10:04. After around 10 hours dried blood looks black, even in well lit situations. I’m positive I’ve heard an interview with someone who discovered a crime scene, but didn’t realize it. They thought it was just spilled soda on the carpet and drops of ink on the wall
Also, it doesn't seem like they specific in what room she sees the mask and ink. It feels like it's where Jeremy is standing as she mention him having ink on him too.
@@nekoboygames7786 It's heavily implied to be the supply room, as that's where she goes first, and the supply room has a lot of attention brought to itself, being brightly lit. She then sees Jeremy in a different room.
I can see the Halloween mask even if in a brightly lit room either being meant to tell us she doesn't realize he cut his face off due to the presumed ink and Jeremy in another room but I can also see a case that Jeremy tried to remove the headset and he was just too late when glitchtrap took control so he just played the game until he died as he wasn't gonna be much use. And possibly this meaning Vanessa was a second choice. But the mask could even been one Jeremy made like Vanessa's Vanny mask. Or even just a preventative measure making it harder to be removed.
the idea that the insanity ending log we hear from Henry in ffps is the 223rd log he's recorded makes me so sad, that gives Henry such much character just through that. imagine how broken he'd be under that idea, how much he's lost, how stuck in this tragedy he is
18:45 this could be two things possibly, either when Vanessa put his virus into the PizzaPlex, or when in the therapy tapes Vanessa says “I compartmentalized him, he’s locked away”
We see springtrap in the blacklight level of Ennard Vent Repair, and it is confirmed that there's springlock spriglock suits at the Rental Facility, suggesting that's where Afton got the scraptrap suit
in the photo booth of FNAF AR, there’s a filter that has a set of red curtains, and a sign that says come one come all the Fazbear circus. That could indicate that Fazbear Entertainment started off as a circus.
omg thank you for pointing out the thing about fnaf3 never officially being stated to be in 2023, sometimes i feel really crazy whenever people call it canon 😭
Something to help corroborate the "223 is not a year in the HRY223 filename" argument: I have NEVER in my life seen a year abbreviated by dropping only the second digit. Dropping the first 2 is common - usernames do it, we all do it when discussing a decade, sometimes we use it in normal parlance when talking about a given year (the early 2000s in particular come to mind - 05, 06, 07, etc.). I cannot think of anyone ever referring to a year by dropping the second digit and only the second digit.
and so if frights are canon, and into the pit take place in 2020, fnaf 3 would be broken by the fact that jeff's pizza doesn't have anything more of fazbear artefacts to collect, so it places fnaf 3 much before 2020, it must be at least in 2010s, so its 2015
@@Wizardjones69 i saw you comment this somewhere else, too, but is pit in 2020 confirmed? also i think it's safe to say that if any of the frights are canon and in the same universe as the games, pit would be the first one, especially with the game coming out. i think fnaf 3 taking place in 2015 makes the most sense, especially considering it is when it came out.
FNAF 3 states it specifically takes place 30 years AFTER the closing of Freddy's Pizzeria. I think it's talking about the first location that closed in 1985, so 30 years later would be 2015, which is the year the game came out in which makes even more sense then 2013
it always irked me that people just assumed fnaf 3 took place in 2023 when the anniversary line has always said "30 years after closing its doors", nothing about when in the timeline we ever played fnaf 1. ive always felt strongly that fnaf 3 takes place in 2015
Feb 23 (or 2/23) would be a Tuesday in 2016 (or Monday in 2015, Sunday in 2014). The insanity ending where you listen to HRY223 can be unlocked as early as day 3. So it was probably recorded on or before Wednesday of that week. It really could be any date though, since we don’t know how long in advance Henry recorded most of the tapes (his final one recognizes who Mike is so has to have been made during the week). Those dates fit it between fnaf3 and fnaf AR while allowing for the tapes to have been recorded after Mike starts working but before he buys the egg baby.
I would like to point out that the previous game tester says that once Glitchtrap has fused into her logs, they become impossible to delete. That feels supernatural in nature. I should also point out that Springtrap (the actual suit, not a recreation) appears in AR (working with the virus, seemingly) which means it has to be between fnaf 3 and 6
14:27 that right there is speculation, in the books it was said that the indie dev didnt finish the fourth game and there are other possible explanations for Ennard and Scrap Baby, there was an active camera in the scooper room and around circus baby's entertainment and rentals so Ennard could've easily been caught on camera and scrap baby had been wandering around for decades so she also was possibly known as an urban legend kinda like the stitchwraith
Ironic really that the era with the most stated lore is also the era which is the most confusing. Also that "Foundation" is really big for how little it really says!
2015 would work a lot better than 2013 for a fnaf 3 date. The game came out in 2015 so it is not just a random year. That would also mean Freddy FazBear’s Pizza shut down in 1985 which is the date given for the MCI in the books.
@@syweb2 The girl with the Pigtail's in the FNAF 4 8 bit minigames talks about there being rumors of kids being stuffed into animatronics and the animatronics coming to life at night. It goes without saying how this implies the MCI had already happened by that point. In the Crying Child deathbed scene, the other plushie characters show up when the FredBear plush tells CC: "we are still your friends, do you believe that?" This can be seen as CC previously being friends with the MCI victims, especially given how the logbook seemingly shows that Cassidy knew about Crying Child's life and FNAF World shows us that CC was connected to the MCI for Happiest Day. HW2 also seemingly shows us that Charlie died in 1983 in the games, since the code 1983 has to be typed in to unlock the Puppet plushie. The same game then has the Puppet in *last* place with the victim's grave order, which inherently implies MCI83 again.
