I cannot get enough of this band at the moment, ever since I heard one of their songs a couple of months ago! Loving the energy, sounds, and vocals! Can't wait to hear more, and get a copy of their albums, and see them live.
That sound sold billions of records when I was a kid takes me straight back in time.
The keyboard guy is astonishing he layers in right next to the guitar to make a wholistic sound that unfathomable.
Love those layered background vocals that really just makes it.
You have a baritone and a tenors vocalist in there really shines..
Beyond impressed by this effort wow it literally brings tears to your eyes how good this is .
This kind of music has been lost in a time capsule for years and it really stirs something emotionally in you that just cant be replicated..

First time seeing Mecca. Pretty sweet find. A good day.
Have to say. Being an 80's metalhead, starting to think there's a rule comin to be. If the band looks like
+ Pretty cool neighbors, with nephews working their butts off to play with the band but just aren't quite there yet (beer and smiles, raise the glass to the youth).
+ Someone we met at a XYZ, Dokken or Extreme concert on an early tour 30 years ago.
+ Savatage before TSO existed. The overwhelming desire to yell out Taunting Cobras at the first TSO shows to see if we could get Alex to break out & play it. Scare the bejeebers out of the senior citizens who thought they were going to a holiday show.
+ Saw Type O open for Queensryche. Then spent 20 years going "how did we not know what we just witnessed?"
Well, the music's gonna be pretty d@#% good.

Great Song, Great Band! I understand there's not a lot of "million dollar video" budgets out there but you gotta lose the polo shirt. ;-) (and that's coming from a dude that's worn his share of them)
I know nothing about music production really but I must say this sounds very "high-end". Woulda been a hit in '85. Might still be today.
Yes….budgets are limited….but we had a GREAT videographer….and we had a blast doing this!!!!!
As a big 80's fan this would of been a hit during that time. Todays music is a bunch of garbage.

It's not a great album, but does have some good ideas and the first track is probably the best aor song this year (written by Vecchio/Denander).
The Jim Peterik written debut is a classic, but subsequent Mecca hasn't compared well as Vana is simply not a great songwriter.
Great aor lives and dies by great songwriting and Frontiers too often will go down the aor by numbers route without pushing for better material.
