I feel like everyone is overlooking a simple explanation of way the mimic program would use the mini games. It's just collecting data of human problem solving and movements in order to convincingly be able to pass as as a person. It's crucial information needed if a completely virtual entity wanted to appear irl.
One thing I just noticed, who asks the question "what makes you so special?" It's Baby, Moon, and Mystic Hippo. All of them have specific ties to princess quest 4. Mystic Hippo gives you the coin, moon takes glitchtrap, and you go through the sister location elevator.
Since Ruin came out, we have been theorizing that Vanessa and Gregory have been working together. Wouldn't it make sense that if Vanessa had a virtual presence as Vanny Gregory could have hacked that into a Glitchtrap anti-virus? I feel like Vanny and Vanessa have to be separated at this point, right?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the story Candy Cadet tells about the girl almost eaten by the witch and left with a scar, mostly about the part when she returns older and wiser only to fall into a trap. Is it possible that after Security Breach Vanessa returned to deal with whatever was left of Glitchtrap/the mimic virus and again fell victim to it, becoming Vanny once again?
@@momojamojamo3197 A problem with that is that in the Candy Cadet story, the woman gets locked in the oven for trusting the "young boy" which, if Vanessa is the woman and the witch is Mimic/Glitchtrap, it would only make sense for the boy to be Gregory, which implies that Gregory freed Vanessa from Glitchtrap/Mimic, left the pizzaplex with her and Freddy and eventually tricks her again to become Vanny once more, which, just seems kind of convoluted to me? If that's the case just don't make princess quest the canon ending to SB in RUIN if you're just gonna undo the story from that ending six months later.

When I first saw that ending, it struck me as Vanny killing Glitchtrap to rise above him.. like a Sith apprentice killing his master. That's why she stays the same. She's still brainwashed and evil, but now enough so that she wants to be the master Whether that's still supported by evidence I don't know
I interpreted the second ending as the Vanny Personality betraying and taking the place of the Glitchtrap AI. Like, Vanny was just playing along, waiting for the right moment to take over and become the true mimic/Afton. It's sorta like that sci-fi trope of all the clones thinking their the original/the superior version. If Vanny was just jealous, I don't see her actually harming Glitchtrap (even if it's just a piece) like in the ending. If she was that loyal she would just try a roundabout way to get Cassie's Dad to get killed some other way, unless she's a Yandere personality lol. It also makes sense why the achievement is called "Consequences", creating Vanny was what ultimately killed Glitchtrap. Atleast, that was my first initial thought on the matter.
Remember the Base Code of the Mimic program is Childish in and of itself. It was first based on David, a Child and then the Software was loaded into Fnaf Virtual Experience, which is based on Unalive Ghost Children and a "unaliver" who likes to dance around in costume. So VANNY would be like that.
I feel the Princess Quest ending is more symbolic. Vanny crushes the virus and frees Vanessa from its clutches, Vanny then waves goodbye and disappears into the darkness, presumably leaving for good along with glitchtrap. Idk, maybe I'm under-thinking lmao
The ominous music,leaving us to rot and creepy red eyes fading into the distance makes this feel more threatening than that. It doesn’t feel like it indicates someone being freed

If the Mimic1 program indeed duplicates itself to influence someone's mind, but still needs a digital connection in a virtual space (IE Princess Quest and BB's Air Adventure) to keep the anchor on the enslaved individual, who's to say that by beating the games, you simply just cut the connection between the Mimic1 copy and the individual? The copy may still exist. Vanny could still be a thing, a mix of the Mimic and Vanessa's personality. That could be an interesting idea, but let's see where the story goes from here. We do not have all the pieces of this puzzle yet.
Either she wants to be his only servant or Vanny is basically like MXES but inside of help wanted 2. A protocol to stop glitchtrap from leaving the digital space again.

I like ID's theory that we play as Jeremy from Help Wanted 1. The Vanny mask being the "halloween mask" he cut off his face. Candy Cadet mentions the little girl (probably an analogy for the player character i.e. Jeremy) surviving their encounter with the witch (i.e. glitchtrap) but gaining a scar, and coming back to face the witch later (he survived by cutting the mask off, leaving a scar. He then comes back for revenge in HW2)
Might just be my need to make characters suffering suffer more, but I like to think that Bonnie Bully (one of the instigators of the Bite of 83) is Jeremy Fitzgerald (the Bite of 87 victim), Jeremy from FNaF VR (the one who cut his own face off) and Cassie's dad. Three scarring and traumatizing moments of his life were started because of the FNaF franchise, and yet despite (or maybe because) of all that he has a deep-seeded infatuation with collecting its merchandise. Clues to his own pain, the other victims' pain, it all lies there somewhere, somehow, he's onto something, he feels it. Unfortunately he feels it again when his mind is trapped outside of his body, either in a slightly-mangled Map Bot or that claw machine somewhere between VANNI cyber-space and his body...

