Safe path on turns. Find a safe path well ahead. Get the big picture. How wide and deep? What's in it? Objects and ground. Keeps you away from billboards. Smooth stops and turns. Buys time. Stay back and see it all. Keep your eyes moving. Move eyes. Front 2 sec. Rear 5-8 sec. Keeps you alive at intersections. Keeps eyes ahead of car. Scan, don't stare. Leave yourself an out. Have escape route. Take path of least resistance. Space on all four sides. Always in front. Be prepared, expect the unexpected. Make sure they see you. Communicate in traffic. Horn, lights, signals. Establishes eye to eye contact. Don't gamble. Use your horn, lights, signals.

I dont get what Baseball and Dart board mean? Are they trying to say look ahead always like a large baseball field? The wording i can memorize but i want to know what they mean?

I wasnt used to driving a big ass vehicle like a package car, The cars im used to are light nimble, short. With aim high in steering you have to look ahead and judge steering that way to stay in the middle of your traffic lane. With a sports car aim close.
I just applied and i have the 5 day class next week, 3 days of class 2 of driving, i cant even remember this stuff word for word off the top of my head and im anxious as heck
@@DareToScare98 Brother, I am not kidding. Study your 5s first. Learn it word by word. Best way (for me is to write it down word for word in a note book.) Also the 10s will be much difficult. Do this before you go to class. They tell you to study before 1st day and they are NOT JOKING. Trust me. Do it. Dont F yourself.

Has to do with competence. If you can remember word for word then you can probably remember methods and routes to the T.

Because you are aiming ahead to the baseball, the dart to the board and well ahead of truck to keep you centered in lane
