video helps me to know how to treat my acne. But will this help to cure small scars?
    Also. It will be my first time to do this routine but wanted to know if I can follow the morning routine and night routine each day? Just got confused since on the video it says morning 4-5 times / week for salicylic acid then 2-3 times for niacinamid. Would that mean I should use pure salicylic acid in 1 week then next week will be the niacinamide? Or is this applicable on the same day foor morning and night routine?
    Hope you reply 😢

    I went to a dermatologist last month for my acne. Her prescription included lymecycline for 2 weeks, then for skincare routine AM: salicylic acid gel cleanser, benzac microbiome for moisturizer, then spf (the one I’m using now is a UV gel water-based sunscreen spf30) PM: same cleanser then same moisturizer, and adapalene 0.3% + benzoyl peroxide 2.5% (epiduo forte), then same moisturizer again. I’m on my 5th week and there are still new pimples growing, I’m not good at identifying the bumps but there are bumps with white top, bumps that are only red, painful and hot to touch bumps with many little bumps around it, and I can see blackheads in my nose bridge. Srsly I don’t know what to do anymore