But it also seems to connect another weird thing; you can't leave. You're pretty much always cursed to come back to Fazbear's. You're coming back as a charred zombie or through your trauma, you can't leave. And if this was not intended, maybe it SHOULD have been because that would have been more interesting to write through everything. That would explain the recurring themes and characters. That would make it make sense very easily. So just make him Jeremy anyway. We know Scott was intrigued when people mentioned that a bite to the frontal lobe may not be fatal. This is likely from his notes.
I feel that bit about needing a fidget. If I don't HAVE one, I'll end up unconsciously making one out of my clothes or something when I'm focusing on something. Also, I kinda have preferred phone interviews cuz then I can fidget all I want cuz I'm not on camera.
The idea that the player is "spreading" Glitchtrap got me thinking: maybe that's how the virtual copy of the Pizzaplex got created. The V.A.N.N.I. mask could be scanning the layout of the Pizzaplex while the player is completing each task.
I think the "Memory ending" with Vanny destroying Glitchtrap might end with the player character (I think it's Cassie's dad too) left in the vending machine because there is no saving him. With Vanessa, she somehow was able to connect herself to the Princess quest games so that if someone played and beat them, she could be saved from Glitchtrap. We haven't seen anything like that for Cassie's dad, so maybe the only way to truly and completely get rid of Gitchtrap is to destroy it in everyone it has infected. Vanessa is still able to live after destroying it due to Princess Quest, but Cassie's Dad doesn’t have that back-up. So to get rid of Gitchtrap (by destroying or hiding it) means that the same will have to happen to Cassie’s Dad. I think he (to some extent) knew that he would have to die or be trapped to stop Glitchtrap. The king saying “its a fair trade” might be about him. He trades himself and his freedom to end Glitchtrap. If he is Bonny Bro he may have done the trade to atone for his part in the Crying Child’d death and to try and keep Cassie safe from a potential but serious danger.
Both Endings could be Cannon, He'd just have to be freed from glitch trap's control and then directly confront the Mimic which ends up with him embedded into Map bot.
Do you think that lefty could be a refurbished carnie? This is a very long shot, im talkin 100 yard foot kick, but its just some fun thoughts that could conjure up something in the community. If you look at burnt carnie's model you can just barely see that his right eye is more withered. You may have to squint. But say that at that time his right eye got replaced because it was the most damaged of the two, after decades of collecting dust and rotting away, the untouched eye could have decayed to the point of becoming black. As Henry repared carnie to become lefty, the orginal eye may have stayed or been replaced with a new black eye for a unique touch. A more realistic approach could be the lefty's design is INSPIRED by his burnt orginal. The eye rotted eye i just mentioned could have inspired the black eye detail. One specific character of that I think could drive home this theory is the color. Burnt carnie is a muted brown with white char accents. But if you were to scrape all of burnt plastic off, you be left with a black tarnished metal. Notice that lefty is not solid black, but a metalic, gun metal black. I think it is possibe that lefty is either a repaired version of carnie, with it's new design based on the chared scraps of the original, or lefty was a completely different animatronic who's build was inspired by the remains of his counterpart. By the location of Fazer Blast and hint we see, I think that carnie was most likely a part of Fall Fest(most likely the 1970 event) if so, do you think it's possible that carnie was one of Henry's first animatronics. That was a whole decade before our first look at fredbears. Whether or not Fredbear's opened before 1983. I highly doubt that it was an establishment before 1970. I noticed that there is no sign of Freddy’s or Fredbear's on the poster. Which leads me to believe that this fall fest may have predated everything. The running theory is that the mediocre melodies were his first animatronics, made to rip off Freddy’s fame. But being that we see an animatronic a decade before that, that closely resembles one of his final animatronics. It really seems that carnie could be his first. Here's some food for thought. Henry has been deemed a copycat in the early timeline for the mediocre melodies. But if he made his first BEAR animatronic at a children's theme event in 1970, is he really the copycat? If William stole the idea and made Fredbear's, and Fredbear's became as big as it did. No one would bat an eye at a small carnival with a simple bear animatronic. I don't know if I like this idea, but I'm just throwing everything I got to see what sticks. Is it possible that William set the carnival on fire to one, prevent it from becoming more successful. And two, to take that idea and reuse it for himself. I don't think he was pure evil at this point, or really evil at all. But it's still just a thought. I don't really think that lefty is a remade carnie. I think it's possible that the design could have been inspired by the withered design. But I doubt that they put that much thought into a connection like that. I am pretty confident, though, that carnie was most likely the first and that Henry was never really the copycat. But more so, tried to reclaim the ideas stolen from him later on after William's fame.
The only thing that bothers me about your conclusion is that as far as we know, Help Wanted 2 is in between SB and RUIN. If that is the case this theory would say Vanny was never freed post SB, and that messes with the current theory that the Princess Quest ending is the cannon ending of SB. Basically for this to be true, we would need to go back and look at what ending is actually cannon in SB.
Honestly I think it still fits right because in some cases it takes years for someone to shake mental conditioning sometimes a life time. And if this takes place between both she could be in the process of leaving her old persona behind but is having troubles with it
Technically, according to Candy Cadet, she WAS freed but went back in for revenge. It depends how you interpret that, though. Matpat took it as being “freed” of full control (for example, in original HW and SB tapes when she was lucid enough to be searching how to stop mind control) but still under enough control that, despite trying to escape and stop everything, she went under control again (probably bc of GGY) until being freed after Princess Quest. However, in my opinion, it can also be interpreted as her being freed during the PQ ending, and then after seeing all the chaos that had occurred she went back willingly in attempts to take down Glitchtrap / the Mimic from the inside. If we assume that’s true, then everything from SB can be true while still leaving room for Vanny to have gone mad with revenge or who knows what after going back in attempting to fix things, since she would have willingly put on the mask again.
Why would be Princess Quest the cannon ending tho? The burntrap ending is the one listed as "True Ending" in the game files. And besides, the whole Pizzaplex had been tore apart by an earthquake... Which causes The Blob in the burntrap ending only. It seemed obvious to me.
@@patonnight I thought the Burntrap ending was cannon too, then RUIN happened. RUIN confuses things by heavily implying that the Princess Quest ending happened to some degree. The Princess Quest III arcade machine is beaten, Freddy is found in Fazerblast without his head, Vanny is nowhere to be seen, and it's the only ending that doesn't have a collectible comic to represent it. Thus most people believe that's the cannon ending now.

