Thank you! So in essense, an outside mitre cut is beveled inward(raw wood hidden), inside corners bevel outward( raw wood visible)

Do you have a video on the pro and cons on the different types of material used for 1/4 round and shoe molding? When I go to the box store there are 5 different types (poplar, pine, pvc, Styrofoam and MDF. Finally, what is the best way to attach them when there are steel studs? Thanks

No, I do not have a video covering that topic. However for steel studs you will need to use trim screws. Wood trim will out perform all the others. Thanks for watching.

I have no problem cutting one outside corner, I have issues when needing to cut two outside corners on the same piece of trim. Hard to get the exact lenth

Steve, sneek up on the correct length. Cut it a little long and test fit it. Then just remove half saw blades at a time until you get that nice tight fit. It is more trips to the saw, however the nice fit you can get is worth it.

How do you make sure your saw is at 45 1/2? isn't there a stop indent at 45?

Yes there is a stop indent at 45, however you can go past that. Just go in-between 45 and 46.

My saw doesn't rotate. How would I do it on a basic table saw?

You would have to use a sled or the miter gauge to cut a 45-degree angle on a table saw.

It not easy, if you have baseboard that on right wall or left wall, when you go the saw, left baseboard when cutting 45, do you cut on left side of cutting or right, no one never tell a beginner where to place your baseboard at?
