Thanks for the comparison. Slider images are extremely smooth. I definitely prefer the slider. But the slider and tripod are not things I always carry with me. So although I can see the difference between the two videos, the gimbal seems like a logical choice for me.
Thanks for the comparison, Benett. I have both of these devices and find the quick set and greater variety of shots the gimbal offers, means it gets more use. Though appreciate the slider is more accurate for detail shots.
Cant you technically attach a gimbal to a tripod to give it stability thereby it reduces one of the gimbal's cons which is that it has to be held? Then its just like a slider which is stationary.I believe the Flow Pro has a 1/4 20 mount at the bottom to attach to a tripod , no?

Each tool has its place. The same goes for using a gearhead when you need it precisely to stay on a track or switch from the side. A gearhead works much better; unfortunately, today, not too many young videographers gets a chance to work with a gearhead.
Shoot i 24fps and use only use 60fps for slow motion :). You can also add an nd filter to achieve a more natural motion blur which will also add a filmic touch to your videos.

I have just bought this on amazon . The bounce-back feature does not work. Can you please advise how to use this feature please
Why not use stabilization in post when using the gimbal?
If you can use a slider, it's unbeatable for certain shots and your footage will always be sharper.

This may be dumb but I have an IPhone 15 pro. When I shoot in 4k 60fps, it looks like a soap opera. It doesn’t look cinematic. How do I change that?

I bought this slider too from seeing @Andy To using it! haven't used it once yet. need to do a full day challenge also :D
with the slider you can shoot at 25fps which i think is better than slowing down 60fps...
