I’m going to have to make them together this weekend. Never thought to do French toast in the air fryer and now I’m so happy. We discovered that garlic bread in the air fryer is the only way to go as well, so this totally makes sense. Thanks for such a fun new air fryer recipe! Keep them coming!
Buttermilk Syrup serving size: 2 Tbsp. servings: 22 ½ cup butter 1 ½ cups granulated sugar 1 tsp. light corn syrup ¾ cup buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. vanilla or coconut extract 1. Mix together the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and buttermilk in a saucepan (bigger is better because it will bubble up a lot at the end) and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 2. While the mixture is boiling, add the baking soda and vanilla extract. When adding the baking soda, mixture will bubble and rise quickly. 3. Pour hot syrup over pancakes, waffles, or french toast.

Thank you for your recipe! Funny my dad you use the flavors that you talked about but he’d ad a pinch of salt and garlic powder!! He’d make them nice and crispy and add the butter and real maple syrup. Believe it or not they were awesome!!!

I tried this recipe today and it’s ✨perfect✨ I’ve always struggled with soggy French toast and this fixes all those issues & is also healthier because you are not frying it, thank you ❤ (also this recipe has the perfect amount of egg mixture with no wastage!)
It’s strange how in 2 different countries one recipe can be so vastly different. This seems like such a sweet recipe ( higher ratio of milk , cinnamon , icing sugar and maple syrup) Were as here in Ireland it is very much a savoury dish .We use just a dash of milk ,black pepper and salt to taste and is delicious with bread from a batch loaf 😋.

I have a new oven that is a convection/ air fryer as well as regular oven. I have the air fryer basket. how much extra time do you suggest adding since I have a much larger area than the counter top air fryers?
Whenever they say freeze with parchment in between, I always freeze flat on a silicone padded cookie sheet and THEN put in a freezer bag with parchment in between. 💖🌞🌵😷

Get you a copper pan you barely need any butter. I am telling you you need a teeny tiny bit in it!
For French toast I use brioche and if I have old sourdough it's a winner