@@ItsB1998 That is a valid interpretation however if MCI 83 is true it most likely happened while CC was in a coma bc William wanted to get back at the children for bullying him and making him afraid of the animatronics. The 1983 code could just a throwback to the code from SL but could also imply Charlies death. I still think MCI 85 most likely happened although that is compelling evidence. I also feel like it makes no sense for Scott to pick a random year in the feature or past when it could have taken place directly when the game came out and when popularity was the highest.
21:00 Fnaf 3's steam description states "30 years since Freddy Fazbear's CLOSED It's doors" and FFP was opened in 83 and CLOSED in 85 after MCI so it IS 2015 👀👀👀 I always said it is! No one believed me
FINALLY FNAF 3 THRUTHERISM. Fnaf 3's "30 years since closing" makes the most sense as reference to the mci location, 1985. Putting it in 2015, the year fnaf 3 was released, IT JUST MAKES SENSE PEOPLE
I guess, but what’s the point of mentioning thirty years since *one* of the restaurants closed? I feel like that line was strongly implying that it was thirty years since Fazbear was closed FOR GOOD, which would have been fnaf 1.
I don't know why, but at 2:45 my brain just shouted; "STICHTRAP! We stitch the tapes/pieces back together, and it was a trapped virus based on/fed data/ recorded William Afton, Springtrap." Does that make sense for anyone else? I did have a smoke before watching
I got here just in time for the premier, woooo! Also, Ness=Nessy=Loch Ness Monster=Mysterious Water Creature=Crabs=Vannessa is a Crab confirmed! DON'T TRUST THE CRABS! BLAME THE CRABS!
14:47 The way you phrase this feels very much like Scott saying "I was young, i didn't expect this to get so popular. Don't listen to the past version of me, he probably got some stuff wrong."
13:31 I think people saying “only Michael could know about Ennard” are probably forgetting that security cameras exist and Fazbear would probably have the footage from the bunker. But yeah thats how I think they got the design for the “in game” Ennard.
ImmenseAndrew makes a really good argument for FNAF3 taking place in 2015 in “The Survival Logbook is still important and it changes FNAF3”. He points out that when Michael says the “real value” of the coupons is (insert numbers here), it seems like adjusting the price for inflation, and with his math it seems to be adjusting between early 90s-2015.
13:07 That's not quite on the mark. The reason why is so easy to miss too. Baby's voice in what at first felt like a throwaway line, admitted that they did this at least once before, and we can assume they were caught and restored back to how they were originally. So only from what we see, Michael should be the only one to see ennard, however based on what the line hinted, the employees and by proxy the company should've learned about the circus group's little stunt In forming themselves into ennard.
I feel like this is steel wools attempt at dragging agony into the games. The ink that was all over could be agony from the vr headset while Glitchtrap corrupted Jeremy.
The thing about how Help Wanted games know about Ennard - Sister Location explicitly has camera all over the place. We directly get found in the Scooping Room after Night 4 thanks to the cameras. There would almost certainly be a footage of Micheal getting scooped and taken over by Ennard. Ennard itself likely would have been captured at some point as well. Especially, if the good ending in Sister Location happened in some way - where Michael found the security room. Ennard being visible on security cameras is literally a gameplay mechanic. This specifically can also be a way how Henry learned about a lot of the animatronics he needed for the fire. And in similar manner we could speculate that Scrap Baby also was captured and seen at the Pizzeria Simulator location, with potentially monitoring being present there. And then obviously there is also the part, where there could have been sightings of both Ennard and Scrap Baby. We see Ennard leave Michael on streets - even with most elaborate sewers systems, someone had to see giant robots and dead animatronics travel to Pizzeria Simulator location. If someone would have that footage - it would be Fazbear Entertainment. And then there are dozens of untold stories that could have happened between Sister Location and Pizzeria Simulator. Those are not extreme secrets no one knows about - we can't forget how almost every game and situation had multiple unnamed workers, government employees and normal people being involved in the background.
idk man, there's a counter to this. Reason why ennard need mike body to escape is so no one know they escape, so if Ennard is real he presumably would delete the footage when they leave.
9:42 I don't know this might be a stretch but with the descriptions of how she describes the room it reminds me of a photo darkroom the ones that are brightly lit in red light. The ones that would have a paper guillotine and would explain why she thinks blood would look like ink because the whole room in bathed in red light and the blood would be a shade darker making her think its ink. also it could be used as a supplies room because maybe not that many people use it anymore but maybe Jeremy did idk lol it defiantly feels like a stretch but just something I felt I should say.
If they make a dlc for help wanted 2 here are some things I would love to see. 1. A minigame with the blob/tangle. 2. A minigame with glamrock Bonnie or perhaps a glamrock foxy. 3. A minigame about creating animatronics. 4. Facing glitchtrap with the princess quest sword. 5. A new character (whether human or animatronic). 6. Reference to the tales from the pizzaplex books. 7. Tape girl return. 8. Facing off against the mimic. 9. Fnaf pizzeria simulator and ultimate custom night. 10. A minigame about playing arcade 8-bit minigames.