Then he left, and lied down in an alley for three decades until he was hired for Horrid Henry Danger Stickman’s restaurant. However he was a test dummy for all the things Aubergine Man Jr (Michael Schmidt) bought. It planned to escape the restaurant when it overheard Henry’s plans. Helpy planned on bringing back Faz Ent to screw everyone over and it did. It’s the true origin story.
Vanny saying “she” could be reffering to tape girl, because she was the one to start the glitch trap outbreak and tried to contain it, vanny is finishing what “she” started.

The deleted voice lines could be vanny talking about vanessa since they are two different personalities and wouldn't see eachother as the same person. So when the voice line says SHE it could be one personality talking about the other one. You actually see this with people who have MPD they reffer to the other personalities as different people.
@@diskonnekt1313 my cousin has MPD so I have experience with dealing with people that have it so can understand things about it a bit better than most. With MPD each personality has their own name, their own personality and see themselves as a different person, so will usually refer to the other as he or she or they( if there is several) or by name.
okay as someone w DID , i have to make a minor correction here MPD is considered an outdated term (as DID and OSDD + other variants are the more accurate descriptors), and rather than "personalities," they're referred to as alters. this isn't to discredit your interpretation at all since i agree with it, but i've been seeing people call it MPD a lot recently
The way this theory parallels the events in ruin are very interesting! Casie and Jeremy try to solve a problem or save someone, just for that person that they where trying to help, an ally, to turn on them and leave them for dead. This theme of followers of Afton becoming “heroes” (what even are the intentions of Greg and Vanessa) and well intentioned people becoming “villains” (either that or trapped forever) it’s very interesting, and we’ll have to wait to see if it is really there or it it is a coincidence

I doubt William killed the two who stood by and let it happen but ignored the one who actively helping Mike put him in the jaws of Fredbear. It could be less impressive,saying that he’s simply the last one left. Mike was scooped and put to rest in pizza sim fire (probably) and maybe the other two died of natural causes. Of course,it is possible that Bonnie saved his life. William is a massive Bonnie fan and Cassie’s dad also seems to be a massive Bonnie fan. Assuming the two bonded over that prior to the bite of ‘83,William might have found it in his heart to spare the Bonnie bully

This theory can also help explain the all staff meeting. Vanny saw what Glitchtrap was doing and decided to prevent it from happening by killing all human staff and replacing it with robots, something the virus could use, but not in the same way. However, someone could have snuck under the radar, such as a low class FazBear technician, and given glitchtrap another servant. (Or else most of HW2 takes place before ruin which is unlikely, but technically possible)
Just so you know, at one point Vanny was supposed to be the one giving us the memory poppets (her arms would appear instead of Glitchtrap's), which might suggest that she's the one orchestrating Glitchtrap's defeat. Alongside this, it doesn't particularly make much sense for Vanessa to still be serving the Mimic after Security Breach, as the Redemption ending, in which Vanessa and the Pizzaplex are freed from its control, is heavily implied to be canon. Regardless of my criticisms though, this was still a pretty well-made video!

10:07 ....Okay, this might be crazy, but the tone of the voice reminds me a lot of when Baby would give us instructions on SL. Not to say Elizabeth or Baby are back though, but it certainly provides another paralel for the connection some people think Vanessa and Elizabeth have.
Cut lines could've possibly been multiple people, one of which being Mystic Hippo? Another thing is that maybe Vanny is trying to be the ultimate bad guy, destroying those who get in her way, or something.
just running with the vanni theory here. that would therefore mean that that is a false ending to the game, because vanni is no where to be seen in ruin, however glitchtrap is still in the computer. but then cassie will never get the mask, as depicted in ruin. they contradict each other. but if I'm being totally fair glitchtrap can still be conecteted to the interface while being in the real world. but then what is the purpose of having cassie come in and free the mimic? when he can do it himself. my only solution to this is glitchtrap is indeed fighting the mimic for control, but till he had a body he couldn't make executive decisions for the company, meanwhile we know the mimic simply wants to escape and live as a normal person. thus kind of repeating the cycle of William and baby over again.... though with a creation from that newer inventor.
Honestly, I don't think Vanny crushing Glitchtrap in her hand is a sign she is destroying it. I am taking it as them merging together because the princess quest games are a trap. Though I am the guy who thinks that the person we are playing as is Michael in HW2 from all the FNAF 4 and FNAF 6 references, Circus Baby saying "you should have known I would find you" in the second fazzerblast game, the memory dolls being related to the MCI, Candy Cadet's second story(The cabin/oven being the pizzeria, Helpi being the boy, and Glitchtrap/mimic being the witch), and in the helpy first aid mini game as the nights get harder talk about the salvaging of an animatronic. There is also the drawing in the Helpy first aid minigame about Helpy escaping the pizzeria. Cassie's dad and Bonnie bro also makes sense especially if you could place him as the night guard in FNAF 2, since candy cadet's second story mention this was the second time they are dealing with the witch. Though I am only guessing that the witch is the mimic or glitchtrap when it could be the owner of Freddy's LLC. Interesting take on the antagonist of the games.
Seeing the take the vanni mask poster in the backroom makes me wonder if matpats old theory about the cult of glitchtrap will come to fruition (I honestly hope it does), a army of class v technician with VANNI security mask that could possibly make him a new animatronic body, it’s honestly a really cool concept that I think could happen, I also think that maybe VANNI works like a hivemind with all the security mask being caonnecredbtk the vanni network and perhaps she isn’t a single person but rather the mask herself that can possess anyone with a VANNI mask.

