I am typing this the help of my grandson, Mike. I am 96 now. My father was a WW I veteran. He used to often say about the ingenuity and the rapid pace at which man is working to destroy himself. I witnessed this during WW II and miserably, I am seeing the ingenuity and the pace again.

Not needed to twist and turn since others knew, why Russia invade Ukraine because they use airstrike on resident area (rebel) during Ukraine civil War, that lasted for 8 years.
And the current govt of Ukraine never once won election but elect themselves after dethroned the legitimate govt using riots.
Russia have every rights to attack Ukraine since agreement exist between countries that breakaway from Soviet were Russia responsible to ensure peace inview the said country under attack or why Russia sent army to Khadastan as peacekeeper upon riots broke out in the city before they invade Ukraine.
#What? BUK is a defensive weapon, you cannot shoot others, if they not flying or how MH17 tragedy happen.
Then, how to justify, Ukraine govt were not using fighter jet on their own residents since the BUK parked between 2 condo?
Only idiots see Ukraine govt were the victim and not those rebel, that once rules Ukraine as govt.
      Russian puppet?
Then why Ukrainian vote him as pm and formed govt of Ukraine.
What? You mean Russian can vote in Ukraine election?
That mean how someone labelled as Russian puppet were from the opposition, so he could be dethroned..
If not, how the opposition elect themselves as the current govt of Ukraine without winning election?
Inshort, how the current Ukraine govt exist indeed lousy than those jailed in HongKong which won the election by landslide victory before that lady disqualified them with new implemented law cos Pro China cannot lose.

There is a limit to how big nuclear explosions can be and still be practical to use. Bombs the size of the Tsar Bomba and larger are so powerful that they break through the top of the Earth's stratosphere and dissipate the majority of their energy into outer space uselessly. Therefore, a more efficient way to use nuclear weapons is to use a number of smaller bombs scattered over a wider area. This fact is already known to nuclear powers. That is why bombs the size of Tsar Bomba will never actually be used in a nuclear war.

Nope they are practical for a torpedo deliver system. Look at status 6 nuclear torpedo, it can have a yield of 100 megatons. You only need a few to destroy all coastal US cities and islands and you don't even need to be accurate just explode near the target. And they are stealthy, and have a less complex delivery method compared to missiles.

The Tsar Bomba was designed purely as a 'statement' of Soviet capability. (And probably a 'warning' to the west) It has little military significance, today. That's the reason most nuclear weapons 'top-out' at around 10 megatons. Remember, thermonuclear weapons can be built, pretty much with unlimited power. It's extremely unlikely that any country has 50-100 megaton weapons. No need today, it's all about accuracy.

The damn thing is a museum piece, or rather a replica of a museum piece, they blew up the only Tsar Bomba ever actually produced. I wouldn't expect Putin to know that, he's a spook (KGB), not a military guy but he does know well enough he'll get a reaction out of the west talking about it as if they were real, to which I blame in part on western media sensationalism spreading it without fact-checking it first. Aside from rumored dead man's switch triggered world ending super-bombs, the largest known deliverable Soviet warheads maxed out at 25 megatons (using a Proton rocket!).

Russia has been at war with NATO on the territory of Ukraine since 2014. NATO occupied Ukraine and raised fascists from Ukrainians, just as the United States and Britain brought Hitler to power in 1933 and raised fascists from Germans. The scenarios are repeated, again Britain and the United States are pitting nations against each other for the sake of global influence. Russia will go all the way until the United States and Britain become democratic countries under the rule of the people, not corporations and oligarchs.

In the 50's and 60's, everyone was still acutely aware of the awesomely destructive power of an atomic bomb, because the USA, dropped two on Japan, to end the 2nd World War. Many said, after the bombing, the demonstration of the bomb's capacity to kill enormous numbers of people, that quite possibly, Japan would have capitulated. We have forgotten, over the years since then, the destructive capacity of a nuclear war. We have to give significant considerations to the issues that Russia considers to be an existential threat to them and enter into some form of diplomatic dialogue to prevent an insurmountable global disaster from taking place. We are about to run the complete course of waging this conventional was, such as it is... and the nuclear option is what's next.