My personal thought on glitchtrap is that he’s both Mimic AND Afton. I’ve been reading through the Storyteller and Tiger rock, the Mimic1 program is the mimic via books, which Glitchtrap was originally labeled as such but I think turned into “SpringbonnieMAN” or maybe the other way around. Helpwanted2 entails that Glitchtrap has “memories” from UCN showing old man consequences, ALL of the murders including Charlie’s which was private, ect. Even in the AR trailer there’s a sprite of Purple guy right after Glitchtrap, and Springtrap in universe AR has lines from UCN. So, there’s no way in my book that Afton isn’t apart of the hive mind, maybe they scanned in both Mimic and Afton, so he has a gateway to appear as this mascot, I dunno. I like thinking about it like that, having both villains so everyone’s happy. 💜
Thats incorrect fnaf ar says Glitchtrap came from ONE BOARD. So either mimic or afton. (I think it's safe to say it's confirmed to be afton)also the memory plushies are a part of mimics memory and the unused voiclines prove you can "realese"these memories from Glitchtrap
9:46 the way she says "dark room" makes it sound like one word, like darkroom. And a darkroom is the brightly lit red (yet hard to see in) room where photos develop, which would explain why the red blood looked black, since it had nothing to contrast on. When everything is red it is hard to distinguish between blood and ink. Also, in the context of a room used for photography and developing, ink and a paper cutter being used makes sense. Why they would use a dark room in 2035? I dont know, but that makes the most sense to me. Also, that is just an awesome horror visual to imagine, a dude with his face sliced off with blood everywhere in a completely red room. Also #2, tape girl only really says that she only initially thought it was a mask, and as far as i know didnt go into any further detail. I think this was intentional
@RyeToast An idea I have for Jeremy in VR is that maybe the mask is some sort of proto-Vanny mask or something that Jeremy made for Glitchtrap like Vanessa did. The ink doesn’t have a specific color said, but red ink could just be blood, or, maybe if the ink is black, which would be most likely in my opinion, maybe it was Agony. I'm not 100%, but it is some theories that could fit with Jeremy being a sort of Proto-Vanny. Also, the minimum for Fazbear's Fright is 2015 or 2017, since Fazbear's Fright opened 30 after the closure of a Freddy's, not an opening.
3:48 The backstage exit which leads to the outdoors with the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex being constructed in the distance with the build board saying "coming soon" which results in the FNAF Security Breach teaser ending wasn't added in the FNAF Help Wanted Curse of Dreadbear DLC, it was added when the flat mode of FNAF Help Wanted released on 12-17-2019. That's why it's snowing when you go outside. Is this information necessary important? Probably not, I just wanted to correct you LOL
13:30 Also, the intro has a direct screenshot from Sister Location (repairing Funtime Freddy). As mentioned by others, the Sister Location bunker has a bunch of cameras throughout, and Mike is rescued from Night 4 by workers who see him on the cameras in the Scooping Room. It is highly likely that Ennard was caught on camera when it was scooping and wearing Mike, and thus its likeness was recorded and seen by Fazbear Entertainment. Therefore, Ennard's presence alone doesn't mean that Sister Location is a game, while the intro screenshot makes it a certainty. 15:25 Something to note is that Help Wanted's bare Endo-01 model generally has 3 toes (as seen in the gallery), so I think these are just supposed to be Endo-01s without any 02 parts.
I love the hilarious bit of the meta where the FNaF Company (in universe) is like, "Hey, we're gonna get ahead on this thing!" But, they're not actually out in front of it. They're that guy chasing the bus down, waving and screaming.
Because I watched GiBi's 9 hour video, I just wanna jump in with a "speculative correction" FNAF 3 doesn't say it's the 30th Anniversary, it says it's "Thirty Years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors". Which means it'd be 30 years after the Missing Child Incident that is presumed to take place in 1985 and caused the first restaurant before FNAF 2 to shut down, which would put the game at 2015, the same year the game itself was released which is a really convenient marker and it's weird nobody in the larger community ever considers it.
Speaking of the dark circus, Stormister did a video of 100% the game before it became unplayable, including the DLC, and got some pretty good video of great escape golden freddy ^^
@@bossco839 into the pit taking place in 2020 while having NOTHING of fazbear artefacts to fazbear fright collect, fnaf 3 2015 must be the right awnser
I've seen you bring up the fact the Ennard should have only been seen my Micheal, but thats actually wrong there are cameras all through out the Sister Location including one in the Scooping Room. So its not that far-fetched that Fazbear would know about them.
Vanessa’s name and birthday info is under September is the ninth month; what if the 97 is the month and day of her birthday? Then everything we had originally established makes sense; she’s just born much later (sometime around 2010-2015? Would LOVE if she was born 2014 lol)
By that logic it could also me July 9, since most of the world outside the US writes dates day/month/year. However the 97 is from her Email/handle, and numbers in those are usually either your birth year, the order in which you are assigned the handle, or some random specific number that means something to the person [420, 69, 666, 187, and 86 are common meme numbers]. Is your birthday August 1 [or January 8, by my logic] 1991? The dates line up pretty well with the Steel Wool games being set in or around the time they are released and not "historical" [like FNAF 1, 2 and 4] or future vision. Nothing in VR/AR really precludes the tech being from today and not 10+ years in the future [especially since in the FNaF universe, in the 80s there were robots that could not only walk around unassisted, but were trusted enough to interact with children. If FNsF3 is set set 30 years after the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza opened, and not say Fredbear's Family Diner, which could push the date back, or the speculative date of FNaF1 [which both was NOT the first Freddy's opening, and never actually confirmed, only inferred to bi in 93], then we need to admit incorrect speculation and go forward where the new evidence points. That is how you create THEORY and not Fan Fiction. If new evidence challenges your narrative, you have to be able to accept when you are wrong. Your feelings on the matter or a consensus of other speculators matters not.
