My POV of the Wrecker Games is coming out Sunday. I wish we could snap our fingers and have 100 hours of footage edited in 2 days, but don't worry it's coming. If you haven't seen the chaos the week of the Wrecker Games check this out th-cam.com/video/0z54mEdYKZg/w-d-xo.html
I think if every kid had parents like Matt and jamie this world would be a very different place. Keep being awesome guys, thanks for the awesome content as usual!
I can't help but second your nod toward Matt & Jamie.....They're real true "Salt of the Earth" People....The kind of folks you want for your forever friends....
Love how everyone is talking about the recovery/ POV of the wrecker games or how great of parent matt and jaymie are but im just totally amazed that i saw an offroad ae86 in 0:52
Jaymie is a trooper. Though she is still learning a few things ,she is the glue that holds MORR together. The respect that she and Matt have for each other is a love story we get to watch unfold in their videos.
I just wanted to thanks Matt and the team not only for all the help he has provided but for the lessons i've learned after watching all this rescues. After sticking in snow in my challenger i didn't spent hours looking for the hook and thinking i'm a blind idiot. PS I do not wright comments usually but this time i can't resist: place u r living in is absolutely fascinating: rocky mountains, deserts, lakes and it's all reachable - fantastic!
People like the Challenger's driver always amaze me, and I really wish they were willing tell their story. The fact that they drove as far as they did makes me think they were probably better off not wandering into the Utah desert on their own - completely oblivious to their surroundings.
@MindZye Well, she was doing contract work in that area for a few days. Being a fan of the beautiful scenery, combined with a complete absence of drivetrain functionality..it's a bad recipe. I was beyond grateful that Matt came along and helped her as he did. It was getting darker, colder and she was in the middle of nowhere. It was a feeling of tremendous relief. I briefed her very clearly and succinctly about using THIS vehicle in such a scenario. Her usual car is an AWD suv.
Jamie seems like such a great partner in anything. Speaking as someone who has been married for 36 years having that ancor in you life and north star helps give you the courage to spread your wings yet keeps you grounded enough you don't fly to close to the sun. Those who have it will understand what I mean, sometimes we try ot overstep our reach and our wives bring us back to reality.
Jamie is such a sweet intelligent kind hearted person, the kind of woman you'd want for a Mom....Rett is so fortunate to have these two as parents....God Bless you Matt and Jamie....
I love watching Jamie driving any of the vehicles off road she is awesomeness in any vehicle she climbs into. I also love watching the pup’s and seeing how happy they are being so called abused, seem to me this kind of abuse is so much better than being left at home in a cage and then the owner comes home to walk their pup for a short distance on a leash, so the dog basically gets no exercise and becomes way over weight. Hhhmmmm it sure is a odd world we live in.
I've never seen a comment saying the dogs are mistreated, but I've read many reports of them existing, and I don't even know what they might be refering to!
@JoJo matt often lets the dogs run alongside the truck, sometimes when its hot outside. They get water, we just don't see it most of the time on camera. That's the reason for most of the complaints.
I loved how Matt jumped in the car with the remote for the winch. With the new wrecker, the radios and the remotes he’s starting to make everything look easy😂
Loved that "not rental car friendly" that Matt said. It is so true and the rental agency should add something to their rental agreements about driving in the desert. It wouldn't do any good 👍. Wrecker games were outstanding and your team did a great job putting the whole thing together. She is great. She wants to learn to drive the wrecker better. Let her use it to go grocery shopping that will build her driving skills. Thanks for everything!
Jamie is such a trooper and a blessing. She's not afraid to get down and dirty to get the job done.. even when wearing flip flops 😄 I have no doubt she was able to get back and pull off an amazing dinner cheerfully and on time. I have to wonder if the vehicle rental companies in that area have a clause about driving their vehicles off-road. Matt is truly blessed to have a great family and crew to do the work with him. Thanks for the effort it takes to bring us along. Stay safe and GOD bless
I intentionally have not watched any of the Content Vultures videos of the Wrecker Games because I want to support the proper channel to watch the event. Excited for Sunday's video from MORR!!!!!
Thanks Matt and crew for all you do. I was so happy to see so many good people having a great time and an event. And so sorry the loss of one of your team.
I have been watching since early on during Covid and am hooked. I could comment on so many things but today I'm highlighting Peanut. That dog seems so friendly. All during the wrecker build she kept leaping up onto one of those huge tires almost like she wants to be the center of attention. Or whenever people are standing around she gets gets right in the middle of them. Such social loyal critters, that also makes it easier to get pet if you just get right in the middle of everybody. She's always got that ant eater tongue going trying to give doggy kisses. Just say her name and the tongue starts going. I'm no dog expert but I love dogs but I am allergic to them. I still pet them but have to immediately wash my hands right after doing so. I think Peanut is a border collie and seems to be a popular dog out in Utah as Lady seems to be the same breed and Paul from Fab Rats has one too. I also like Rudy's little Frenchie, Gus I believe is the name of that little stinker.
I appreciate how much you all do to provide upbeat and informative content. I come here to escape negativity and can count on this channel to inspire and motivate me to be better at finding ways to make the world around me just a little bit better.
Hey matt your wrecker was a beast at the games, Kudos to You & your WHOLE team.... Ty 4 Everything! 🐊🇺🇸🔧👍👍 🚬🐧 P.s. matt, I have been w/my love over 32 years now but seeing you and Jamie together really makes me smile sometimes cause there is NO denying the magic you both have for each other it's a Beautiful thing...
Think about it. The entire team was out there climbing all over the place to get content from various angles. Actually five teams were doing that for their channels. Then those same people have to compile all this footage and cut out all the bad shots to make a good video for publishing. The weekend itself would be exhausting let alone having to go through probably the most content they have ever had to compile for a weekend. On top of that they have to grieve for their lost teammate and deal with that closure probably this week as well. There should be no complaints as you don’t have to pay for any of this content. Have some respect for a great bunch of people trying to do positive things in this world. They will publish it when it’s ready and it will be worth the wait.
The New Huge wrecker made a good showing at Wrecker Games. Matt cracks me up wearing short sleeves and everyone else is dressed in heavy coats and hats.
That wrecker would be awesome with selectable steering. I have operated lots of equipment that lets you quickly switch from front, rear, opposing, and crab steering by turning a dial. It keeps steering on the wheel so you still have a free hand. I love the wrecker and thanks for what you do.
i seen in another video it does, and has different settings to follow the front and a stick to drive it independently. but i could have no idea what im talking about.
A position sensor on the front, and a small logic circuit would solve that. I bet thousands of guys here would be able to put something together with just a few bucks in hardware. I sure would have a blast making something like that. I am not in the timezone, or anywhere near, so I guess I would not be a candidate.
I’m pretty sure the rear steer is manual off the switch. But, now has auto center if you want. For what they’re doing having it manual on the switch is handy. Sometimes you want to steer only the rear and it’s easier to just do that instead of having to work a dial to get what you want on the fly. And, with it being an auto they’ve got a free hand anyway. I suspect they’ll do a setup like monster trucks use where the switch is on a handle that’s mounted to the dash. That way they’ve got something to hold onto for support and can easily control the rear.
Very nice to so Matt treating the Women in his life with respect and always helping them step up and try something new. Tells Jamie hope in that New tow rig and drive it. No sign of worry he knows they can do it and is there for them. Good old school guy that respects the lady's in his life.

