Aaaaawwwwwwwwww ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ bless. My cat wanted to eat him or her lol. It's ok we are in Australia. Also he's a ragdoll and doesn't have many instincts. Lol. I'm praying for the babies. I have a pink bible. I pray for animals because sometimes people forget them. My budgie passed away young a week or so ago. I cried. It's hard with delicate animals. Wishing them well Asa. Hi Mrs Jessica ❤ welcome to the world babies.
I don't recommend the heating pad underneath if it covers too much surface area, especially in summer. You want them to be able to escape to a cooler area if they start feeling too warm. Great job with the container and love from Australia 🇦🇺
The heat mat is thermostat regulated. The office stays right around 75 which is too cool for freshly hatched chicks. There’s very little radiant heat that comes off the heating mat because it’s designed to keep seedlings warm.
Also chicks and stay in the incubator up to 72 hours i only do 48 though its not a good idea to open the incubator once other chicks start pipping it can cause shrink wrapping because the humidity drops drastically when opening the incubator so you can leave chicks in thee up to 72 hours their peeps will also encouraged the others to hatch.
I totally feel your pain when you were cutting that tote. A couple nights ago I cut a hole in the side of a tote for my a litter box for my cat. I used the snips that you were using, destroyed my hands, lol.
We have California quail here in California (lol) and quail hunting here has been horrible the last few years. Between the lack of water then the influx of water and flooding. Then there’s the fires. Then add the fact that they suck at reproducing.
What is the name of the tool that you ended up using to cut the plastic lid? My dad is a tool guy and has like every tool but I know he doesn’t have one of those. I’ve seen them before, but never knowing what they were called and it’s not a surprise for him if I ask him. Lol
You need to TH-cam the red green show. They idolize and worship duct tape, and it just made me laugh when you were talking about the duct tape guys kind of remind me of you. I think it’s a show that you should most definitely watch with Isaiah I think the two of you would get a really good kick out of out of it
I’m not a quail expert, but I am a former vet tech/wildlife Rehabber. You are doing great!
It cracked me up when you were talking about the cat and you panned over & she was sitting there licking her lips.
That little chick is adorable!
"you should probably not use a razor knife" IM DYING! Lmaooo
I think you did a great job 👏👏👍👍 Love it!! Wrangler is a good name for the feisty Lil baby quail. It is adorable 🥰🥰

Looks good! Cute little chick!❤
My unprofessional opinion for improvement is to take the sticker off the side of the plastic bin 😂
Lol
Asa, you are so talented! You remind me of my grandfather. He could anything! May he rest in peace! ❤
You so excited with your lil quail! 😊
Those totes are a pain to cut thru! I have a bunch with screen tops for bugs I raise for my reptiles. Brooder looks good and chick is so cute!!!
Awesome

I would had taped the screen with duct tape instead of the zip ties. But it looks really good.
Hardware cloth is way too rigid to tape down, it would just roll back to its original shape if it were only taped down.
mortar and pestle.
What did you sit on top at the end? The black thing?
It’s a product Photo Booth. I just set it on top to helps the heat in while the brooder warmed up
How is wrangler today??
Doing good. She’s fully grown and a great layer.
🌸 💙💙💙
That one chick is a handful.

💜❤️
You can check out Living Traditions Homestead. He has a whole bunch of vidors on quail and making brooders.
Mortar and pestle = grindy bowl thing

It’s called an oscillating multi-tool and it’s probably the most used tool in my tool box.
I even use the sander adapter to clean the Blackstone
@@moremaass awesome!! Thank you. My dad is a total tool guy and it seems like something I think he would use frequently too.
😮
Mortar & pestle 😊