Hear me out. If the game takes place in 2029. And she's 23 in the middle of that year (when sb takes place). 2007 is when her birth month would be. So what if the 97 September. 2007?
Min 6:50, i don't think its the only possible choice to think that the person made the mask, but instead the little glitchy bunny plushy that is given by the old mand consequences of Help Wanted 2 when we then give it to moon to bring it to bunny to destroy glitchtrap in that weird situation. I think that plushy is some kind of representation of the glitchtrap virus
if you ever watched the 9 hour long fnaf lore video by Gibi, he makes a great point that fnaf 3 takes place in 2015 and helps date fnaf 1. He explains that the fazbear attraction was made 30 years after the events/rumors of fazbear entertainment, which we know to be the MCI incident in 1985 (adding 30 years neatly makes it 2015 which was when fnaf 3 released) it also just makes more sense for fnaf 3 being the "modern day" to actually be happened the same year as its release. He used some paycheck math to estimate fnaf 1 taking place in 1995 ALSO he made the greatest point ive ever heard. we all assume fnaf 1 to be in 1993 because of matpats very first theory in which the real life murder in chuck e cheese took place in 1993, no where in fnaf 1 does it state it takes place in 1993 (or any other games for that matter)
Jeremy use the guillotine paper cutter to finish up the mask and the ink is the paint on the mask but he resisted the virus enough to get a snap out of it or something else happened
what if henry, as part of his mission to end the horrors of fazbear, was the one to commission the game developer? i mean, if fnaf 3 took place in 2013, and the first game IRL came out in 2014, maybe that's when it came in-universe too. id say if he was working on covering up, that places fnaf 6 in 2014 as well. after all, people did feel safe enough to come to the fnaf 6 location. from there, henry died, but the company continued. i wonder if he told the developer to write that he was dead, when in reality, he either left or was kicked out of the company, hence why its still around, after "fazbear entertainment is no longer a coorpret entity".
21:22 it says it takes place 30 years AFTER Freddy’s closed. I like to believe that it closed in 1985. The channel GiBi’s Good Idea Bad Idea makes a very good arguement for this using the logbook and a coupon seen in it using inflation rates
Why would it be that one tho? Like, I get that it’s the MCI one but, wouldn’t it be more effective and impactful for it to be thirty years since Freddy’s closed FOR GOOD? (FNaF 1). I think that’s what it was originally implying, like, that’s what it sounded like.
@@Rad0115 Well, it's fairly reasonable to assume that the FNAF 1 location was a closed down location, considering its state. But even if it wasn't, the description for FNAF 3 speaks about the TRAGEDY that had Freddy's closing. To the player, it might feel more effective for it to be FNAF 1, but in universe? It wouldn't be all that impactful. It was already a failing business that no one cared about anymore by the time of FNAF 1. I recommend watching Gibi's video. It's really well made and he is very clear and concise about his points! If you like Ryetoast, you'll like him! :)
im pretty sure that jeremy did lose his face since every jeremy in the games (as far as i am aware) are linked to missing part of their head. fnaf 2 jeremy is probably the 87 bite victim, and withered bonnie also has no face and bonnie was posessed by another jeremy so i think that its a logical conclusion that vr jeremy must have lost his face
I've always been bothered by the mask/blood/guillotine incident with Jeremy. It kinda reminds me of how people portray madness when influenced by an outside force, see the madmen of skyrim or Valerio Jimenez from The Evil Within (fair warning, he literally claws his brain out). But the way the story is framed sounds like someone trying to recall a traumatic memory they witnessed as they realize why it's so alarming, calling out details that seem innocuous but make sense in hindsight. I don't know how much I commit to Jeremy slicing off his own face, but if it were the case I *kinda* get it, Jeremy was in a lot of duress from the virus and being written up, as he was losing his identity he tried to pull it out from under the skin? It just doesn't make much sense from an audience perspective since we weren't there.
I don't believe that the golden Bonnie at the end of pizza party is the anomaly, i believe that is an intended ending of the on universe game. The anomoly is only the green corrupted version you see in the lobby and in the tape room
ryan, maybe fnaf 1 takes place in 2003 instead of 1993 or 1992 phone guy :"No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath?" freddy's opened in 1983, so 1983 + 20 = 2003, pretty close to the movie i might say
21:07 my personal belief around fnaf 3 (and fnaf 1 by proxy) is that fnaf 3 is set in 2015, and fnaf 1 is 1992. This is mainly due to the logbook as well as the wording fnaf 3's description. It states "Thirty years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed its doors" and we directly know of 3 Freddy's locations that closed: MCI Freddy's, FNAF 2, and FNAF 1. Given that Fazbear Frights is a horror attraction trying to capture the glory days of Fazbear, I do not think they would brand themselves after FNAF 2 or 1's locations, since FNAF 2 was open for a rather short time (less than a full year iirc) and FNAF 1 was coming to the decline of Fazbear. The early 80s seem like Fazbear's hay days, having a spinoff show and toys (as seen in FNAF 4), and if MCI 85 is believed, that location would have closed in 1985 and Frights trying to brand themselves after the glory days would reference that era the most, 30 years later gets us 2015. Further evidence to me is the Logbook, which I believe is an In universe activity book made by fazbear frights, and therefore canon, and something that Mike was filling out and communicating with directly prior to FNAF 3 when he worked there doing nothing before they found springtrap "Hey glad you made it back for another night". In this, coupons featuring animatronics of the fnaf 1 style are shown, where Mike notes on a particular $16 coupon to "see real value" on another page, where we see 5+4 and a 3 in the corner on a chalkboard, which can be worked out as (5+4)*3 = 27, that $16 coupon's real value when FNAF 3 takes place is $27. When plugging that information into a US inflation calculator, $27 in 2015 has the same value as $16 in 1992
I think its also worth considering that the 223 in HRY223 could be a date or time maybe? like, february 23rd (which, yeah, doesn't line up with the halloween posters in the alley but those dont necessarily mean its halloween, they are in an alleyway after all) or 2:23.
