This was amazing. Very well explained. Not too rushed and no information overload. My shoulders feel really good after this. I would love more mobility exercise videos in the future! It really is an interesting topic that doesn’t get enough attention. Thanks so much for this video and for all your other videos. Keep up the great work Bre and Flo ❤️
By far one of my favorite TH-cam channels. It crazy how much improvement to my overall health I've notice since incorporating yoga into my fitness routines.
I recently injured my left shoulder while sparring at Jiu-jitsu and this has helped my recovery. I have had a numbness in my index finger as a result of my injury and this is helping to open the shoulder and reduce the numbness. Thanks for the video
I've had issues with my shoulder for over a year do to BJJ-training. I've tried different strength exercises and professional physical therapy, but it did not sufficiently address the issue. After only a few sessions i've noticed huge improvement and are now able to perform BJJ sessions with almost no pain, and with a greater range of motion. Thanks for your videos, they are really helpful!
Thank you, Your program is wonderful ,I have been following you and your wife for a year. Keep it going ,Have a Blessed ,Beautiful day ! Your family, Thank you all
Wonderful! I have been using so many of your videos and I love them and appreciate you both so much. As a pianist/piano teacher who sits a lot and the “front loading” of playing the piano….this exercise has me feeling so free and comfortable. Thank you, again.
You seem to know exatly what I need! I just had neck surgery and need to rehab mobility in my left shoulder! You two are a godsend. thank you for all that you do. Peace, Love, and Graittude

The gratitude is all mine. Flo, my shoulders need this, and I truly appreciate your clear instructions and delivery. I feel like you just gave me a life raft. Loved it, thank you! 💗☮
This was very intense, but my shoulder felt wonderful after wards. Adding the pulling exercise will counter balance the yoga position and improve my posture at work. Thank you for bringing to us high quality content. I am very proud to support you on Patreon.
Dancing / working with a difficult hyper mobile shoulder but trying to gain the strength and stability to keep it healthy. Totally will be using these tools throughout my practice. Woohoo!!! Thank you!
Chiropractors scare me and I've been abusing my body in the weight room for over a year now... Here's to hoping these videos help solve a lot of the clicking going on in my body... Thanks for everything (:
Second time I'm trying this and this time I found a thick cardboard carton that worked well in terms of height and firmness. Feels great after finishing. It's like Flo loosened a very tight belt I wasn't aware was tied around my shoulders. Superb detailed instructions too. Thanks, Flo and Bre for recording and sharing this.
Hey guys.. Thank you so much for all your videos.. Thanks to you both that I've become a yoga person from being a gym person. I've one suggestion. If you can put all the mobility videos under one tab.. Like you've for yoga for men tab.. This will be very helpful. Thanks so much. Please keep spreading the goodness that's inherent in each of us living being 😊
you mean like the mobility training playlist we have on the front page of our channel, in the description of this video as well as in the first pinned comment from us on this video? just in case that is not enough here you go again bit.ly/3ylMADn 😉🙏
This is marvelous. Down dog tends to bother me. New to gymnast rings, heavily considering dropping them, but now I found this. Who knows. Another round.

