The reporting is such a clown show. The F16 is couple of decades ahead of what Russia has in terms of of air power, it is not a numbers game, the F16s have proven themselves over Russian aircraft’s in many engagements, and specially in Israel Arab wars, and wars in Iraq. Russian aircraft’s and air defenses are powerless, this is a battlefield proven fact. Ukrainian pilots and ground crews have been training for more than 2 years on this, these are not fresh graduates from school, these are experienced pilots and ground crews who only need to learn English and transition to the new aircraft. If Russia think the war has been going badly for them so far, they have a whole lot of more pain coming their way because of the F16s.

Yes, the F16 is a great aircraft, but it's not a F22 so it can be tracked and shot at just like any other aircraft....and it will be targeted from both the ground and air with long range missiles, it's best defence is to stay low but that puts it at risk from manpads. Russia has much better air defence than those Mideastern countries the F16 has previously flown against. Look at the Vietnam war when the Soviets supplied their best air defence systems to the North Vietnamese, they shot down 10,000 American aircraft during the war.....ok most weren't fighter jets, but still plenty of them went down too.
