Oh sorry I remembered something else I saw when you were speaking. ( I'm a seer ) I saw how before we cone to know Jesus how were out there in a really tough desert. Like a no man's land. We don't understand ot at the time but we feel lost. Like were in a place all alone and it's scary. I'm not talking about France but in general. I was also relating this to my life as the Holy Spirit was giving me understanding. As I was watching you he was explaining this to me about my past. I could see my life through what you were sharing.
I saw that it's such a horrible feeling to look back and remember how we felt during these times of aloneness. Especially particularly traumatic times and how we are home now in our rightful place, safe and sound in our heavenly dwelling albeit walking still this side of heaven. We are now at home in daddy's house/ arms. Secure and never again to have to go back there.
Sometimes people wonder why we look back. But sometimes we need to in order to move forward. And again each time we reposition ourself in the now we realise " wow God is so good. I'm so blessed to be known by him and live in his kingdom"
Nothing from our past present or future is wasted now. God has it all cupped in his hands working all things for good. Wow were so blessed to belong.
    Amen

if you really want to be closer and more spiritual to God...then first of all stop refering to God as "He or His"...God has no gender...God is beyound such a lowly thing as a male or female gender.

Hi, Lilly. I have a similar experience with you. I moved to Canada when I was 16 to study English. I wanted to see the world and learn English. I had very nice host family, but I could not communicate well with them. I had severe anxiety and severe depression. Its 25 years ago, now I travel the world and live in Chicago. I enjoy watch your videos; you have a beautiful family. YUko

Wow, Lilly, I'm halfway through this video and you want to know something crazy?! I also flew out on September 10, 2001 for an exchange program (but in South America). And I actually saw the twin towers from my plane on the runway in Newark and remembered thinking I hadn't known you could see them from there! I arrived late and the first thing that happened when I woke up was my host mother telling me about buildings exploding. It was crazy! Even weirder, is like you, I originated in one of the airports where the hijackers were said to have flown from on September 11-Portland, ME. I also told someone this story very recently (hadn't told it to anyone in years). What a crazy coincidence! God bless you!

French people are very blunt and brutally honest. I would have been fighting with everybody the whole time if I was there. I studied abroad in Denmark and they are the nicest people I’ve ever met and it was the place I’ve felt most comfortable out of everywhere I’ve traveled.

I remember as a teen I felt lost too. I didn't know what to do or how to handle things. I must say, someone was watching over me, because I got out of a lot of trauma. I love be older and wiser, happier and safe and have been for many years now. I too drank for a few years when I was younger. I don't drink any more and haven't since I was 21. Bless you for sharing all this. I know you have found better times too and it's quite wonderful coming through hard times and finding good times.

Ty for sharing. Be kind to yourself, we ALL are such knuckleheads in our teenage years. Our 20’s are just as bad with immaturity. Very relatable. The good thing is you had those moments where you fell and had lessons that saved you. It takes a while for some of us. I’d say most of us aren’t mature enough in life until our mid 30’s and older. I know for me my teens and20’s were messy, my 30’s was a time of lessons and reflections until about 38 is when I truly felt like a new, solid woman. And still I’m still learning and shaping myself thru faith and wisdom and self reflection, it’s a life long process. It’s not all trauma I’d say, it’s just life. And I’m pretty much of your moms mindset to learn, and move on. I truly believe in letting go of the past, closing those chapters in our lives and seeing them as lessons that you HAD to go through in your journey, But never dwelling on them. Luv u sistah

it seems to me you are forever complaining. Yet you live like a princess, travelling to Europe, staying in France and Italy in expensive hotels with your family; you are very spoilt and immature. You are lucky to have such a kind husband and a baby sitter who is devoted to you and takes care of your children while you are travelling. And to have parents who indulge you in everything you want. Stop complaining when there are so many people who can't make both ends meet and have barely enough money to buy food, let alone travelling all the time as you do.

Your testimony means a lot to people who you would never think it would touch. My mother was an alcoholic and my father was a severe drinker when he was off the road. They use to tell me when I was in school I thought I was better then everyone else because I wouldn't drink and it was before I was legally allowed. To this day if I am offered alcoholic beverages I generally say no, it's not like I ever had a problem with it but saw what it did to others.

I hope you can continue with street ministry even though you are in Bangkok. Or maybe you should pray about how long you are going to be there. You have a great testimony of coming out of the occult and could really shine a light into the darkness by telling that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and the only way to get to God. God bless you dear.

    Hey Lily
Firstly I wanna say that my heart was moved with love and compassion for that inner pain you went through. I literally feel Jesus compassion sometimes when people talk about events in their lives. It feels like my heart is bleeding inside. I wanted to reach out and touch your heart with his healing balm.
Its great getting to hear and see your heart.
But the other thing I want to tell you is what happened the third time you came on and were praying in the Spirit. When you opened your eyes and began talking I could barely look in your eyes as you looked back at the camera. It was like the power of the Holy Spirit was strong it was too bright to look in your eyes. I realised the glory of the Lord was shining through your eyes. It was too dazzling and bright to stay focused. I had to keep from focusing. The only way I can explain or compare it was I was seeing in the spirit the glory of God. It was like staring straight into a light. It's impossible to do so for long cos it actually hurts the iris.
I believe I was seeing the light of God in the spirit realm. Shining out through your eyes.
    So amazing hey ?

I think the tough times in our lives make us more empathetic to others around us. When we walk a mile in those shoes, we can relate to and help others. I have learned that I need to make amends for my past sins to others and to myself by living one day at a time.
A living amends is what my Christian faith calls for. I must forgive myself if I ask God to forgive me. Or else, I would not be accepting God's gift of Jesus and forgiveness 🙏.
    I hope that makes sense.
Every time I encounter a new trial, I look back at my past to remember how God got me
through it. It shows me that God will get me through whatever storm I am in.
I journal through difficult times and have always ended by writing a prayer regarding each entry. I go back months later and have found that every single prayer has been answered!
Talk about faith building.....that does it!!!

