It has been 11 years now since my first fire alarm experience in a five star hotel (older wheelocks with notifier female voice evac/whoop) which happened after someone smoked in the bathroom. Of course it sparked a panic attack into me as I was very noise sensitive and still am today to a small degree, but at the same time I was scared, a new fascination.
Hi 'Dude! My 4-yo son is VERY into your videos. He is identifying every type of pull-station and speaker-strobe we see, and pretending to test fire alarms as his primary form of play. His new favorite toy is a Lego model of a Simplex T-bar Pull Station, a speaker-strobe, and a set of emergency lights. I wired in some LEDs so the emergency lights and speaker strobe actually 'work'. Anyway, we are in MA also and it would be a dream come true for him to see your fire museum in real life. I know it's a longshot, but if there's any way you'd be open to having a visitor, it would mean the world to him. I would compensate you for your time, or if you would like a Lego model of the pull station I made, I would very happily make one for you in trade. Also, we watched your Christmas and New Years specials, and they are just lovely. Keep it up; you're awesome. =)
