Have you continued to meditate? Do you use a meditation cushion or prefer to lay down when you meditate. I find that laying down make it physically easier to meditate longer because my legs dont fall asleep; however, when I meditate cross legged I seem to be able to focus better

@Tatiassage to be honest, I didn't continue to meditate. It wasn't because I didn't enjoy the benefits of meditation, I just kept putting it off. However every few months I will come back around and start again. Same with running

Everything has been hitting me all at once lately. Financial stress, work-life stress, emotional stress, etc. But I decided to try this meditation during my lunch instead of sitting and not doing anything (because I don't have money for lunch). It helped improve my mood drastically.
Edit to update: Things have gotten better. I quit my old job and started another one closer to home. My boyfriend also works there, so we are saving money on gas, plus this job pays more since it is overnight. Things are really starting to work out for us. Now we are looking for land to move out trailer on and build the house we want.
Edit 2 (08/08/2022): We did it! We got a house! We had to move and therefore move jobs, but we did it. Now we have a cat room and a guest room in addition to our own bedroom. We don't have a washer and or dryer yet, but that will come in time. Depression and anxiety still kick my butt though, especially lately.. probably just buyers remorse or something.

Hello Jillian. It can seem like all the probs hit us at once. I usedto experience that, overburdening feeling. I started to meditate regularly. While the same burdens and obsessive troubles were there, somehow I had stopped allowing them to torment me.

Yes! It's so important to take a few minutes of meditation in our day. We can always make room for 5 minutes of meditation. And yet I have friends who deny themself even 2 or 3 minutes of med. The excuse is always the same, "I don't have time." I get the impression that many people prefer to hold on to tensions, irritations etc, than try something new and unusual that may just work.🖤😊🤝🏼🖤

The "without judgement" part is something I'm continually working on. If I notice I'm angry or upset about something during meditation, I shame myself for not doing it right. Although my therapists keeps reminding me, "That's the point of mindfulness--being aware of how you feel and what you're thinking."

Hello and a BIG thank you to the creator of this excellent meditation channel. This morning I woke up feeling horrible, I was filled with despair and destress, and I didn't know how I would make it through the day. But, this meditation really help me put things into perspective and I have been enlightened. You see, I am a single mother to 4 children. Although, they can be so lovely those little bundles of joy and I truly enjoy being a mother, sometimes I get much too overwhelmed. 🤧

I've been feeling really dissociative lately after a tough couple of years. I've felt out of whack physically and emotionally lately, like I'm just not here. I remembered a couple years ago I used to listen to these meditations every day and it was the happiest and most peaceful I've ever felt, so last night I decided to try one and here I am again tonight trying another. Still getting used to doing these again but this one did help me relax a bit, and I do feel a bit better after doing it. I'm going to try doing these every day and see if I start to feel more regulated again.

Im just now getting back into medidtation. I didnt not realize how far have gone since I stopped. My mind has been so filled with demons lately, really its just me. Be mindful of your surroundings an what you feed your mind. At the end of the day the way you perceive the world is up to you. Make it what you want.

coming from an extremely anxious person I tried this before going out to meet others socially and it improved my sense of grounding so good as if I can just breathe and let it be. you can control you but not the external and let it be :)

I did this yesterday morning sitting on a mat in the front garden looking eastwards. Last night was the first time in years I slept through the night. Just shared with a group of 233 persons. Thank you🥰🇧🇧

Struggled doing it today. Always do when I have a lot of stressors. Will try again tomorrow as usual. This length is great when you know you’re not going to be able to concentrate! ❤

I just did this with my 10 year old son who was convinced he could never meditate. He has anxiety and auditory processing disorder. He said he had tried before and couldn't do it.
Well. We did this and he was able to relax, clear his head and said he was disappointed when it was over. This is seriously life changing for him. I plan on doing this daily with him before school and before bedtime. Thank you so much for posting this 💜

Thank you so much for posting this video. I’ve been dealing with so much stress lately that I was mentally drained from it all. When it came time for the five minutes to end, I honestly felt a lot better and ready to handle the rest of my day. I’m definitely incorporating this into my daily routine.

I know this will sound very different from all the other comments, but i meditate before playing video games to be more focused and not rage so if i lose i wont get angry and to also become consistent in game and in life itself by always doing it. These five minutes also felt like the longest five minutes ever but still i wasnt bored and against all odds my ADHD just felt non-existent in that time. Thank you for this awesome meditation

Wow it was a whole experience, I really felt like I was present in the moment, being fully aware of my body and what I was doing, like really like a whole trip to recognize that I was alive and breathing, and exactly recognize and accept the thoughts that were going trough my mind and I didn’t realize they were there before, it opened my eyes to realize that meditation it is really a real thing that makes you aware of yourself.
