For people who don't know, the call points are used on most cduise ships. You may notice on one of Royal Caribbean's ships that there are bells and white strobes throughout the ship. Those bells/strobes are not fire alarm use, but are used for the general emergency alarm. (7 short and 1 long blasts)
I recently found your channel and I find these videos interesting. I honestly get incredibly scared of alarms but I'm kind of eager to learn about them. It also helps that I can control the volume of the video XD
The bell and the siren are not designed and listed for fire prevention, but for general notification in industrial facilities. They could also be used with anti-burglary systems.
They won't be since they're not ADA compliant. The siren alarms have to be at least 15 candelas (for which neither strobe is as shown in the video) in order to be compliant with the NFPA 72 codebook.
Alright, I know this is an older video but it got put into my recommended today. I watched it again and thought “What if he used some of these in a system test?” It would be interesting to see.
5:48 I did an all tones video on that a while ago but I failed miserably because my dad started walking down the stairs with an AR gun 😆 🤣 😂 all the tones on e call point fire alarm / mpergar th-cam.com/video/C5jpCSz00Q4/w-d-xo.html Credits: mpergar Yes, it was supposed to go on my channel. The phone that I used was a very bad one.
Sorry that I posted this comment a bit late. The first call point is a knock off KAC (Honeywell) old style call point. Great video by the way! Interesting fake devices!
Yep! It’s a funny one that. A mix between the KAC Series 2 (1978-1995) and the KAC World Series (1995-2003). It has the appearance of a World Series from the front, with the key in the bottom left, the line around the edge of the front cover that divides two slightly different textures of plastic, and the little cover piece over the micro switch on the cover at the top of the glass element. However, the terminals on the back of the call point are from the Series 2 model, with the 6 individual terminals. Don’t know why they combined two designs in this knock-off, but interesting nonetheless.
Hey can you do a video of an Amarex B402 versus Amerex B500 or maybe just a video of the differences between them because the only thing that I know that’s different is the hose.
Countries have different Fire codes like El Salvador, Mexico, etc. What I mean by different is like mounting and devices. One time, I spotted a system sensor mass at a pull station height.
pull it so hard , "that's what she said " lol
So fuuny
Interesting stuff both those horn strobes would be great for my durability testing series lol
"today we will be nuking a knockoff fire alarm because its funny"
lol
oh you watch this channel
Yes! l love durability testing
Yes!
The siren reminds me of the Federal Q siren you see on fire trucks and ambulances
The bootleg system sensors kind of remind me of a dying dollar tree fire truck toy
Why is ur pfp the Donald Trump mugshot
Gotta love the alarms that boot your leg lol
@4020-L “boot your leg”. I think he means ripoff clone of fire alarms… or something…
that spectral one sounds like
1: ambulance
2: arcade game
3: fast ambulance
The fuego is even worse than the fake spectaralert

When you turn the Spanish alarm upside down the strobe looks a lil bit like a Gentex commander 3 strobe
I don’t really like bootleg devices, but they’re interesting to see every once and awhile
"the siren kinda wants to walk away" XD
SER safety has the siren
And I just realized that it’s a lot higher-pitched
Im gonna be honest the alarm at 3:00 is literally a snap circuits project.
Bootleg System Sensor that's awesome 🤣
Some of the fake sounders may sound like actual fire trucks, some like car alarms or whatnot..
Btw these alarms are also used in Indonesia too 😁

Cool
Didn’t know fire alarms had rip-off clones.
Interesting. I’m curious if these would ever be installed in the U.S.
No they’re not UL listed
No that’s highly unlikely
You can find some bootleg Spectralerts in Mexico. Usually paired with the Bootleg BG-12s.
I actually saw one in the us

1:01 I have that bell
The red siren isn’t a ripoff fire alarm. Its an ms-190. Its a alarm when normal alarms aren’t loud enough, specifically in factorys.
It’s just a generic siren
@@FireAlarmDude5967 i know, just saying that you should not have put it in a rip-off alarm vid

2:47 yo what you said🤨
4:09 the way it just spun lol
I love the alarms! Bootleg! Awesome!
Your videos are gooo Why does the firework sound like a siren?
2:48. That’s what I was thinking 🫢
4:19 Sounds like a vacuum cleaner

Perhaps
Unrelated but what part of China are you from? My family is from Fuzhou lol

The callpoints and the bell are good thank u
You’re very welcome.
Great video, thanks.
it would be cool to have the bell at the start

It’s just a different hose and powder formulation inside
I’m also Chinese I’ve seen these before
Look forward to seeing you review Mexican alarms!
So spectralerts?
That’s literally just like United States fire alarm
There Chinese alarms
So L series?
My school has those bells
I’d gladly destroy all of them, maybe except the bell
It sounds like a 6 inch bell despite being a 4
1:57 Possibly a Genesis attempt?
Perhaps
Great video man keep up the good work👍👍👍👍👍🤯👍 he did
Nice
I really love
fire alarm
Real
@@FireAlarmDude5967 Actually, I’ve never even fire alarm rip-offs. Wherever I went, they perhaps used the originals instead of the fakes.
These are vintage fire alarms nice video review video
They are not vintage at all. Pretty new devices.
2:00 wtf is that supposed to be 😅
Not a clue
Sounds like a phone
Very interesting and cool
that bell's actually 6 inches
No it’s not. It’s a 4 inch bell like I said in the video. That’s why it has a diameter of 4 inches
@@FireAlarmDude5967 but it sounds like a 6 inch. maybe it's just cheap so that's why it sounds weird though
1:40 if you know you know ( a dare my friend told me to do)
I have the 3rd call point
btw the siren is 110 db
Interesting ripoff alarms.. I hope they don’t go bad..
Ser saftey has the siren
Good for him
Nah seems legit
Looks like a knock off spectralert classic
But me I don't has no key for my pull it call k night
Nice lol
How are these even allowed
They aren’t
Countries have different Fire codes like El Salvador, Mexico, etc.
What I mean by different is like mounting and devices. One time, I spotted a system sensor mass at a pull station height.
Not strobe its led.
LEDs can be strobes
Only. In Ohio💀💀
Goodness gracious I didn’t think people still said that