Imagine if Matt Patts orignial theroy surronding chucky cheese was true, that the games are based on the murders, and Chucky Cheese hired Scott to make the games, and it turns out now we are all sleeper agents to a rouge AI.
Okay. My leading theory is that Fnaf 3 takes place in 20*15. And that while the bite '83 did a lot hurt the brand. It was the MCI that finally got them to *close* in 1985. Though i may be conflucting two different places.
What if Gregory is somehow under control and is roaming around doing someone's will. Like being tasked to find a way to integrate it into a body. In the process he finds out that the program got loose and entered someone it wasnt supposed to. By stealing back all the hardware, he could stop it from spreading, but Vanessa got infected. She split and created the Vanny persona. Gregory as patient 46 was then making sure no one could get in the their way as he tried to get her to the pizza plex. I imagine the master mind wanted to Vanny, so Gregory hacked the systems and fixed her to move up in the company. I imagine business was going good, until an engineer noticed something wrong with the animatronics. I believe going back through Security Breach shows evidence of Cassie and her dad being involved with the new cast of animatronics. And the new crew of villains have wrought through already. Edit: What if Cassie caused Security Breach? I mean in she caused something in Gregory to change and his change of heart happened the night they were gonna ressurect a Villain. As a punishment, they caught Gregory and stuffed back into the system, focing him to relive Security Breach while Vanny keeps him as an apprentice. She eliminated Glitchtrap in Help Wanted 2, so I think she's trying to take the mantle.
21:37 I’ve always had an issue about that date of FNAF 6, mainly because that’s not how dates are written! So assuming that’s the date was always a odd leap in logic.
The FNAF 3 steam page states this: "Thirty years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors, the events that took place there have become nothing more than a rumor and a childhood memory..." The sentence specifies that something happens at this particular location. I think that this sentence could refer to the location where the missing child incident takes place. The books are pretty consistent at placing the missing child incident in 1985, so I think it is plausible that Fazbear Frights takes place in 2015. Otherwise the only other plausible year to use is 1993 which is when the final freddy fazbear's pizza place closes and this line refers to the missing children's incident AND the guards deaths. There is also the 1987 location but I don't think this location is significant enough to be referenced specifically compared to the other two locations. I think using "nessie97" to determine the year that Vanessa was born in to be a fallacy. '97' could refer to something else. For example Vanessa birthday is listed as September. So it could refer to the day/month of her birthday, the 7th of September. That being said if FNAF 3 actually takes place in 2015 then it would still be possible for Vanessa to work on Help Wanted by 2020 using this timeline. I've always thought that "hry223" either refers to the 223rd audio log Henry has recorded or the day/month. So the audio log is recorded on the 23rd of february. Years aren't abbreviated like '223' and so can't be used as evidence to determine the year. If the numbers do represent 2/23, then that would likely place FNAF 6 in the year after FNAF 3. In the proposed timeline that would be 2016. Help Wanted says that "We have recreated many of the fictitious scenarios (lies) that you have been fed over the last few years" I want to emphasize the 'last few years' part. It would have taken several years of time for the 'rogue' indie developer to create the games and then for Fazbear Entertainment to 'respond.' IRL FNAF 1 was released on the 8th of August 2014. FNAF 6 was released on the 4th of December 2017. FNAF UCN was released on the 27th of June 2018. This suggests that it would have taken 3-4 years before FNAF Help Wanted even started production. The calender shown in Security Breach places the game in 9-10th March of either the year 2018 (Far too early), 2029 or 2035. The quarterly magazines for the Pizzaplex have been running for 4 and 3/4 years. So the Pizzaplex would have opened in the summer of 2024 or 2031. If Help Wanted takes place in 2020 then that would give 4 years to construct the pizzaplex if the pizzaplex opens in the summer of 2024. FNAF 3 takes place in 2015, 30 years after the location where the MCI closes down. FNAF 6 takes place in late February 2016. FNAF Help Wanted happens in 2020. The Pizzaplex opens in 2024 and the events of Security Breach take place in 9-10th March 2029.
something to add onto this is if vanessa was born in 1997, then its still possible for vanessa to be the daughter of william afton. it was never stated how long fnaf 1 was shut down before william went to collect the mci remnant and the springbonnie suit. william could have waited a few years either to make sure the place would be long abandoned and have no security or witnesses. or he didn't bother until he needed more remnant. also considering how afton's corpse looks it most likely hasn't been sitting in the saferoom for 30 years. the building is infested with vermin and even if you say he was totally sealed off from pests, the leaking when it rains would provide the needed moisture for bacteria to decompose the corpse. he honestly looks mumified at least with his head. they could most likely found him when there was a dry spell. note im not a professional with this stuff so if im wrong with something someone can correct me on this.