But; vannys eyes in that end scene, they have the same yellow to orange glow as the mimic bot, but then they fade back to the suits red colour. It could be a trick of the lighting, but something about it is just _so_ weird. My crazy idea is that 'Vanny' is an extra mimic skelington Vannessa programed to help her (SB Burn ending, theres the de masked Vanny/Vanessa and then another on the roof) My other idea is that its representing the mimic program being purged from her.
I don't think it checks out, but it occurred to me that you could see Cassie's Dad as being what the Mimic is copying. If you collect merch that expands Fazbear's power ever outward, then it consumes you for power and expands outward. If you reflect on the past, then it doesn't expand, leaving it vulnerable to be consumed itself.
I feel like something we learn in help wanted 2 is that helpi is the big bad and it might be older than anything we've seen so far escaping a fire at the carnival location that may or may not have been an attempt to destroy it and perhaps even William afton could be a reluctant/or even a willing follower to helpi itself?
To further support your statement of PQ4 being a trial that Glitchtrap has designed is that when it’s time to take the sword from the arcade it’s says it’s an (alpha) build. So we’ve yet to see the final build of the game.
I'd like to throw in the possibility that Help Wanted 2 may take place shortly before Security Breach. my strongest prove would be the Captain Foxy ride that fits to the Kid's Cove at the Pizzaplex. It would also explain why Glamrock Bonnie and Montgomery are absent.
but what about glam roxie and chica? in multiple minigames we see their shattered and broken versions, the damage that they took during Security Breach

One thing I feel like people aren't talking about/avoiding is MXES, What if Cassie's dad built it before the events of Help Wanted 2 and after being "uploaded" into the network via the map bot finds his way to MXES trying to stop and save his daughter as the MXES rabbit. Gives us that duality symbolism as well between Glitchtrap(evil) and Bonnie Bro/MXES(good)
i always thought glitchtrap does a mind transfer with his victim and that always confused me, like is he human now? but i think this ending is saying that glitchtrap dies after he switches, which since he's in your body, your body dies while your conscience is stuck forever digitally. Id like to believe vanny then puts another/main glitchtrap virus back in the network or something. also help wanted 1 ending is similar to the vanny ending in hp2, theyre both stuck staring out of a animatronic, surrounded by animatronics. its just hp2 has plushies instead
7:42 I’ve been playing the game with my nephew and we collected all the poppets for the Princess Quest ending first before finishing all the mini games and now the projector just has still shots from the beginning, from the old timey slide show taken from Pizza Sim, of the kids with the old Freddy animatronic. Someone finally has the same theory as me: Jeremy is Casey's dad and is actually the 'scarred' person mentioned by candy cadet coming back for revenge for Glitchtrap (and is led my Helpi/Vanny, but the "oven door" closes on them, releasing glitchtrap in the "normal" ending! I do think that that first ending with glitchtrap rising into the real world is an actual cannon ending instead of the Vanny ending or both. Also, I totally do the thing all the time where my hands need to be holding/figeting with something so I'll just grab any random nearby object 😂.
While I was watching this video I had this thought it’s completely unrelated but it’s about glamrock, Bonnie’s destruction I remember in one of your videos you were talking about how motive is a good thing to have in a theory, but I was thinking what is the motive for Vanny using Monty kill Bonnie is that she wanted to be glitchtrap only servant. What if he was trying to turn Bonnie into a glitchy trap slave it lines up as Bonnie is a rabbit and glitch trap seems to be part William, or at least trying to copy him so the rabbit theme would make sense. I think it’s as simple as people make it out to be: Vanny is destroying the last remains of Glitchtrap only to wave goodbye and fade away, never to be seen again. Because we know that Princess Quest ending is (mostly) canon, and if this game takes place in between Security Breach and Ruin then Vanessa is free of Glitchrap, Vanny can no longer take over however she isn’t gone. I think after the events of Security Breach, Vanessa was trying to turn Vanny into something good, and made the Vanni masks to help technicians work around the Pizzaplex, and continues to do so by appearing as Vanny in the digital world and ending Glitchtrap for good.
Remember Candy Cadet's story. The Witch gets the Woman to rest through the boy and they end up in the Oven. And the Witch "has her Meal". The Witch and Monster are both implied to be GLITCHTRAP and the MIMIC. This story implies the "Witch " got the Woman. Who is implied to be Vanessa.

