hello my palace family! I am attempting to add some structure to these vlogs and make them more into an ongoing story, so here it is, the first episode in a new series: the life of an artist in Paris :) Lately I've been showing my journey to becoming a full time Artist and trying out curating, experimenting with new mediums, so I thought I would make it into an ongoing journey I document. Expect studio vlogs, struggles on being a young creative in a foreign country (Paris, france in this case) and lots of wholesome chats about visualising, spirituality and more in my little Paris apartment. hello my palace family! why not make a memoir now if you have enough stories, then as you get older release continuations like a novel series? I bet that would be really cool :)
hey hey, weird question: but important topic. I was wondering, what are you using to paint over your sculptures? is it resin? because I heard that you should be very cautious about resin and epoxy. I heard of a guy who got an allergy for life, if he was in a room where resin has been used, because he got it on his skin once. I would only use it if you have a very professional setup, with all the recommended protective gear. Because of the toxic gas it can produce which you can't smell. Also our former professor of mine at arts school had serious health issues because of it... and if it isn't resin than you use than good! Just thought I spread the word- since not many people seem to know about it! aaaaand btw I really love the throne u are working on!
I stopped making art when I went to college to have a “realistic” job. You and your channel are helping me to find that authentic unabashed creativity in myself again. Ty you for being so honest 💫

I stopped making art after college…the graphic design program I went through completely paralyzed the artist in me. These videos are helping me open up an authentic creative artist from inside that I haven’t seen since I was a child. Thank you both!! 🙏❤️

something about the energy of this past week has been so draining, it's comforting to see some other people feel it too. trying to give myself space and time but it's been hard because I feel like I'm not doing enough in work/school or even just in my own creative endeavors :( guilt is so HEAVY for our little bodies to bear

When I was a budding first year art student I went to a college open day wearing fishnets *exactly* like this, even down to the thumb holes! Mine were electric blue. That day I met a girl who I went on study art alongside for 4 years, and ended up marrying her brother. We've been together 18 years this month. Where the time went, I don't know. Time flies when you're making art and having fun I guess... 💙
The idea that how you live each day defines how you live your life is so beautiful… I think it’s easy to forget and become fixated on distant goals and conditions of happiness, but I am going to try and realise the joy in the little things too 😄 our visions are coming true ;)

Working freelance definitely has that hustle culture tied in, where it's all GO GO GO. But there's no use in doing something you 'love' doing or working towards your goals if you're burnt out and ending up hating your work.
