Gosh my 21 son would not want to be sharing a room with us and neither would I want him to! You guys have a special relationship. It’s lovely and different. X
You’d get real friendly real quick when you realized it costs thousands to get a second room lol. Most families stayed in one room that we saw unless you had married couples or larger families that couldn’t fit.
Cilla you are such a good mom! So prepared! I have no doubt your family would be ready for any cruise issue/emergency 😉 thanks for sharing your experience with us guys ❤ I haven’t been on a cruise since I was a kid…I mostly remember the bunk bed I was just old enough to sleep in it, but I was tiny, they almost didn’t believe my parents I was old enough to, and that I just couldn’t get over the fact we were in a floating city, loved that! Just kept staring! At everything! Also back then (late 90s/early 2000s) you had to put your lifejackets on at the beginning of the trip and all gather together and listen to the captain, explain what would happen if the ship sunk and how to evacuate in an orderly fashion to the lifeboats…someone told me you don’t have to do that anymore?
I went on my very first cruise last October on the Carnival Horizon. I was with a group cruise that was part of an organization called Helping Hands 4 Cruising. It was the inaugural cruise for them an the first recipient was a young man with cerebral palsy from Tennessee that has never been to a beach or seen the ocean. Looks like you are all having a lot of fun. Great to see an organization like Autism on the Seas. Enjoy...my next cruise will be on the Carnival Breeze in October 2024 to Progreso and Cozumel.
Been watching you on fathering autism forever. This is the first time on this channel, I love it. It has the same vibe. Spotted some old fathering autism.😊
We stayed in this same room with our 7yo and 1 yo. We loved it for the actual bathtub for the baby and it worked out great because the closet fits a pack n play. I'm not a super packer like Pricilla so we only used half the closet. But it was perfect to have a space that was dark and quiet for naps/bedtime! Although we did keep a shoe in the door as a spacer bc I didn't want to mess with those steel doors. Totally recommend for families
I have been on a Carnival Cruise from Galveston Tx to Cozumel on the Breeze. We had a room about the same size for 3 adults. It was handicapped accessible with shower chair. King size bed and couch bed. Had a balcony but the panels were white not see through. I like your balcony better. You can sit and see the water. Like the ideas of all the toiletries in the hanging bag. Fan great idea. We have our next cruise booked for Dec 2024. It was nice to see a different cruise line.
My husband and I went on a cruise and we loved it. It was on the princess cruise, and we did Caribbean cruise.the water is so beautiful and clear. Just before covid, we wanted to do other cruise, but that didn't happen. So we are planning to go again real soon.
Thank you for letting us see your room tour, looks a lovely suite you have on the ship. Thanks also for taking us on your journey on the ship. Looks like you are all having great fun. Enjoy your holiday. Love from Scotland xxxx
I cruised Royal Caribbean and Disney both where really good. ❤. Even with sea sickness on our first cruise the medical staff really helped us cope with medication and wrist pressure point compression bands to help with the recovery of sea sickness.
I am so glad your family is having lots of fun on the cruise. Abbie is enjoying her respite room & one on one with a person that specializes in kids or teens like your daughter & anybody with any kinds of disabilities is so cool! I hope & pray you all continue to stay safe & well.
Never been on harmony yet but a Royal Caribbean or Celebrity long time cruiser. Been cruising with my mom since I was 10 or 12 and I’m 44 now! We usually pack our own water and soda and I don’t bring heels however I saw you did pack Abbie’s blanket. I always take my personal pillow in its flannel case and a coordinating throw to help make our cabin feel more like home
Never been on a cruise, but considering the Autism cruise with my son. He would love it. It's great to be able to get away from stimulation too. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!!
I'm learning about cruising we went our further at the bugging of August and I loved it... thank u foe sharing ur secret for cruseing... Abigail is such a lovely lady
I'd been waiting for this room tour 👏! Yes, I took my family of 4 including our autistic son who was 21 on a cruise also out of Miami to Coco Cay on Freedom of the Seas in December 2021😎 We had a room with the porthole window & the 2 beds that pulled out from the ceiling but we would have loved a junior suite like yours awesome 😃 We live in South Florida & that cruise was a lot of fun because everything was decorated for Christmas since it was from the 17th-20th 😍 It wasn't considered a holiday cruise because Christmas didn't fall within those days so we got a great deal and didn't have to pay the holiday fees 👏I would recommend that cruise to everyone it's a beautiful ship and it was a beautiful time of year 😊
I’ve been blessed to go on 2 cruises. one, 9 yrs ago to Alaska. It’s a must! Then my second cruise was a birthday cruise for me and my Oldest Sister our birthdays are 9 yrs and 5 days a part. She the oldest and I’m the baby of 5 siblings. We went the same cities the Maass are seeing currently. We used Norwegian cruise line. I love Norwegian. They always make me feel very comfortable and I had a lot of fun. If I was healthy, I would definitely go on another cruise. If you have a chance to take a cruise somewhere, I think you should try it, You will love it and when you do one you’ll want to go back again and again.