It's a good theory, Rye, but I think that there's one big detail that you may be overlooking. The map bot. In the Helpi ending, we do see, in first person, the moment the map bot hands the mask over to Cassy. Also, Matt Patt pointed out in his latest HW2 theory that, if you look at the map bot in AR mode, you can see what looks like a brain and other organs INSIDE the bot. I think this suggests that Jeremy gets stuffed into it after he's attacked by the staff bots in the Helpi ending. If that holds true, I think it's more likely that Glitchtrap is more likely to be trying to get Jeremy out of the way, rather than freeing himself. Rather than typing out Matt Pat's entire theory, I'll just say he raises some good points and makes a very compelling case for them. I think there's definitely a lot of new questions raised by these endings and a lot of digging to do so we can draw connections to past cannon. I won't claim to know what's right here and I'm open to any interpretation at this point. I really just thought that detail about the map bot in RUIN was really cool and a very important one that your theory doesn't really address. I will say that the Vanni ending is confusing af and I don't have a lot to say about it right now so take this opinion for what it's worth. lol Love what you do here, Rye. Has anyone tried to map out the digital princess quest to a physical overlay of what we know the real world layout of the pizzaplex? Just curious if the would give a rough estimate of where we end up when canny makes the extraction
So I’ve got an out there theory, clearly Glitchtrap is, to an extent, the Mimic1 program, it speaks to us in HW1 with Tape Girl’s distorted voice and it’s likely the final tape is entirely fabricated or altered. However it is odd to me with the memories, your interpretation is very valid and interesting, but to me, I find it more likely that Glitchtrap witnessed the MCI and Charlotte to an extent. I’ve long believed that Glitchtrap is the combination of Afton and Mimic1, not being one or the other, but the hybrid between the two. That’s why Glitchtrap says very personal things, like I always come back, or wants to become Burntrap, because Glitchtrap is unique, it is better than Afton and Mimic, it is strangely human. Ruin Mimic is impatient and bratty, and argues with Helpi, while Glitchtrap is patient and cunning in a different way. I strongly believe Glitchtrap is Helpi in HW2 and Ruin. In Ruin it perfectly describes my idea of Glicthtrap, a cute manipulator with the eyes of the Mimic and the deep rooted veins of Afton, with it doing what it does to serve its own goals. If Mimic is Helpi, then why does it argue with him. “I took care of it Yea, with my help” So yea, this is what I’ve gotten, opinions are welcome
To me, I'm a Aftontrap theorist, most people think he's mimic, in a way I do as well sort of. I think Mimic is being used by Afton to lure Cassie because Vanessa is gone. Also a darker theory is that when the cut lines Vanessa said, "it's memories" and "only a piece of *his* code remains" gives me the idea that mimic cannot process proper memories. And plus, Mimic wasn't the person who killed the missing kids and doesn't have memories of the Bonnie Bro (Bonnie bully) killing Evan, Crying Child or whatever you wanna name him. Is it possible that after Security Breach Vanessa returned to deal with whatever was left of Glitchtrap/the mimic virus and again fell victim to it, becoming Vanny once again?
@@momojamojamo3197 A problem with that is that in the Candy Cadet story, the woman gets locked in the oven for trusting the "young boy" which, if Vanessa is the woman and the witch is Mimic/Glitchtrap, it would only make sense for the boy to be Gregory, which implies that Gregory freed Vanessa from Glitchtrap/Mimic, left the pizzaplex with her and Freddy and eventually tricks her again to become Vanny once more, which, just seems kind of convoluted to me? If that's the case just don't make princess quest the canon ending to SB in RUIN if you're just gonna undo the story from that ending six months later.

When I first saw that ending, it struck me as Vanny killing Glitchtrap to rise above him.. like a Sith apprentice killing his master. That's why she stays the same. She's still brainwashed and evil, but now enough so that she wants to be the master

I interpreted the second ending as the Vanny Personality betraying and taking the place of the Glitchtrap AI. Like, Vanny was just playing along, waiting for the right moment to take over and become the true mimic/Afton. It's sorta like that sci-fi trope of all the clones thinking their the original/the superior version. If Vanny was just jealous, I don't see her actually harming Glitchtrap (even if it's just a piece) like in the ending. If she was that loyal she would just try a roundabout way to get Cassie's Dad to get killed some other way, unless she's a Yandere personality lol. It also makes sense why the achievement is called "Consequences", creating Vanny was what ultimately killed Glitchtrap. Atleast, that was my first initial thought on the matter.
Remember the Base Code of the Mimic program is Childish in and of itself. It was first based on David, a Child and then the Software was loaded into Fnaf Virtual Experience, which is based on Unalive Ghost Children and a "unaliver" who likes to dance around in costume. So VANNY would be like that.
The thing is that interpretation sort of relies on the idea that Vanny is somehow separate from Vanessa

If the Mimic1 program indeed duplicates itself to influence someone's mind, but still needs a digital connection in a virtual space (IE Princess Quest and BB's Air Adventure) to keep the anchor on the enslaved individual, who's to say that by beating the games, you simply just cut the connection between the Mimic1 copy and the individual?
The copy may still exist. Vanny could still be a thing, a mix of the Mimic and Vanessa's personality.
That could be an interesting idea, but let's see where the story goes from here. We do not have all the pieces of this puzzle yet.

