    My parents have had a camper for over 10 years. One of the best things they every got for it was a woven patio mat that runs the length of the camper. Helps keep the sand out!

    My favorite part as a kid at the Kansas State Fair was walking through all the RV's for sale. I hadn't thought about that for years....thanks for reminding me of that.

    I love this! My brother has a camper that we use when we stay with him for holidays and stuff. It has one slide for the living room area. It has a bunk bed, then the table area can turn into another. It’s perfect for using at his house when we stay the weekend or whatever. And they love it for when they go camping. They are a family of 4, and they usually go to a camping site. I’m sure they’d like something bigger if they did more of a traveling type camping like you guys do. But it works pretty good for them. Most of the time they hang out outside of the camper under the awning, or are at a place where they can fish and stuff. So they didn’t need something as big. But I’m loving the size of yours! I’d totally be able to live in it on a regular basis!

    Don't know if you will read this, BUT!!!!! :
    ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
    For your pantry and keeping Abbie from over indulging as well 😂as opening - slide your clip on fan that I saw up on track and slide it to pantry door, she will not be able to open at all.
    I did this in our camper as we have the very same barn style sliding door and we conquered grazing temptations!!
    ALSO: we use a chip clip,hair claw or even a clamp vice used in hardware projects for gluing wood together- alot of things can be useful as well in that same spot if our fan is in use!!!!☆☆☆☆☆

    Love all her modifications y’all made to your camper, I will definitely be stealing a few ideas…like the broom holder, the fans, and the towel rack! Also love the idea of storing shoes below the dining booth chairs. I am always fussing about everyone’s shoes on the floor. So I don’t have a lot of neat tips but wanted to share we have a small handheld vacuum in our RV that is SO handy! Also I ordered a set of picnic table covers on Amazon that we absolutely love! They are elastic so you stretch them over the table and they come with seat covers also. They are that PEVA material so they clean up great! I also ordered two little solar powered lanterns I keep on the table along with a silver wear/plate caddy. It just stays there all day until we go to bed. Our favorite camping chairs are the Anti gravity chairs, and I have a rocker that I love as well. We have portable tiki torch lamps that we always set up for ambient lighting (and bug repellent). Camping is so much fun, such great family time. Looking forward to your adventures!

    Use to camp when I was younger there was 6 of us in one tiny camper about half ur size and we stayed all summer and was fine with it. U will learn the tricks of the trade fast I don't remember a whole lot of what my parents and family members used but the more u do it the more u will learn. Good luck with camping.

    We have a 40 foot class A. We have both been camping all of our lives and our sons first trip was when he was 6 weeks old (he’s 10 now). We are working on how to put some kind of lift in so we can get our son in and out the door now that he’s so heavy. The wheelchair has to stay outside though. We’ve not had to make many modifications to this coach so far but we are thinking of a bit of a remodel if we can’t find a super C floor plan that fits our needs.

    Suction cup hooks (large) to stick on the back or front of the trailer for swim/beach towels and swim suits. They will dry and drip outside of the trailer. Another, you would not have this issue. But, color assign beach towels. That way you know who didn’t hang up a towel or left a towel at the swim area.

    Hello, just purchased a 2022 3250BH, are you running a 2500? Or 3500? Diesel? I have a 2019 f-250 plat diesel and looks like we are maxing out the payload. Thanks for posting the videos, we haven't taken delivery yet and we are getting excited. Had the 2800 BH for 6 years and it was good to us.

    • @moremaass
      @moremaass  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Congrats on the new trailer! I have a 2500 diesel. 14,500 towing capacity 3900lb payload. Your truck isn’t far off from that. I have no problems pulling it. Climbed the Rockies with ease and we pulled it through the sand in 4wd a couple times on our trip.

    • @bcribdog
      @bcribdog 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@moremaass Thanks for the quick reply, huh, my payload is 1950 lbs on the f-250. At least that's what it says in the door jam, I thought I would need to get the f-350 to get to 3400lb plus. Anyway, so no sway issues with the trailer? What weight distribution hitch are you using, equalizer? Or another anti sway? Thanks again.

    • @moremaass
      @moremaass  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bcribdog No, none at all with the Fastway e2 10k lb. It's the trunnion model as opposed to the round bar. I've accidentally had it up to 80mph when I was lost in my thoughts in the middle of Wyoming and still no sway. With completely dry tanks I did get a little sway passing semi trucks but I just keep the water full or shift some weight further up towards the tongue and roll out. Check out this site for a good calculator. I still have 2,916lbs available payload with the trailer on the hook according to this site. brandonreid.github.io/truck-towing-capacity/index.html

      We wanted to be able to have a desperate camper because of your rv breaks down it makes life more complicated with having to get it fixed and having to toe a vehicle, also when we rented the driving rv Abbie had a hard times when we would stop because she wanted to keep driving so she obsessed about sitting in the passenger seat while stopped.

    Out of curiosity why did you choose travel trailer as apposed to a motorhome and tow a vehicle. Seems like it would be easier for Abbie to travel in a motorhome than being in a truck?

    • @moremaass
      @moremaass  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A couple reasons and one main reason. She'd still have to be buckled in when on the road and truck seats are far more comfortable. RVs of comparable size are very expensive as well. The primary reason is because when we rented a Class C she would rarely leave the front passenger seat and constantly asked to "go" when we were camping. She loves to ride in vehicles so she will obsess about it. It's better that we have the drivable vehicle separate.

      He’s good, haven’t seen him in 2 years because of covid but he’s living the great life in Seattle.