I think fnaf 3 takes place in 2015, because a horror attraction would advertise themselves as being 30 years after the MCI, plus it puts the game in its release year
With the whole HRY223 thing, I know specific dates that aren’t just years have never been super important to the lore, but I don’t see why you couldn’t just take the numbers to mean that it was recorded on February 23rd
Love the video, couldn't help but notice you mentioned fnaf 3 taking place on the 30th anniversary, yet the direct quote is "30 years after Freddy Fazbears Pizza closed it's doors." I think it's important to distinguish that it's the anniversary of the closure, not the opening :3
I didn't know where to ask so here I go it's a thing concerning fnaf 2: what is your take of who we are playing? I mean at each sum up of the game I heard it's : you play as Jeremy Fitzgerald ... but I have 2 issues: number one the message we hear are pre recorded (summer job despite the winter month?) so the week described can have happened before (not too long before as the toys are not destroyed yet). Then there is the state of the restaurant each night: EXACTLY IDENTICAL, still with the birthday decoration and with the exact same puddle of water still not cleaned every night... I'm not saying debating over if Jeremy exists or is he the victim of the bite of 87 but rather that the person that we played in fnaf2 is not him (yes there is his paycheck but the context of fnaf 2 makes it hard to believe that the restaurant is actually running during fanf 2). We may be playing as Mike (like the 6th night) under another alias but its strangely presented or someone else ( but who?). I really wanted to have your opinion about that because it's usually something taken like obvious by most players but a bit strange when you spot that.
The summer job thing is likely just a hyperbole or Phone Guy reading off an outdated script. We know the location was only open for a few short weeks in November (night 6 newspaper), so this is the most logical conclusion you could come to. Also, the state of the restaurant throughout nights being the same is just Scott not caring about consistency. Most folks won't notice it, so I don't think it's something he was worried about. We definitely cant be playing as Michael, since Jeremy was switched over to the dayshift at the end of his first week once the position became available, and since we know what happened to him after he was instructed to stay close to the animatronics... Unless you want to argue that Mike is the Bite of '87 victim despite the mental gymnastics you'd have to go through to reach that conclusion, then our protagonist is clearly a different character.
@@treyvonlavell7334 No like I said Jeremy is the victim and he's not Mike. It just that if you didn't know that these were mistakes ( wich I didn't) well it was not consistent with an open restaurant and as such open at a situation similar to the 6th night. That's all
21:38 Re: FNAF 3 not taking place in 2023, I think you're right, even down to the range it has to be in!! There's actually a really good video by ImmenseAndrew that goes into an overlooked clue in the Survival Logbook that we were supposed to solve to find out that FNAF 3 takes place in 2017 (or possibly 2015), highly recommend checking his vid out if you haven't!
YES finally someone else who didn't think sb was set in 2030 or something because you can actually get the *fnaf 3 was in 2013 thing* a different way before fnaf sd (just a bit more complicating) but yeah fnaf games being super far into the future didn't make ANY sense to me because it just doesn't at all.. So am happy that someone else has said something about this :>
17:21 dont the email dates literally confirm that FNAF AR takes place in 2020? That should already confirm that FNAF3 and FFPS must take place years before 2020. Unless im missing something.
21:39 Hey Rye. A few theorists, myself included, have suggested that FNaF 3 could take place in 2015. It cannot take place in 2013(30 years after 1983) because the Steam description says Fazbear’s Fright takes place 30 years after Freddy Fazbear’s *closed down*. And 1985 is a speculated year for the original Freddy's to have closed down. Not only that, but the easter egg of the real value of the american dollar in the Survival Logbook also could suggest 2015 if you compare it to 1992(the year of FNaF 1, 1993 is solely based on a real incident). And on top of that, 2015 is also the irl release date of FNaF 3. So I think it all wraps up neatly.
i think the fnaf 1 events takes place in 2003 at best, phone guy talks about how the fnaf 1 animatronics have to sing stupid songs for 20 years, and freddy's opened in 1983 1983 + 20 = 2003 (which is pretty close to the movie events btw)
I always assumed it was 2015 for fnaf3. Not only is it the year the game came out, it's 30 years after the MCI. It was supposed to be 30 years after the tragic events.
20:37 The 30-Year jump defining when FNAF 3 takes place could have started with the 1985 murders. That way FNAF 3 would take place in 2015, the same year the actual game came out. Granted, this is just speculation, we’d need more information to really pinpoint the exact year. It is interesting to point out that the pizzaplex could have lasted for fifteen years, though.
That's actually a great point, that it's dried
Also it could be that he was making a mask the same way Vanessa was making a mask.
the idea that the insanity ending log we hear from Henry in ffps is the 223rd log he's recorded makes me so sad, that gives Henry such much character just through that. imagine how broken he'd be under that idea, how much he's lost, how stuck in this tragedy he is

Probably.
omg thank you for pointing out the thing about fnaf3 never officially being stated to be in 2023, sometimes i feel really crazy whenever people call it canon 😭
Something to help corroborate the "223 is not a year in the HRY223 filename" argument:
I have NEVER in my life seen a year abbreviated by dropping only the second digit.
Not to mention that naming a recording just based on the year seems unrealistic.
@@bingonoidyeah, trying to find an file you named after the year would be horrible if you had more than one file you saved that year
If we really want to connect it to a date, could it stand for february 23rd? As in Henry recorded it on that day. Just a thought
and so if frights are canon, and into the pit take place in 2020, fnaf 3 would be broken by the fact that jeff's pizza doesn't have anything more of fazbear artefacts to collect, so it places fnaf 3 much before 2020, it must be at least in 2010s, so its 2015
@@Wizardjones69 i saw you comment this somewhere else, too, but is pit in 2020 confirmed? also i think it's safe to say that if any of the frights are canon and in the same universe as the games, pit would be the first one, especially with the game coming out. i think fnaf 3 taking place in 2015 makes the most sense, especially considering it is when it came out.
