Actually now that I've thought about it, even when you have an X-power as low as ~2000 in a mode you place somewhere around 10,000 in the world. Considering the there is almost 8 billion people in the world (7.53 as of 2017), and let's just use a quarter of that since not EVERYONE in the world is playing Splatoon, you're placing in the top 0.005%! (How's THAT for a confidence boost?)

I've been hearing that word tilt alot & after some analysis & self examination, I have been able to reduce mine, sometimes it still flares up, but making more conscious effort to record the footage and review at later on my switch certainly helps me analyse where I went wrong & what I could have done better & vice versa, having good knowledge of the map's help too, particularly in Clamblitz & keeping an eye for higher vantage points or areas to fire from

Great video, I payed extra special attention to the start, as that's one of my weakest maps on rainmaker I can now say, it looks like it's best to push as far as to the bottom as possible, and to go for second conveyor ramp & trying climb that way, rather than the first? At least that's how I saw it 🤔
Basically what you mentioned is recommended on the first push, but if you're able to reach to the top of first conveyor, the Rainmaker shot will be very effective on that spot and have a higher chance to do a Knockout.

Michael Thompson yea that strategy works well only if you got the right teammates once I got two snipers in tower control and a slosher which didn’t work out well😬

(already improving into not doing that) last time i picked the e-liter scoped, never ever played any charger and i was decent? that positive experience showed me i can play each weapon and i'm now streaming every posible day with a different weapon (at random) and that also helped with my confidence, improving my game
Since you need a win rate of around 40% to get there and around 30% to stay there I can't say that it means much and that comes from someone who only plays X Rank.

The Iwoomynati Personally I’d prefer if all the stages that have ever been released in Splatoon 1 and 2 could be brought back into 3 along with whatever brand new stages they add. Personally in my top 5 stages Mahi Mahi Resort from Splatoon 1 and I also really liked Hammerhead Bridge as well. I’d say I’m one of the few players who doesn’t hate any of the stages and only likes some more than others.
It's because it was a sniper's paradise. If Moray was in the rotation, you were guaranteed to see at least 1 E-liter every game. The map had to be modified a couple times to keep chargers from being super dominate. It's better in Splatoon 2, but it is still kinda annoying. To put it simply, the map is fine casually. Once you start going high up in rank (or competitively), it isn't fun having to constantly fight chargers in a map that heavily favors them.
Why do you think splatoon 2 callouts are so much more difficult to memorize compared to Csgo or other popular shooters. How did you go about practicing callouts?
@@penperry5347 but the second you're called out, or someone just sees you... You're dead, you only have splashdown to protect yourself, which is easy to shoot down.
@@penperry5347 1. Curling bombs use a LOT of ink, sub saver isn't good for sploosh and most weapons in general. 2. If you get close to someone, dualies can dodge roll and other close range weapons can kill you faster than you can kill them while still having more range. The only weapon you slightly outrange is Inkbrush. 3. If your splashdowns don't get shot down IRS most likely because you're in lower ranks (like 99% of sploosh users) where people either don't know you can shoot them down yet or are too slow with their aim to do it. 4. It's impossible to avoid being seen unless you never press R and ZR and just hide in squid form. Good players will look at the map and see you flanking, easy kill. And you also have peripheral vision where you still notice movements very easily.
@acharge #1. Curling bombs consume just as much ink as splat bombs or suction bombs do. #2. The sploosh can kill faster than other weapons because it is a 3HKO with high firerate. #3. I am NOT in a lower rank, I am in S+ 1. And in those ranks I dont get shot out of the sky very often, though sometimes I do, but most of the time I am fine. #4. I am not a flanker, so I dont play it sneaky, I play aggressively, so this problem does not apply to me.

This is really helpful. Would you (or anyone) have many tips on not getting titled? Whenever I lose (whether it's because of a DC, bad team composition, or just out skilled), I rage... hardcore. Currently I have destroyed 3 joy cons and a pro controller, damaged the joy con grip, and made dents in furniture and a door. I'm taking a week off from playing right now too cool off because being angry because of losses are definitely not good for me or anyone I'm playing with. I don't want to stop playing Splatoon 2 because it's legit my favorite game on the Switch and I do still find some aspects very fun. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. The only real thing you can do is get a LAN adapter. Another thing is, in the internet settings of the Switch, you'll see a value named MTU. It should be set to 1400 by default, but I would change it to 1500, which is a more universal standard.
Honestly for me just keep an eye on your surroundings and team so you know where to help and always go for the objective even if you might die it buys time I hate when I see teammates backing away from the incoming tower or blindly getting smacked by a bomb and also just help your teammates out sometimes by helping if they’re on tower and you see a slosher try to kill them also use those ink things where to travel in them to throw burst bombs while in them like on moray towers just go to the end and just keep spamming burst bombs until it’s rush out that’s what I do sometimes. Last dont squid flop cause a rivalryjust causes you to bounty hunt some one and if you get killed by them randomly they can be a pain unless it’s near end and it’s almost a ko and last remember to always booyah back
I don't think I want hammerhead bridge to come back. No doubt its better than shellendorf but in order to really pressure the opponents on that stage you have to walk across the grates to get there which makes it obvious for the opponents to take you down. As a slayer it just really triggers me. I feel Skipper is a good stage because it kind of suits every role.
I disagree with your point about how “anger” makes you a worse gamer. It depends on how you channel it. If you use that anger to fuel a more tryhard, focused mindset, then it can be a good thing. Apathy and saying “meh” about losing is the most damaging mindset imo. You’re retreating inward and letting the rest of your teammates down, instead of potentially fueling their success.
when you say "competitive"... how does a person join/do that? are there communities to join teams? I'm only A rank, but I show no signs of slowing my climb, I've only had the game for three months... I don't know where/how to find a team or friends.
Jordan Is The best I think of really depends if you have played on other consoles then probably pro for better feel and you get a bigger view on screen but handheld I would feel weird using motion controls
