Have you continued to meditate? Do you use a meditation cushion or prefer to lay down when you meditate. I find that laying down make it physically easier to meditate longer because my legs dont fall asleep; however, when I meditate cross legged I seem to be able to focus better

@Tatiassage to be honest, I didn't continue to meditate. It wasn't because I didn't enjoy the benefits of meditation, I just kept putting it off. However every few months I will come back around and start again. Same with running

Everything has been hitting me all at once lately. Financial stress, work-life stress, emotional stress, etc. But I decided to try this meditation during my lunch instead of sitting and not doing anything (because I don't have money for lunch). It helped improve my mood drastically.
Edit to update: Things have gotten better. I quit my old job and started another one closer to home. My boyfriend also works there, so we are saving money on gas, plus this job pays more since it is overnight. Things are really starting to work out for us. Now we are looking for land to move out trailer on and build the house we want.
Edit 2 (08/08/2022): We did it! We got a house! We had to move and therefore move jobs, but we did it. Now we have a cat room and a guest room in addition to our own bedroom. We don't have a washer and or dryer yet, but that will come in time. Depression and anxiety still kick my butt though, especially lately.. probably just buyers remorse or something.

Hello Jillian. It can seem like all the probs hit us at once. I usedto experience that, overburdening feeling. I started to meditate regularly. While the same burdens and obsessive troubles were there, somehow I had stopped allowing them to torment me.

The "without judgement" part is something I'm continually working on. If I notice I'm angry or upset about something during meditation, I shame myself for not doing it right. Although my therapists keeps reminding me, "That's the point of mindfulness--being aware of how you feel and what you're thinking."

Yes! It's so important to take a few minutes of meditation in our day. We can always make room for 5 minutes of meditation. And yet I have friends who deny themself even 2 or 3 minutes of med. The excuse is always the same, "I don't have time." I get the impression that many people prefer to hold on to tensions, irritations etc, than try something new and unusual that may just work.🖤😊🤝🏼🖤

I've been feeling really dissociative lately after a tough couple of years. I've felt out of whack physically and emotionally lately, like I'm just not here. I remembered a couple years ago I used to listen to these meditations every day and it was the happiest and most peaceful I've ever felt, so last night I decided to try one and here I am again tonight trying another. Still getting used to doing these again but this one did help me relax a bit, and I do feel a bit better after doing it. I'm going to try doing these every day and see if I start to feel more regulated again.

I’ve been listening to this upon waking up for a month now, and it’s made a significant difference in my life. I’m slightly more aware of my emotions in daily situations (I’d say 20% more likely to notice if something emotionally pops up), more forgiving and compassionate in my self-talk, and I can center myself quickly and effectively allowing my thoughts to stay in charge and not allowing my emotions to drive outcomes

This is one of my most favorite meditations! I love how she guides us through the meditation encouraging us to just be. Most times during guided meditations, my wonderings about am I breathing right, is my body in the right position, am I holding my posture correctly, and oops my mind just wandered I need to bring it back in Brandy are in strong competition with the actual process of meditating. But here, I’m not worried about any of that! I just get to be, and that’s so good for my anxiety. I think that’s why I love this one so much!

i live In a bustling city, my life was a whirlwind of deadlines and demands. One day, a friend send me this video link. Skeptical at first, i decided to give it a try during a hectic workweek.
Every morning, before diving into my chaotic routine, i dedicated a mere 5 minutes to meditation. The results were astounding. The once-overwhelming stress gradually transformed into a manageable challenge. my focus improved, allowing me to accomplish tasks more efficiently.
my relationships flourished as i became more present, and my emotional resilience grew. Even during financial uncertainties, i found solace in my brief daily meditation.
These 5 minutes became a lifeline, restoring my balance, clarity, and inner peace. i discovered that mindfulness wasn't about the duration, but the impact it could have on my life. It was a small practice that brought immense tranquility amidst life's chaos.

I watched a video today of a group of friends who had permission to film a meditation session at a beautiful retreat. It had a great effect on them and I had never tried guided meditation before. This went by so fast! I feel very lucky in that I find it easy to just let things be. As I've aged I've learned to let go of caring what others think of me, and to learn that some things just don't matter in the grand scheme of things. I appreciated the break from too much visual stimulation and just letting myself and my surroundings "be" for a few minutes. I really enjoyed this, thank you. I will definitely be doing this again, and probably for a longer session as well.

This has helped me enormously. My mind was racing today, I couldn’t concentrate, I was alternating between feelings of panic and sadness. I feel much more at peace. I love meditations with a body scan, soft voice, and relaxing tones. This was utterly perfect. Thank you.

Been doing this meditation regularly for months. It really helps my mental state. I have bipolar disorder and with therapy and group DBT therapy, this meditation is the icing on the cake for keeping my ground and well mentally. Highly recommend regular use of this meditation. Before and after work. Before starting your day. Really helps put things into perspective and to let go of stress. Thanks for making this video. It has made all the difference for me!

Also: I plan on doing this (In shaa Allah) every day in the morning or whenever I get the chance (going to try to make a stable routine of this) and perhaps updating. Currently, lots are going to shambles and relationships around me are breaking. I do feel a bit hopeless but not entirely. My hopes are in Allah and in His guidance. I have ADHD and issues with concentrating but this meditation actually kept me focused subhanAllah I’m really surprised. (So thank you very much). I’ll be back hopefully 🤍

Wow it was a whole experience, I really felt like I was present in the moment, being fully aware of my body and what I was doing, like really like a whole trip to recognize that I was alive and breathing, and exactly recognize and accept the thoughts that were going trough my mind and I didn’t realize they were there before, it opened my eyes to realize that meditation it is really a real thing that makes you aware of yourself.