Hey can I request you to post yoga for strength for each body part like we work out in the gym.. Biceps, triceps, chest, legs, back.. 15-20 min short videos. But super loaded workout..
of course you can request free videos... we already have this, please browse the channel before requesting videos. see here bit.ly/3k5s7f0 and here bit.ly/2VgrMPm
Thank you, Flo, this was very useful! Quick question, when you push into the block, do you do it in a way such as to open and push the shoulder? I found myself maybe pushing from the lower arm more and instictively protecting the shoulder from opening too much. Does this sound right? I presume not if the whole point is to open the shoulder.
Thank you for the video! The body keeps score. The mobility in my right shoulder is high and my left shoulder is very limited. What would you recommend I do? Work on the left shoulder a lot more and then work on both?
Thanks for the video Flow. I did this twice in 4 days and felt some numbness in fingers on both hands, especially at the time of waking up. Is that normal?
Hey so l did this because I have severe shoulder pain, they feel blocked and I get nasty pumps in my arms so bad that when I carry a backpack, my pumping veins will hurt severely. That being said I found myself to actually have an incredible mobility in my shoulders apparently, as I was able to stack three big yoga cushions to extend my arm about double as high as shown in the video. If Mobility isn't my issue, do you have any idea about what else in my shoulder area could cause these issues?
this is quite normal. we suggest you let the one arm catch up and then continue with both to increase the ROM. there is also a individual limit for range of motion which is very different for every body so there will be a point some day where you reach your limit (compression) and both shoulders will stay there. it can also be that this natural limit is not the same for both shoulders. most of us are far away from that though so keep doing the work as described in the video and this comment. great question!
I'm fighting a shoulder surgery that made my left shoulder super tight. Am I correct in thinking that I should only do this on my tight side till it evens out?
Thank you! I am finding that my forearms are on fire during the block work (mostly extensors - distal). Must be a connection between shoulder immobility?
Make sure your actively isolating the shoulders. The forearms are pressing down but should not tense up too much. From the principle of irradiation there is however some engagement. Try a couple more rounds, it’s often a neurological issue where you don’t have the neural drive yet to isolate and control this certain movement and or angle ✌️
Love the lessons but the constant repetition of the same things it’s sometimes too much I believe we all understand the first time and makes harder when we keep earring the same thing over and over to relax and focus because it becomes distracting
*Open up those shoulders! ✌️ More mobility training: **bit.ly/3ylMADn*
Man, how are you so ripped? Do you lift weights or just all body weight?
I have answered my own question. I found the video where you talk on this subject. My mistake!

Very excited for this one! I have been working on your patreon handstand program and definitely need improvement on this.
this will help open the shoulders more in your handstand
This is marvelous. Down dog tends to bother me. New to gymnast rings, heavily considering dropping them, but now I found this. Who knows. Another round.
Rings are amazing in addition to body weight movement. Keep it up!
Great mobility video Big like 💪💪👍👍👍

@@BreatheAndFlow I've been doing these classes for a while now.. So thought if you could post more videos like the pulse series..
Gracias!!!!!
fluiiiiiiid af🤩
I'll do this weekend thank you. By the way i have to stench after cycling i ask you class for this kind of yoga.
Any class from the beginner playlist. Or the specific classes we have after any workout or training.
This good! Now all were missing is spine mobility!
coming! also this is just one for the shoulders, the options are limitless and more will come over the months and years.
Feel like there should be a chapter at 13:30. When I come back to do the exercise(already warmed up), I like to start from there.
🙌 another great workout 💪
Nice focused practice:)
This was amazingly effective. My mobility has already increased. Almost all discomfort has gone... thank you.
Thanks for sharing this amazing video. a quick question, do i keep my shoulderblads down or should i elevate them while I am doing the exercises?
Thank you, Flo, this was very useful!

If one arm goes higher than the other: Should you use a higher block for that one, og wait for the other arm to catch up?

Loved it! Wondaful class and such a great stretch. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏😊
it's a lot more than a stretch, strength training for the joint!
I'm fighting a shoulder surgery that made my left shoulder super tight. Am I correct in thinking that I should only do this on my tight side till it evens out?
The front side of my thoracic cage and ribs hurt after this one!
Thank you!

@@BreatheAndFlow thanks for the reply!
nice
❤️
When my arm is on the blocks, should I keep my elbows locked? Or is a small bit of bend there okay?
just keep the arms straight
🙏🏻❤️
Can i do this with a newly injured shoulder ?
Of course not. If you’re injured rest and start to move in a holistic way again as soon as possible.
wow, my cervical pain feels better
see a structural integration therapist (rolfing or anatomy trains), because pain is the signal of your body telling you something is not right!
@@BreatheAndFlow i will surely do that, thanks.
Is it possible to do both hands at a time?
You’ll get more interdependence when doing them separately, but you can try and see how it goes 🤙
Doing this cuz i have a intersubstance tendon injury from bicycling a lot, lol
Seems like reducing bicycling is the cure not this exercise maybe? 🙏🏽
I am second 😅
:))

exactly what my Shoulders were asking about 🦥.. thank you
