/ richdemuro I do a tech report for a bunch of TV stations based out of Los Angeles. I was on the air in San Digeo doing a live shot when the Westwood earthquake happened.
A magnitude 4.4 earthquake that struck near Westwood provided an early morning jolt for Greater Los Angeles, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The quake struck at 6:25 a.m. at a depth of 5.3 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was centered near the intersection of Mulholland Drive and the 405 Freeway. A shallow magnitude 2.7 earthquake followed up at 7:23 a.m. four miles from Westwood, according to the USGS. That's exactly what terrifies me when I feel an earthquake. I have a good amount of experience with earthquakes because I live in Puerto Rico. The latest earthquake i felt was 6.4.
I hope everyone in L.A.is ok,I watched it on the news in live t.v.wow,we didnt feel nothing over here your nieghbors east of cali in las vegas,we can usually feel a quake here in nevada when it shakes in my hometown state of california,cause we are so close to eachother.my prayers go out to all of you over there in the city of angeles.stay safe and dont stand near any buildings if it shakes again,and dont panic,stay kool calm and collective always.god bless you my fellow californians...
and while you're running for the door, something could have greater chance of falling on top of you, or the floor collapsing out from under you, or windows shattering and impaling your face with glass. At least being under the desk, you'll have something covering you

Ive never experienced a quake b4 but I could imagine the fear n suspense of not knowing just how strong its gonna be when it starts
