Hi, I would like to ask for your advice. I got Marco Deck 2 up and running and defined various hotkeys. I have only one problem and that is with the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl, Alt. I would need to make them so that they can be held for a very long time. unfortunately I can't do it. When I press Ctrl, it only happens as one quick Tap and cannot be held for a long time. Would you please know if there is a way to solve it, to set it up? Long cklick doesn't work for me. Otherwise, thank you for your informative videos, especially with Variables. Thank you Maila

Hey, you can download icon packs using the Extension Store. There is a second button on the left side now for Icon Packs. If you click that, it'll show you what's available. If you want to make your own, simply edit any button, click the area to set the icon, and then hit the + to start a custom pack. Thank you for this informative video. Can you run Macro Deck locally on the computer that is being controlled? Basically a desktop action hub accessed from the target computer. I suppose you could use the web client from the local machine but that seems a bit kludgy.
Hey, thanks for watching 😁 Yeah I believe that's the only way to do it (and how I control it in VR). The "web" client runs connections locally on your computer. Anyway, last time I checked, it was that way. It might be a little kludgy for now, but it does work fine with no downsides as far as I can see. You can also download the web client as a PWA (Progressive Web App), FYI.
When I opened it for the first time, there were no icons and no obvious way how to generate a keypress. Windows Utils plugin seems the right one, when you want to imitate a keyboard shortcut.
Yep, that would be the correct plugin for that use. There are plenty of other plugins that extend the functionality of this program as well. Be sure to browse through the rest of the extensions 😃

Yeah, it is windows only for now. There are plans to make it very flexible in regard to OS but those plans take a lot of time and so there's no timetable on when that'll happen unfortunately 😕

You just add the plugin and then select the variables you want to bring in. That particular plugin doesn't have any actions. Hope that helps!
