This was my favorite announcement of the Direct by FAR. As soon as I saw the logo and heard the narrator say "This one’s gonna take you for a ride," I screamed "No fucking way!" so loud that Etika probably heard me all the way up in heaven.
God I could only imagine how Etika would’ve reacted to this. But yeah this was the best thing to happen. So glad we ended up streaming that direct. I almost didn’t feel like doing it. Lol -Sam
you're forgetting that sega gen has the punisher. :x i have the copy of it and the system still. but yeah it's wild to see this game series is coming back to consoles and to PC no less.
@@HypeLabs That, and The Punisher was the first ever collab between Marvel and Capcom, predating COTA by a year. Also helps that the soundtrack for The Punisher features Yoko Shimomura herself. It wasn’t enough that she contributed to Street Fighter 2, oh no.
The game is coming out to the Playstation 4 and 5 and switch and PC 🖥 and there's seven different games in one disc can't wait for the physical copy for the Playstation 4 and 5 the best game ever can't wait to get the game and the game is coming out for 12-31-24 OK enjoy the new game.

Probably the reason this is happening is Disney and Marvel are in trouble for their terrible mismanagement of the Marvel brand IP and the loss of $$$ (the new X-Men show didn't do well either), As for Capcom i heard that SF6 was not doing good well evn though it had a fanfare and tbh i think is true because i barely hear any news of it. So what a way to revitalizare the brands with the biggest crossover that majority of people remember fondly which is non other than the Marvel vs Capcom game. Hell they must be so desperate that they even put The Punisher arcade game on the collection and mind you that Marvel hates Punisher.
Where is the word X-Men ‘97 didn’t do well? A dormant series that was starved by its owners for almost a decade brought back and had 10s of millions of viewers seems pretty ok. Only show more successful on Disney+ was Acolyte, or Percy I thought.

Completely forgot it came out on genesis. But it’s grand after a long time to get the proper arcade version ported.