FNAF 3 states it specifically takes place 30 years AFTER the closing of Freddy's Pizzeria. I think it's talking about the first location that closed in 1985, so 30 years later would be 2015, which is the year the game came out in which makes even more sense then 2013
2015 requires locations opening whilst still being considered closed.
it always irked me that people just assumed fnaf 3 took place in 2023 when the anniversary line has always said "30 years after closing its doors", nothing about when in the timeline we ever played fnaf 1. ive always felt strongly that fnaf 3 takes place in 2015
That puts the FNAF 2 location as being open during the 30 years Freddy's was closed, might I suggest FNAF 3 as somewhere from 2017 to 2019.
I saw a TH-camr named ImmenseAndrew discover in the logbook that FNAF3 took place in 2015, using the real value of the ticket in that book
I should also point out that Springtrap (the actual suit, not a recreation) appears in AR (working with the virus, seemingly) which means it has to be between fnaf 3 and 6
19:00 This V_A take-over literally sounds like the HW2 Princess Quest ending. As an employee, the protag experienced what really happened.
14:27 that right there is speculation, in the books it was said that the indie dev didnt finish the fourth game and there are other possible explanations for Ennard and Scrap Baby, there was an active camera in the scooper room and around circus baby's entertainment and rentals so Ennard could've easily been caught on camera and scrap baby had been wandering around for decades so she also was possibly known as an urban legend kinda like the stitchwraith
and in hw is showed screen shoots of fnaf sl gameplay, so maybe fazbear inc or other employee continued the crazy indie dev games
Game info implies the MCI happens in 1983
@@ItsB1998 Please elaborate.
The same game then has the Puppet in *last* place with the victim's grave order, which inherently implies MCI83 again.
agreed, 2015 seems perfect as its 30 years after when most people assume the mci took place 👍👍👍👍

13:07
That's not quite on the mark.
Yeah! instead of dried blood(which I swear is dark brown not black once dried), it's agony since it's black!

Could the ink.... Be agony?
It seemed that way to me too
My personal thought on glitchtrap is that he’s both Mimic AND Afton.
@@ZavoyHarwood wrong, she said “circuit boards, looked pretty old.”
@@artbyphobia no. In fnaf ar it says they traced the virus back to ONE circuit BOARD
Me for real: 🤓
Oh shit really? My bad. And no it's not necessarily important for the timeline, but it's important that we get our information right!
Because I watched GiBi's 9 hour video, I just wanna jump in with a "speculative correction"
FNAF 3 doesn't say it's the 30th Anniversary, it says it's "Thirty Years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors".

if you ever watched the 9 hour long fnaf lore video by Gibi, he makes a great point that fnaf 3 takes place in 2015 and helps date fnaf 1. He used some paycheck math to estimate fnaf 1 taking place in 1995
ALSO he made the greatest point ive ever heard. we all assume fnaf 1 to be in 1993 because of matpats very first theory in which the real life murder in chuck e cheese took place in 1993, no where in fnaf 1 does it state it takes place in 1993 (or any other games for that matter)

Jeremy use the guillotine paper cutter to finish up the mask and the ink is the paint on the mask but he resisted the virus enough to get a snap out of it or something else happened
what if henry, as part of his mission to end the horrors of fazbear, was the one to commission the game developer? i mean, if fnaf 3 took place in 2013, and the first game IRL came out in 2014, maybe that's when it came in-universe too. id say if he was working on covering up, that places fnaf 6 in 2014 as well. after all, people did feel safe enough to come to the fnaf 6 location.
from there, henry died, but the company continued. i wonder if he told the developer to write that he was dead, when in reality, he either left or
was kicked out of the company, hence why its still around, after "fazbear entertainment is no longer a
coorpret entity".
10:04 Think about this, the mask and ink could be Jeremy making a mask, just like how Vanessa made a mask.
I will say it’s still technically a possibility that she’s Nessie_97 due to other emails being Nessie 20:51
21:22 it says it takes place 30 years AFTER Freddy’s closed. I like to believe that it closed in 1985. The channel GiBi’s Good Idea Bad Idea makes a very good arguement for this using the logbook and a coupon seen in it using inflation rates
Yeah, he also pointed out how that's the year the game released, which makes a lot of sense lol
You right my b
I think we’re overlooking the most important piece of evidence:
Foxy and Bonnie are in love, as seen in the two plushies kissing
“Without any speculation” look man, i agree with a lot of the stuff youre saying, but a lot of it was speculation 😭
I don't believe that the golden Bonnie at the end of pizza party is the anomaly, i believe that is an intended ending of the on universe game. The anomoly is only the green corrupted version you see in the lobby and in the tape room
Haven't watched you in a while- I love the new background!
I love the FNAF World in the back- it's the FNAF equivalent of Subway Surfers
When rye said "It's almost if it was mimicking the game" and it went absolutely hard 🗣️🔥🔥
ryan, maybe fnaf 1 takes place in 2003 instead of 1993 or 1992
phone guy :"No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath?"
freddy's opened in 1983, so 1983 + 20 = 2003, pretty close to the movie i might say
When plugging that information into a US inflation calculator, $27 in 2015 has the same value as $16 in 1992
I think its also worth considering that the 223 in HRY223 could be a date or time maybe? like, february 23rd (which, yeah, doesn't line up with the halloween posters in the alley but those dont necessarily mean its halloween, they are in an alleyway after all) or 2:23.
maybe its henry LOG223
maybe henry have ALOT of logs made over time, from log 0 into log 223 before the fire
This is speculation but micheal could’ve told fazbear entertainment about ennard, the phantoms, and springtrap
Imagine if Matt Patts orignial theroy surronding chucky cheese was true, that the games are based on the murders, and Chucky Cheese hired Scott to make the games, and it turns out now we are all sleeper agents to a rouge AI.