I’ll have to live vicariously through you guys because I’ll never be able to cruise. I have a potentially deadly (think anaphylaxis) allergy to alcohol, more specifically, hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer vaporizer instantly and no mask will block it. I have a severe asthma attack in about 2 seconds after inhaling it. An inhaler doesn’t always work and sometimes I’m off to the ER. Can’t drink alcohol or have food make with alcohol either. Other products I have to be careful of are perfumes, hairspray and spray on sunscreens. Many contain alcohol as it is used as a drying agent in those products and again, it hits the air and I’m done for. The cruise looks like a lot of fun!!! I’ve enjoyed watching you have so much fun!!!
Don’t want to feel like your on top of each other and the kids are literally on top of each other 😂😂 it’s a very nice room. Very much living experiences through your family! Thank you for your honesty and normal reviews/content ❤
🌸 💙💙💙 I was 5 (the youngest of 5 kids) and my family crluised on the SS Lurline when we were stationed to Scott AFB from Hickman AFB in HI. I don't remember much of anything, but have heard stories and have lots of pictures, menus, etc from that cruise. 1966. We had a road trip/tent camping from CA to SC to visit family before heading up to IL.
I have always heard that the rooms are tiny but no, they have bigger rooms obviously. Oh, how fun I would love to be on a cruise with you guys. Thanks for showing us the room.
So much useful information and so much fun sharing this journey with you all. . thank you for taking us along on this memorable trip with your amazing family!! ❤
So many great tips! Thank you for being so down to earth and informative, I have only been on a Norwegian cruise so it's nice to see how rooms and suites are set up on other ships. Priscilla, I love your organization skills and my husband will be more than thrilled. When I bring some of the things I left behind at home thinking I wouldn't have enough room now that I know how to organize things a little better I appreciate all of you!
thank you for sharing your entire week. Very informative. Ya'll look so happy, having fun family time. The entire setup for special needs people is awesome. I'm so happy Abigail enjoyed herself. Keep up the great work Asa. You are a fantastic asset to the entire people with Autism world. Mom, you are a natural confident woman. You also look flippin' also, beautiful style girlfriend! Isah you are such a good son and brother to Abigail. luv your entire family's relationship. I haven't been on a cruise before, I'm not into what i call a "mall" theme inside with all the shops etc, however, i would take a cruise with perhaps a different set-up.
I will tell you what ship NOT to go on. The Carnival Pride. It was a two week cruise that went up the Baltic Sea, leaving out of Dover England visiting countries like Sweden, Germany, Estonia, Denmark, Finland. It was amazing until it wasn’t. We were on our way to visit another stop in Sweden when the ship made a loud boom and the horizon started going UP and down, we were swaying big time. Then we stoped moving and started turning in circles very slowly in the middle of the Baltic Sea…for hours. We eventually had to go back to the port of Kiel Germany very slowly to get our ship fixed and then the moment we get back to Germany the captain gets on the loudspeaker to tell us the rest of the cruise was cancelled due to a Azipod Propeller issue? We now are in Germany and needed to get back to England. They hired plane charters for some and told the rest of us to find our own way back, my husband and I included. Then tried fighting us for the reimbursements for flights even though we had them on video explaining we would be reimburse. Worst company ever. That was our very first cruise experience 😢 12:15
I've been eyeing cruises, we have 3 little ones and when I saw this room I though I "we can do this!" also my eldest has autism so I'm highly considering the "autism on the seas" program! thanx guys!
I've never been on a cruise ship none whatsoever thanks for sharing the room tour and all the necessities needed I'll keep this in mind in the future should I ever be able to go on a cruise.
I haven’t been on a cruise for two decades now. My last cruise was on the cruise ship from San Diego. We went on Holland America. We cruising from San Diego to San Lucas Cabo, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta, as well. We went on 8 days cruise with my family. We didn’t like it. We rather will go to Caribbean cruise sometime in the future.
Never been on cruise. May actually entertain the thought! You guys make it look not terrifying and the quieter less hetic areas are a reason i would consider. I get overwhelmed because of my anxiety, but want to do all thing's to!
I've never been on a cruise. That's too much water to drink, lol. Thank you for the information about the cruise you were on. I'll put a cruise on my bucket list/wishlist.
We stay in balcony rooms that are not suites on Royal Caribbean. We’ve been on several ships. We have always had shampoo and soaps provided. And 2 daily room services just like you described. Those things are not exclusive to suits. We’ve been on Freedom, Allure, Adventure, Ovation, and Symphony. LOVE Royal Caribbean!!!
My first cruise was in May on the carnival horizon. It was a beautiful ship! We went to Aruba, Curacao and a couple places in the Dominican Republic. Apparently I gambled so much they decided to invite me back lol. So now next year I am booked to take another cruise out of Long Beach California to Catalina Island and ensenada Mexico on the carnival radiance.