    • @daveerwin115
      @daveerwin115 2 ปีที่แล้ว

If the west capitulates do you think this would be the end of it ?history shows that until the bluff is called the aggression will not stop. has the Allies stood up to Hitler in the very beginning (Annexation of Austria they may have has a nasty little war on their hands but it would have been short and decisive because hitler knew he wasn't ready for all out war at that point and would have been forced to back down. Same with Russia. Make Putin know unequivocally that his beloved motherland will be reduced to ashes if he uses a nuke and he will have to think long and hard. on the other hand the Russian Military will ask if they want a mad man to destroy their nation so he can pretend he is a tough guy. I seriously doubt the military believes any of his carefully crafted propaganda especially after the unfolding debacle in Ukraine.

“‭10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.”
      (Genesis 4:10, AV)
      Jesus comments further:
“‭3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. ‭4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; ‭5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. ‭6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. ‭7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?”

It was the Cold War that caused NATO's creation in 1949. Yet NATO continued to exist after the end of the Cold War. The organization even gained many new members, which enabled NATO to expand eastwards.
Twelve countries joined NATO after 1991: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania and Croatia. In addition, the former East Germany (GDR) became part of NATO through German reunification in 1990. Most of these newer NATO countries had been in military alliance with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the so-called Warsaw Pact. Russia did not like the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) becoming NATO members, as they had also previously been part of the Soviet Union. The same applies to Ukraine.
In 2008, NATO decided that Ukraine and Georgia should have the opportunity to become NATO members in the long term. This plan was frozen when Yanukovych became president in 2010, but resumed after he was ousted. In December 2014, Parliament decided that Ukraine should abandon its non-aligned status and work towards NATO membership.
Criticism of NATO's expansion to the east
Those who criticize NATO's eastward expansion point out that such expansion provokes Russia. The Russians feel surrounded by American military bases, and this creates an uncertainty that leads to a conflict. Attempts to incorporate Ukraine (and Georgia) into NATO therefore go too far.
NATO's eastward expansion may also be perceived by the Russians as a failure because it is in violation of a promise that American authorities made to the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
Former US Defense Secretary Robert Gates believes that the plans to include Ukraine and Georgia in NATO "undermine the purpose of the alliance and ignore what the Russians consider their vital national interests"

Nuclear bombs are detonated above the ground, not to lessen fallout, but to increase effectiveness of the blast. An explosion is a cubic, not square function, therefore, detonating the bomb at ground level will decrease the potential blast radius. This is why the US pursued accuracy vs size in the development of nuclear weapons. At the time the Tsar Bomba was developed, Russia had not yet been able to make gyroscopes that ensured reliable targeting of long range bombers. They opted for increasing the size of the blast to encompass objectives that would have been missed otherwise. However, in order to double the size of the blast radius, it is necessary to increase the size of the bomb by a factor of 4.

      @killman369547 ปีที่แล้ว

From a purely practical standpoint a 100 megaton bomb isn't necessary. Bombs approaching that size have the problem where the fireball they create is as wide as the earth's atmosphere is thick so a lot of it's energy is just thrown into space and wasted. There may be no theoretical limit to how powerful a bomb can be, but there is definitely a practical limit.

There is 3 actually. 1 used, 1 prototype and 1 not-completed (but chances are the 2nd and 3rd may already be completed with modern day technology easily).

nah... Russia and USA agreed not to make it after the test.. because its too strong but it was already weak given its original plan.

      How much did they build?
No nation has the same footage the same evidence of such a catastrophic conclusion
US & its nato are not easily intermediated, they have warships all over the world ready for combat yet they didn't have the balls to attack Russia, they never will.