Lilly you bless me so much. I spent 33 years drinking my life away. Now I sit and obey...God every day. I choose not to be placed in my cave..acting like a slave... for how I disobeyed. Instead I show people my knoss... and pull up on it.. to get lose. I tell every body about my news. That God sees who abused the rules. I was one of those people who never cared if I was evil... until I'm sitting back now being feabal. You can NEVER BE BELIEVABLE....IF YOU DON'T SEES WHO'S ACHIEVABLE. I believe in your seeds... that bent you to your knee's... and that's why I am at ease... when I hear your story. It's God who gets all the glory.

Your past personal Life was clearly an unblanced lost existance... mostly due to your father but also because of your mother. Your mother is a lovely charming lady that is so easy to like, and we've heard how difficult her times of working to survive were...but her input in parental guidance and bonding was not sufficient or minimal and that contributed to you living as a wild flower with your various addictions. Its no wonder you became a strict religious person. People who live a lost Life often tend to fall into 1 religious faction or another thats somewhat extreme in their beliefs, and very systematic in their practices... 1 excessive habit lifestyle gets taken over by another... even if the religious one is a clean of substance path and a character uplifting existance, its still an over powering controlling lifestyle that pushes for its personal organised systematic way. Clearly, your faith has helped you survive and supported you as you stepped away from the dustructive life you had before... hopefuly you will one day truely find yourself and be a free self Loving spirit with God, not dependent on a religion to carry you in Life.

Listening and watching you seems you are so broken but fighting to let go of your pass. It interesting because I see in my life and family how some of us went though but we able to let go and seem to move on not really let it bother us today. Then a few are serious and try to go on but deep inside not over it. Seem your mom don't want to keep going back talking about the pass but you seem to bring it up. God is our healer and you trying hard. Wish you the best cause you are a good wife and great mother.

Thanks for sharing your story. I went on a French exchange when I was in secondary school and we stayed there for 10 days. I really wanted to go but I found it really difficult. As the dad assumed I knew a lot or just spoke so fast that I couldn't work much of it out that he was saying. The rest of the family made it a bit easier for me to work out some words and phrases. We had to get up early for her school. The Emile Zola school in Rennes. It was a bit of a culture shock as even though she was shy like me, she was at home in the party that we were invited to with her friends. She lived in the town on the edge of a military base with her brothers and parents. Her dad was quite high up in the military ranks there. So they had a nice house in town rather than a smaller house further out of town on the other side of the base. We could walk into town together. Meet her friends. Go shopping, we went on a couple of day trips with the family. Most of the day trips were with her and her class. Which was fun. Some of the lessons were fun. Some were too hard for me to keep up. We had 6 level classes at my school at home with French. I did pretty well but I wasn't that fluent. I struggled sometimes. I was in the top B set class and was close to getting placed in the lower A class set but I didn't quite make it. I don't mind though. I wasn't ready to move up anyway and my friend was in my class. I had a great time with my friends on the trip but I did get very homesick. I wanted to go home as I struggled to understand her father. I felt out of my depth sometimes. I got on well with my exchange student, but we were so different that we didn't know what to chat about sometimes. I was a poorer kid and she went riding and did activities that was totally different. My favourite day was when we went to a military base party and we had a BBQ and played volleyball for ages and did other sports. It was a fun day. I loved seeing different places in France and exploring the town with her and our school groups. I wouldn't change my experience as it was a great thing to do and like you I really wanted to do it. Experience another country and improving my french. I was so shy as a kid that it was overwhelming for me but important for me to do. I'm still kind of shy now but not as bad. I can talk to strangers and worked in retail for 10 yrs which is something I never thought I would do. Working in retail and meeting good friends at work helped me come out of my shell shyness wise. That wasn't until I was in my 20's.

My exchange trip was in the 90's. I struggled to remember French words and phrases as the order it goes in is confusing to me. So I can't remember much at all. Now I have been learning Dutch as I have Dutch relatives, who made the effort to speak English with us. Our cousin's spoke almost perfect English. So I felt bad as they had to work hard to think in our language all the time. So I have been learning Dutch off and on when I could by myself with books, tapes, Cd ROMs and videos. I use Duolingo now and have made so much more progress to catch up where I should have gotten to by now over the yrs. As I didn't have much time before to work on it alone and find things to work through I did a lot but had forgotten a lot of spellings. My pronunciation is okay and my comprehension was quite good but I couldn't remember spellings. I have done 270 days in a row and made so much more progress and can remember so many words, phrases and I can now remember spellings too.

Doing a Dutch Duolingo lesson right now. There is a song that I'm learning in Dutch which I can sing some of it. Some is quite fast. I watched a Dutch drama and recognised and knew quite a lot than I thought I would. So watching it wasn't too overwhelming. I enjoyed watching that series and wanted more episodes of it.

My mother in law to be is dating a Dutchman so I said Tot ziens to him as they left on Xmas day. I will try and learn from him as well by practicing my Dutch. I have a long way to go though, but I have made so much more progress than I did with French and other languages.

I have run my own pet sitting business in the UK on my own. Which I started from scratch I have been self employed for 11 yrs. So I meet new customers every yr every couple of months. So I have meet and greets with them which are like relaxed job interviews. I get nervous every time even though most of them go really well. I have built up a good reputation for myself and people trust me and recommend me. I never would have thought I would be able to do that either. Meeting strangers and working for them in different locations and with different types of pets.