Me and my husband have been on several çruises world cruises also four week ones and two week to Norway 🇳🇴 we like small ships so we had Fred Olson cruise lines fantastic ❤❤ crew are fabulous xxx 🎉🎉🎉😊😂❤😊
I have been on 1 royal caribbean and 2 disney cruises and I’m going on my 3rd disney cruise next month. I am diagnosed autistic but am on the more mild part of the spectrum.
My family done a lot of cruise the best we like is Norwegian cruise line they go from everywhere we want to Hawaii and did that going on almost 2 week’s cruise from nyc to y]the island I’m January. Wow that cruise you are looks so wonderful
Ive been on 3 cruises. Have To Say hands down Royal Carribean is amazing, good food good entertainment. Ive been on Freedom of the Seas, cant remember what the other was. Ive also been On Pride of America with NCL
Thanks for the items, never been on a c Cruise I want to but don't I'm not a fan of big boats and water I can't see the bottom of. I think it's awesome that abbie enjoys going. 😂
3 cruises all on the Carnival line... hoping to have my 4th cruise soon, thinking of trying something besides Carnival... not saying they are bad, I just want to try another!
All answered my question 😊I saw a coffee pot in the room. I was wondering if you had to exercise for your cup of coffee 😅each morning or if their was a coffee pot provided.
I have never been on a cruise. So what does that comes with besides your room, all the food and drinks? "Tea soda coffee" comes with your Cruise also 😊
Love the vlog! 😄💚Have never been in a cruise. Wheelchair bound due to Spina Bifida and those bathrooms do not look accessible. But it looks like a lot of fun. Water is beautiful!
Hi, I’m looking for the link for Priscilla’s jewelry bag. I’ve looked but can’t find the link. I have checked your Amazon store, but can’t find it there either. Love you guys
We have done Royal Caribbean 3 * 1 from LA ensalada Catalina and San Diego then our next one was Alaskan 7-day Cruise and then we had a Caribbean cruise to Jamaica Cosmo I forget whether city was our daughter got married in Jamaica on the beach it was a wonderful day I don't remember the ships names
Was there a way to secure that balcony door so that those who are on the lower functioning end of the spectrum can't get out and accidentally go overboard? That thought is terrifying! Thanks for the tour, guys, the room looked fabulous! Safe travels ❤️🙏🕊
Yes, the handle is not easy to operate. It has to be fully rotated with force to be opened and there’s an additional child lock on the top of the door.
Cruised on Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Queen Mary 2 & Carnival. Queen Mary was pure elegance, we sailed from New York to Caribbean. Personally, I think it depends on your destination as to which cruise line you use. Ex. Princess was great going to Tahiti & Alaska, Royal Caribbean great for the Caribbean, Norwegian great for Hawaii, etc. Carnival, Holland America were the least favorite.
So I heard you mention unlimited food, does that include drinks as well and what about room services? Besides the excursions and the shops, does anything else cost extra?
Juice, tea, lemonade, water, etc is included. Room service is included for continental breakfast. Theres a $8 service charge for the full menu room service per order. For example, you could order a full meal with dessert to the room for $8…or if you order one cheeseburger it’s also $8. They have drink packages for sodas and/or alcoholic drinks. Some premium menu items cost extra and there are some dining options that cost extra like Hibachi and a fancy steak house.
Priscilla is definitely a person I'd want to travel with. I'm so unorganized and I feel like she'd help keep me in line! 😂
Priscilla is awesome she thinks of everything.
Gosh my 21 son would not want to be sharing a room with us and neither would I want him to! You guys have a special relationship. It’s lovely and different. X

Love the vlog! 😄💚Have never been in a cruise. Wheelchair bound due to Spina Bifida and those bathrooms do not look accessible. But it looks like a lot of fun. Water is beautiful!
Accessible bathrooms exist on cruise ships but only maybe a couple of wheelchair cabins (book early)
There’s wheelchair accessible cabins on every deck I believe 4 of them

Sorry about that, here you go - amzn.to/45UM2oY
The room is great. But wow, do you have stuff. lol. How long will it take to pack it all back up?
It took about 30 minutes to pack. We are well organized lol
I've been on 6.. maybe 7 cruises before disability (fixed income). We're a Carnival kinda family but 🤫 I'd like to try Royal one day lol
I’m so curious on how much it cost! I wanna do this with my family so bad
It varies greatly depending on the ship, the room, and even the time of year you cruise.
Love it
That closet is massive 😮. How is the wifi there? Could you work from there consistently like zoom calls emails etc?
I had a zoom call and it was fine. Regular internet use is no issue. You can tell that it’s a little slow but for stuff like emails it’s not an issue.
Hi love really nice here tour
Cruised on Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Queen Mary 2 & Carnival. Queen Mary was pure elegance, we sailed from New York to Caribbean. Personally, I think it depends on your destination as to which cruise line you use. Ex. Princess was great going to Tahiti & Alaska, Royal Caribbean great for the Caribbean, Norwegian great for Hawaii, etc. Carnival, Holland America were the least favorite.
That’s very good info!
Love Royal Caribbean! We did Enchantment of the Seas last time and it was nice though not nearly as nice as Harmony!
