Love french toast! I made your french toast casserole recipe and we love it. I have never tried sour dough french toast but i do like sour dough bread!
Oh my gosh, I have a recipe for a buttermilk syrup that would go so well with this French toast. You can add coconut extract to it that makes it even more to die for. I’m going to have to make them together this weekend. Never thought to do French toast in the air fryer and now I’m so happy. We discovered that garlic bread in the air fryer is the only way to go as well, so this totally makes sense. Thanks for such a fun new air fryer recipe! Keep them coming!
Buttermilk Syrup serving size: 2 Tbsp. servings: 22 ½ cup butter 1 ½ cups granulated sugar 1 tsp. light corn syrup ¾ cup buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. vanilla or coconut extract 1. Mix together the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and buttermilk in a saucepan (bigger is better because it will bubble up a lot at the end) and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 2. While the mixture is boiling, add the baking soda and vanilla extract. When adding the baking soda, mixture will bubble and rise quickly. 3. Pour hot syrup over pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
My husband I love sourdough French toast! We just had it the other night as breakfast for supper. I'm going to try it in the air fryer next time! Thanks!

Best French toast I ever had to date was something called freezer French toast. It’s prepared the night before, frozen and baked the day after using day old, sliced Italian loaf bread. The result was crispy on the outside and absolutely delicious.

I tried this recipe today and it’s ✨perfect✨ I’ve always struggled with soggy French toast and this fixes all those issues & is also healthier because you are not frying it, thank you ❤ (also this recipe has the perfect amount of egg mixture with no wastage!)

This is great. I always worry about making sure French toast is cooked all the way through. This solves that issue.