0:10 LOL The cat is like "Why have you stopped servant? Keeping petting me." XD
15:56 I cannot with you XD That was just too funny to me XD LMAO!!!
4:20 Plot's getting wild in this theory, oh, my!
22:38 PinkConkonut’s art style is adorable :D
Can grim foxy be an analogy of Mike "returning from the dead" and trying to stop vanny?
Okay. My leading theory is that Fnaf 3 takes place in 20*15. And that while the bite '83 did a lot hurt the brand. It was the MCI that finally got them to *close* in 1985. Though i may be conflucting two different places.
fnaf 3 takes place in 2015, change my mind
Nah you're right, that was my b I had a brain fart
Oh that’s how you get the image. I though it was an alternate route of foxy pirate log ride
13:12 wasn’t the bunker covered with security cameras that the player character didn’t control? it could have been caught on one of those
I’ve wanted a video just like this
Always excited when RyeToast uploads. His FNAF content is goated!
21:37 I’ve always had an issue about that date of FNAF 6, mainly because that’s not how dates are written! So assuming that’s the date was always a odd leap in logic.
that cat is so chill :')
The Pizzaplex opens in 2024 and the events of Security Breach take place in 9-10th March 2029.
meh, even fnaf 1 date being in "1993" doesn't feel right, most likely its 2003
something to add onto this is if vanessa was born in 1997, then its still possible for vanessa to be the daughter of william afton. it was never stated how long fnaf 1 was shut down before william went to collect the mci remnant and the springbonnie suit. william could have waited a few years either to make sure the place would be long abandoned and have no security or witnesses. or he didn't bother until he needed more remnant.
also considering how afton's corpse looks it most likely hasn't been sitting in the saferoom for 30 years. the building is infested with vermin and even if you say he was totally sealed off from pests, the leaking when it rains would provide the needed moisture for bacteria to decompose the corpse. he honestly looks mumified at least with his head. they could most likely found him when there was a dry spell.
note im not a professional with this stuff so if im wrong with something someone can correct me on this.
Maybe fnaf 1 doesnt take place in 1993, but rather 2003, this makes the time skip between 1 and 3 less absurd
I think fnaf 3 takes place in 2015, because a horror attraction would advertise themselves as being 30 years after the MCI, plus it puts the game in its release year
14:47 THANK YOU
I really liked this, it moves away from some assumed conclusions and offers other solutions that are more evidenced based. Well done Rye 👏
With the whole HRY223 thing, I know specific dates that aren’t just years have never been super important to the lore, but I don’t see why you couldn’t just take the numbers to mean that it was recorded on February 23rd
Guys go to 19:44, something cool is there
Love the video, couldn't help but notice you mentioned fnaf 3 taking place on the 30th anniversary, yet the direct quote is "30 years after Freddy Fazbears Pizza closed it's doors." I think it's important to distinguish that it's the anniversary of the closure, not the opening :3
So it takes place in 2015
@@Wizardjones69 That's my thought, tbh.
Yeah the "Summer Job" thing was a mistake on Scott's part. He's tried to make that clear multiple times. It was a mere flub when he was recording.
@@treyvonlavell7334 No like I said Jeremy is the victim and he's not Mike. It just that if you didn't know that these were mistakes ( wich I didn't) well it was not consistent with an open restaurant and as such open at a situation similar to the 6th night. That's all
@@magicpaul24 My bad. Sorry that I misunderstood you.
2015 most likely, 30 years after the mci
YES finally someone else who didn't think sb was set in 2030 or something because you can actually get the *fnaf 3 was in 2013 thing* a different way before fnaf sd (just a bit more complicating) but yeah fnaf games being super far into the future didn't make ANY sense to me because it just doesn't at all..
So am happy that someone else has said something about this :>
17:21 dont the email dates literally confirm that FNAF AR takes place in 2020? That should already confirm that FNAF3 and FFPS must take place years before 2020. Unless im missing something.
Multiple people have proved that Fnaf 3 Took Place in 2015 well I guess not proved but I was given a lot of evidence
So I think it all wraps up neatly.
i think the fnaf 1 events takes place in 2003 at best, phone guy talks about how the fnaf 1 animatronics have to sing stupid songs for 20 years, and freddy's opened in 1983
1983 + 20 = 2003 (which is pretty close to the movie events btw)
Is bro losing weight lately? He’s slimming up! Rye been baking
I always assumed it was 2015 for fnaf3. Not only is it the year the game came out, it's 30 years after the MCI. It was supposed to be 30 years after the tragic events.
30 years probably refers to the mci setting fnaf3 in 2015
Unless the MCI happened in 1983
@@ItsB1998 entirely possible
@@Harlez wait the mci in 83 would mean 83 would be packed bite BURNING OF FALL FEST THEN THE MCI LIKE WHAF
I think GiBi convincingly proved that Fnaf 3 happens in 2015
I have been waiting for this video for so long, since whenever I search up this topic I get “help wanted 2” instead
Yo I've watched so many theorists play help wanted, how have i only just now seen the dreadbear ending? Wild.