I like ID's theory that we play as Jeremy from Help Wanted 1. The Vanny mask being the "halloween mask" he cut off his face. Candy Cadet mentions the little girl (probably an analogy for the player character i.e. Jeremy) surviving their encounter with the witch (i.e. glitchtrap) but gaining a scar, and coming back to face the witch later (he survived by cutting the mask off, leaving a scar. He then comes back for revenge in HW2)

Might just be my need to make characters suffering suffer more, but I like to think that Bonnie Bully (one of the instigators of the Bite of 83) is Jeremy Fitzgerald (the Bite of 87 victim), Jeremy from FNaF VR (the one who cut his own face off) and Cassie's dad. Three scarring and traumatizing moments of his life were started because of the FNaF franchise, and yet despite (or maybe because) of all that he has a deep-seeded infatuation with collecting its merchandise. Clues to his own pain, the other victims' pain, it all lies there somewhere, somehow, he's onto something, he feels it. Unfortunately he feels it again when his mind is trapped outside of his body, either in a slightly-mangled Map Bot or that claw machine somewhere between VANNI cyber-space and his body...

But it also seems to connect another weird thing; you can't leave. You're pretty much always cursed to come back to Fazbear's. You're coming back as a charred zombie or through your trauma, you can't leave.
And if this was not intended, maybe it SHOULD have been because that would have been more interesting to write through everything. That would explain the recurring themes and characters. That would make it make sense very easily. So just make him Jeremy anyway.

I feel that bit about needing a fidget. If I don't HAVE one, I'll end up unconsciously making one out of my clothes or something when I'm focusing on something. Also, I kinda have preferred phone interviews cuz then I can fidget all I want cuz I'm not on camera.
The idea that the player is "spreading" Glitchtrap got me thinking: maybe that's how the virtual copy of the Pizzaplex got created. The V.A.N.N.I. mask could be scanning the layout of the Pizzaplex while the player is completing each task.
I think the "Memory ending" with Vanny destroying Glitchtrap might end with the player character (I think it's Cassie's dad too) left in the vending machine because there is no saving him. With Vanessa, she somehow was able to connect herself to the Princess quest games so that if someone played and beat them, she could be saved from Glitchtrap. We haven't seen anything like that for Cassie's dad, so maybe the only way to truly and completely get rid of Gitchtrap is to destroy it in everyone it has infected. Vanessa is still able to live after destroying it due to Princess Quest, but Cassie's Dad doesn’t have that back-up. So to get rid of Gitchtrap (by destroying or hiding it) means that the same will have to happen to Cassie’s Dad. I think he (to some extent) knew that he would have to die or be trapped to stop Glitchtrap. The king saying “its a fair trade” might be about him. He trades himself and his freedom to end Glitchtrap. If he is Bonny Bro he may have done the trade to atone for his part in the Crying Child’d death and to try and keep Cassie safe from a potential but serious danger.
Both Endings could be Cannon, He'd just have to be freed from glitch trap's control and then directly confront the Mimic which ends up with him embedded into Map bot.
Do you think that lefty could be a refurbished carnie? This is a very long shot, im talkin 100 yard foot kick, but its just some fun thoughts that could conjure up something in the community.
If you look at burnt carnie's model you can just barely see that his right eye is more withered. You may have to squint. But say that at that time his right eye got replaced because it was the most damaged of the two, after decades of collecting dust and rotting away, the untouched eye could have decayed to the point of becoming black. As Henry repared carnie to become lefty, the orginal eye may have stayed or been replaced with a new black eye for a unique touch.
A more realistic approach could be the lefty's design is INSPIRED by his burnt orginal. The eye rotted eye i just mentioned could have inspired the black eye detail.
One specific character of that I think could drive home this theory is the color. Burnt carnie is a muted brown with white char accents. But if you were to scrape all of burnt plastic off, you be left with a black tarnished metal. Notice that lefty is not solid black, but a metalic, gun metal black.
I think it is possibe that lefty is either a repaired version of carnie, with it's new design based on the chared scraps of the original, or lefty was a completely different animatronic who's build was inspired by the remains of his counterpart.
By the location of Fazer Blast and hint we see, I think that carnie was most likely a part of Fall Fest(most likely the 1970 event) if so, do you think it's possible that carnie was one of Henry's first animatronics. That was a whole decade before our first look at fredbears.
Whether or not Fredbear's opened before 1983. I highly doubt that it was an establishment before 1970. I noticed that there is no sign of Freddy’s or Fredbear's on the poster. Which leads me to believe that this fall fest may have predated everything.
The running theory is that the mediocre melodies were his first animatronics, made to rip off Freddy’s fame. But being that we see an animatronic a decade before that, that closely resembles one of his final animatronics. It really seems that carnie could be his first.
Here's some food for thought. Henry has been deemed a copycat in the early timeline for the mediocre melodies. But if he made his first BEAR animatronic at a children's theme event in 1970, is he really the copycat? If William stole the idea and made Fredbear's, and Fredbear's became as big as it did. No one would bat an eye at a small carnival with a simple bear animatronic.
I don't know if I like this idea, but I'm just throwing everything I got to see what sticks. Is it possible that William set the carnival on fire to one, prevent it from becoming more successful. And two, to take that idea and reuse it for himself. I don't think he was pure evil at this point, or really evil at all. But it's still just a thought.
I don't really think that lefty is a remade carnie. I think it's possible that the design could have been inspired by the withered design. But I doubt that they put that much thought into a connection like that.
I am pretty confident, though, that carnie was most likely the first and that Henry was never really the copycat. But more so, tried to reclaim the ideas stolen from him later on after William's fame.
The only thing that bothers me about your conclusion is that as far as we know, Help Wanted 2 is in between SB and RUIN. If that is the case this theory would say Vanny was never freed post SB, and that messes with the current theory that the Princess Quest ending is the cannon ending of SB. Basically for this to be true, we would need to go back and look at what ending is actually cannon in SB.
Honestly I think it still fits right because in some cases it takes years for someone to shake mental conditioning sometimes a life time. And if this takes place between both she could be in the process of leaving her old persona behind but is having troubles with it
Technically, according to Candy Cadet, she WAS freed but went back in for revenge. It depends how you interpret that, though. Matpat took it as being “freed” of full control (for example, in original HW and SB tapes when she was lucid enough to be searching how to stop mind control) but still under enough control that, despite trying to escape and stop everything, she went under control again (probably bc of GGY) until being freed after Princess Quest. However, in my opinion, it can also be interpreted as her being freed during the PQ ending, and then after seeing all the chaos that had occurred she went back willingly in attempts to take down Glitchtrap / the Mimic from the inside. If we assume that’s true, then everything from SB can be true while still leaving room for Vanny to have gone mad with revenge or who knows what after going back in attempting to fix things, since she would have willingly put on the mask again.
Why would be Princess Quest the cannon ending tho? The burntrap ending is the one listed as "True Ending" in the game files. And besides, the whole Pizzaplex had been tore apart by an earthquake... Which causes The Blob in the burntrap ending only. It seemed obvious to me.

