    RECIPE: preppykitchen....
This French toast breakfast casserole is so flavorful and a family favorite. Whenever it’s baking in the oven, the warming notes from the cinnamon lures the entire family into the kitchen. It’s the ideal way to use up leftover stale bread that you may have lying around the kitchen. Plus, it’s hands-off as you don’t have to flip the bread in the pan, making it a lot easier to feed a crowd.

This was my favorite video thus far on your channel. Not only does this look like a yummy recipe but, I appreciate the candid and more transparent nature of cooking/baking. We have spills, missteps and bloopers galore however, made with love, meals for ourselves and/or loved ones come out perfect 🥰 .

Years ago, family found a recipe in a farming magazine for blueberry french toast casserole, very similar to this. Day old bread cubes soaked in a mixture of a dozen eggs, vanilla, milk and maple syrup, topped with blueberries and cubes of cream cheese tucked throughout. It also came with a recipe for a blueberry syrup and it's still a family favorite to this day.

@@suzannehayes5793 it's very dense, but it's amazing. One of the best things about it is that even if that you kinda just toss in enough ingredients to fill the pan with no real measurements and bake until the center's not jiggly, it never disappoints.

This was DA BOMB! I made it with eggnog instead of milk and let the bread mixtures sit overnight. Also, when prepping the pan I doubled the cinnamon sugar mixture and put some in the bottom of the dish as well as on top - but needed to cook more like 45 minutes.
    Totally rocked everyone’s socks off!

I love bread pudding. My nan made the best ever, a dense, fruity little number (somewhat like her) but over here in NZ, bread pudding is just egg custard poured over slices of bread, not the same thing at all. Also, what is a 'stick' of butter your end? In grams? Many recipes I see talk about a stick of butter but ours is a brick of butter marked in 25g slots. I have to say I LOVE your videos, and your sense of humour, thank God for you!

Made this for dinner. My husband gives it 2 thumbs up. 👍👍
Next time we make it, I'm mixing in small dots of cream cheese.
    This is an AMAZING recipe!
