fyi most people drive in track mode with the sport dampers off, the normal and sport modes are good tough they don't "kill" all performance (unlike last gen STI VDC) I'm not a fan of drift mode it does some weird things it's clearly meant only to do donuts or powerslide and not drive "for real"

@@jonathanragle9838 it sold quite well actually, 3500 units in the first year which is a good number for such a niche vehicle. They stopped producing it only 2 years later because the new Focus model was launched and manufacturers very rarely produce multiple models of the same car. They likely never made another RS either because of emissions, their fleet emission levels weren't great because they brought the 5.0 Mustang to the continent. Plus I don't think they made much money off these RSes, they were priced quite aggressively and offered a lot for the price. That AWD system was incredible for the time.

What country are you in? I am in the USA and aside from the Mustang Ford is out of the car business over here right now. They said as soon as the market changes they will start making cars again but until then it's trucks and SUVs. That was probably what I meant by nobody buying them (that comment was a year ago). Nobody was buying enough Ford cars to keep stamping them out.