@@patonnight I thought the Burntrap ending was cannon too, then RUIN happened. RUIN confuses things by heavily implying that the Princess Quest ending happened to some degree. The Princess Quest III arcade machine is beaten, Freddy is found in Fazerblast without his head, Vanny is nowhere to be seen, and it's the only ending that doesn't have a collectible comic to represent it. Thus most people believe that's the cannon ending now.

The deleted voice lines could be vanny talking about vanessa since they are two different personalities and wouldn't see eachother as the same person.
So when the voice line says SHE it could be one personality talking about the other one. You actually see this with people who have MPD they reffer to the other personalities as different people.

With MPD each personality has their own name, their own personality and see themselves as a different person, so will usually refer to the other as he or she or they( if there is several) or by name.

This theme of followers of Afton becoming “heroes” (what even are the intentions of Greg and Vanessa) and well intentioned people becoming “villains” (either that or trapped forever) it’s very interesting, and we’ll have to wait to see if it is really there or it it is a coincidence

Of course,it is possible that Bonnie saved his life. William is a massive Bonnie fan and Cassie’s dad also seems to be a massive Bonnie fan. Assuming the two bonded over that prior to the bite of ‘83,William might have found it in his heart to spare the Bonnie bully

This theory can also help explain the all staff meeting. Vanny saw what Glitchtrap was doing and decided to prevent it from happening by killing all human staff and replacing it with robots, something the virus could use, but not in the same way. However, someone could have snuck under the radar, such as a low class FazBear technician, and given glitchtrap another servant. (Or else most of HW2 takes place before ruin which is unlikely, but technically possible)

Just so you know, at one point Vanny was supposed to be the one giving us the memory poppets (her arms would appear instead of Glitchtrap's), which might suggest that she's the one orchestrating Glitchtrap's defeat. Alongside this, it doesn't particularly make much sense for Vanessa to still be serving the Mimic after Security Breach, as the Redemption ending, in which Vanessa and the Pizzaplex are freed from its control, is heavily implied to be canon. Regardless of my criticisms though, this was still a pretty well-made video!

just running with the vanni theory here. that would therefore mean that that is a false ending to the game, because vanni is no where to be seen in ruin, however glitchtrap is still in the computer. but then cassie will never get the mask, as depicted in ruin. they contradict each other. but if I'm being totally fair glitchtrap can still be conecteted to the interface while being in the real world. but then what is the purpose of having cassie come in and free the mimic? when he can do it himself. my only solution to this is glitchtrap is indeed fighting the mimic for control, but till he had a body he couldn't make executive decisions for the company, meanwhile we know the mimic simply wants to escape and live as a normal person. thus kind of repeating the cycle of William and baby over again.... though with a creation from that newer inventor.
Honestly, I don't think Vanny crushing Glitchtrap in her hand is a sign she is destroying it. I am taking it as them merging together because the princess quest games are a trap.
Though I am the guy who thinks that the person we are playing as is Michael in HW2 from all the FNAF 4 and FNAF 6 references, Circus Baby saying "you should have known I would find you" in the second fazzerblast game, the memory dolls being related to the MCI, Candy Cadet's second story(The cabin/oven being the pizzeria, Helpi being the boy, and Glitchtrap/mimic being the witch), and in the helpy first aid mini game as the nights get harder talk about the salvaging of an animatronic. There is also the drawing in the Helpy first aid minigame about Helpy escaping the pizzeria. Cassie's dad and Bonnie bro also makes sense especially if you could place him as the night guard in FNAF 2, since candy cadet's second story mention this was the second time they are dealing with the witch. Though I am only guessing that the witch is the mimic or glitchtrap when it could be the owner of Freddy's LLC.

