Most of the singer of this era have lost there voice and just sound terrible today. For exemple, Vince Neil, Stephen Pearcy and Don Dokken are hard to listen. But Kip Winger, even if his voice tone has change à bit is still sound realy great and this album is fabulous.

@@rodrigoreis6314not necessarily. I sing for a living, smoked for 40 years, quit 6 months ago and my voice was NEVER better. Quitting did help some, of course. But Deen Castronovo is a chain smoker, 60 years old, and his voice just gets better and better! Listen to his band, Revolution Saints! He's hitting and holding out notes that Steve Perry could only do 30 years ago! Plus there are lots of singers who did not smoke and their voice has turned to crap! Look at Jon Bon Jovi. It is different with every vocalist.

I was watching America's Got Talent, and the Voice a couple of weeks ago and thought to myself, the judges would lose their minds if they heard a voice like Kip Winger!! If you don't sing falsetto, or sound like you where castrated when you where 10 years old, you would be SOL!!🤘Rock on brother!!

Let me guess you never liked Trixter either. Check out the last 2 Trixter CDs put out ....Winger Trixter Nelson were always way more talented than the big league overrated groups. Nelson is scorching live with Gunnar on drums and he blows away a lot of big league drummers. Winger was always top notch an sorry u wasn't hooked on those first 2 perfect cds....they had me hooked at Madelain video outta the box!

Wow, I thought they were long gone! So great to see Kip and the band back! I was 19 in 88' when "Seventeen" came out, I loved these guys and still do. Kip Winger still has a terrific voice, and still hits those high notes after all these years.

Album of the year for me. How nasty is that groove on Voodoo Fire! And Kip’s voice is just haunting. This record needs a lot of spins to hear everything that’s going on and that’s what i love about this band. Reb’s solo’s, the songs, it’s just killer!! Congrats Winger! I'm 57 listen to Winger in the 80's now in 2023 listening to a new Winger record and I love it, I have to agree , there's not a weak song , the playing on this record is brilliant and Kip's vocal's man wow, this record deserves to be heard its that damn good, " Judas mind and Jesus Heart " that's writing the battle good and evil love and hate , listening to the record now as I write , I just can't stop listening to it ,

I think that the new album by Black Smoke Trigger will also be the album of 2023. A few months ago i was able to listen to 5 songs in preview...they took my breath away!!
When does he take a breath during the chorus? Jon Roth on rhythm guitar again. They are now tuned down 1 step below standard. So, he's singing this actually in the key of G. His highest note is a D5. Pretty damn good.

I remember Winger would get an unfair amount of mockery for no good reason, the levels of musicianship in this band is phenomenal. I've changed many peoples minds on this band by recommending their 1992_1993 album "PULL" - an essential album for any hard rock fan. Great to see them still going strong.

Normally I keep my comments light, but this song is so beyond, it deserves more. My journey has me finding I've kept my emotions/creative side closed off for far too long & have been peeling back the layers to allow myself to feel again. Because of that, this song resonates with me deeply. All the concepts of good intentions/Judas mind at war with the Jesus heart/ and just giving myself permission to feel all of it pierces me. No clue how many times I've listened to it but I truly can't come up with words to do it justice. Much gratitude for all of the honesty, it's rare.

Incredible how their talents shine through compared to rehashed contemporaries. Beavis and Butt-Head was a funny joke but not based in reality at all.
OMG. Chills. So much talent. You guys are possibly the most underappreciated, unfairly overlooked, and unjustly maligned band in the history of rock.
*_"Pull"_* + *_"Karma"_* and now *_"Seven"_* all fall into that very short list of albums categorised as *_"absolute perfection"_* .
I can only hope that more and more folks get to hear tracks from this new album, and then realise what they have been missing all these years. My sincere thanks to you all 🍻🥃🥂

That the order I'd have those great albums. 1. Pull 2. Karma 3.Seven as my top 3. 👍
Karma has some killer tracks, but some fillers, too. But yes Pull and Seven have only highlights.

The album starts super strong, so it gives the impression, it's better than it really is.
Lyrically, I'm not entirely sure it gets any better than that. Stunning piece of music.

Love Frontiers Music for keeping this stuff alive. Winger was great in the 80s and is still great. Im glad I checked this out. They sound great. Buying the CD now