Seeing the take the vanni mask poster in the backroom makes me wonder if matpats old theory about the cult of glitchtrap will come to fruition (I honestly hope it does), a army of class v technician with VANNI security mask that could possibly make him a new animatronic body, it’s honestly a really cool concept that I think could happen, I also think that maybe VANNI works like a hivemind with all the security mask being caonnecredbtk the vanni network and perhaps she isn’t a single person but rather the mask herself that can possess anyone with a VANNI mask.

But; vannys eyes in that end scene, they have the same yellow to orange glow as the mimic bot, but then they fade back to the suits red colour. I don't think it checks out, but it occurred to me that you could see Cassie's Dad as being what the Mimic is copying. If you collect merch that expands Fazbear's power ever outward, then it consumes you for power and expands outward. If you reflect on the past, then it doesn't expand, leaving it vulnerable to be consumed itself.

I feel like something we learn in help wanted 2 is that helpi is the big bad and it might be older than anything we've seen so far escaping a fire at the carnival location that may or may not have been an attempt to destroy it and perhaps even William afton could be a reluctant/or even a willing follower to helpi itself?
To further support your statement of PQ4 being a trial that Glitchtrap has designed is that when it’s time to take the sword from the arcade it’s says it’s an (alpha) build. So we’ve yet to see the final build of the game.

Someone finally has the same theory as me: Jeremy is Casey's dad and is actually the 'scarred' person mentioned by candy cadet coming back for revenge for Glitchtrap (and is led my Helpi/Vanny, but the "oven door" closes on them, releasing glitchtrap in the "normal" ending! I do think that that first ending with glitchtrap rising into the real world is an actual cannon ending instead of the Vanny ending or both. Also, I totally do the thing all the time where my hands need to be holding/figeting with something so I'll just grab any random nearby object 😂.

I think it’s as simple as people make it out to be: Vanny is destroying the last remains of Glitchtrap only to wave goodbye and fade away, never to be seen again. Because we know that Princess Quest ending is (mostly) canon, and if this game takes place in between Security Breach and Ruin then Vanessa is free of Glitchrap, Vanny can no longer take over however she isn’t gone. I think after the events of Security Breach, Vanessa was trying to turn Vanny into something good, and made the Vanni masks to help technicians work around the Pizzaplex, and continues to do so by appearing as Vanny in the digital world and ending Glitchtrap for good.
Remember Candy Cadet's story. The Witch gets the Woman to rest through the boy and they end up in the Oven. And the Witch "has her Meal". The Witch and Monster are both implied to be GLITCHTRAP and the MIMIC. This story implies the "Witch " got the Woman. Who is implied to be Vanessa.

It's a good theory, Rye, but I think that there's one big detail that you may be overlooking. The map bot. In the Helpi ending, we do see, in first person, the moment the map bot hands the mask over to Cassy. Also, Matt Patt pointed out in his latest HW2 theory that, if you look at the map bot in AR mode, you can see what looks like a brain and other organs INSIDE the bot. I think this suggests that Jeremy gets stuffed into it after he's attacked by the staff bots in the Helpi ending. If that holds true, I think it's more likely that Glitchtrap is more likely to be trying to get Jeremy out of the way, rather than freeing himself. Rather than typing out Matt Pat's entire theory, I'll just say he raises some good points and makes a very compelling case for them. I think there's definitely a lot of new questions raised by these endings and a lot of digging to do so we can draw connections to past cannon. I won't claim to know what's right here and I'm open to any interpretation at this point. I really just thought that detail about the map bot in RUIN was really cool and a very important one that your theory doesn't really address. I will say that the Vanni ending is confusing af and I don't have a lot to say about it right now so take this opinion for what it's worth. lol

So I’ve got an out there theory, clearly Glitchtrap is, to an extent, the Mimic1 program, it speaks to us in HW1 with Tape Girl’s distorted voice and it’s likely the final tape is entirely fabricated or altered. However it is odd to me with the memories, your interpretation is very valid and interesting, but to me, I find it more likely that Glitchtrap witnessed the MCI and Charlotte to an extent. I’ve long believed that Glitchtrap is the combination of Afton and Mimic1, not being one or the other, but the hybrid between the two. That’s why Glitchtrap says very personal things, like I always come back, or wants to become Burntrap, because Glitchtrap is unique, it is better than Afton and Mimic, it is strangely human. Ruin Mimic is impatient and bratty, and argues with Helpi, while Glitchtrap is patient and cunning in a different way. I strongly believe Glitchtrap is Helpi in HW2 and Ruin. In Ruin it perfectly describes my idea of Glicthtrap, a cute manipulator with the eyes of the Mimic and the deep rooted veins of Afton, with it doing what it does to serve its own goals. If Mimic is Helpi, then why does it argue with him.

To me, I'm a Aftontrap theorist, most people think he's mimic, in a way I do as well sort of. I think Mimic is being used by Afton to lure Cassie because Vanessa is gone. Also a darker theory is that when the cut lines Vanessa said, "it's memories" and "only a piece of *his* code remains" gives me the idea that mimic cannot process proper memories. And plus, Mimic wasn't the person who killed the missing kids and doesn't have memories of the Bonnie Bro (Bonnie bully) killing Evan, Crying Child or whatever you wanna name him. To me Glitchtrap is finally getting revenge on one of the many people who helped killed his child long ago. "It kept you for a reason" He knows. *But* that's just a theory, it may not he true. The weirdest thing for me is that you have to take the mask off to gather all the fazforce figures what taking the mask off is what’s meant to allow us to help allow us to talk in private/see the truth.