Jamie is correct. That wrecker is well built and works so well. When you tested a 5-ton army truck a year ago, it was terrible in the sand. It would bounce before it drove well. I would never want to have that type of rig. So, I was apprehensive about your new one. It has turned out to be the best for the job. It seems to climb the rocks better than any other vehicle. Great recoverys!! You and Jamie are so compatible!! Not every woman would have anything to do with off-road ... anything. She seems to enjoy it almost as much as you do. It's great to see you two working together!!!!
I have struggled to not watch the wrecker games on anyone else's channel. That being said I'm staying strong to see it here first Matt 💪👍👍 love the channel and the content.
Jamie is great! She drives that wrecker like a Boss! Rear steer is a challenge at first, but its easy once you do it a bit and get some muscle memory. Be safe and love from Texas.
1) you need YELLOW on the back 2) you need a display on the dash that tells you where the rear wheels are pointed... 3) Amazing vehicle, amazing work!!

Judging by the squat on your F350, you may need to upgrade to an F450-F550, when pulling that Big Wrecker. Or. Maybe a gooseneck.
Yes saw that instantly thought he needed to upgrade his suspension or yeah buy a 350 or 450
He needs a proper trailer to haul his heavy wrecker, before he has a catastrophic event, like Ben Cox, or before he gets the shakedown from the HWY Patrol.
He already owns a Freightliner truck that should be able to handle it.
Love Jamie’s willingness to learn. Just let her learn!! Give her the time of you can afford it.

Right?? It’s TH-cam gold to be used at a trickle for months. A major investment that needs to pay off over time.
@@Hammerdak nah IDTS
They are just relatively slow.. As also can be seen on the roof of the wrecker
But i won’t complain.
Wow! The sheer force of the wrecker starting knocked the camera over.
You look good in that Challenger Matt. I think MORR needs one of them that you lift and then turn into a recovery vehicle.
Peanut Loves Matt, the way she reacts around him is so dang cute 🤗
Jamie is #1. She drove the big wrecker on its first recovery. Another notch in her list of accomplishments.
It’s not the wreckers first recovery
Jaymie looks great in Her new wrecker!
You going to replace the front windshield? No judgement just wondering if it bothered you?
I think It looks good, just like Paul's Fj.
I'm sure he will eventually. Given the age of the vehicle (the cab) it's from, it'll probably have to be custom made.
I like the smiley face on the hood of the wrecker as you're looking out
You should teach Peanut how to lock the hub so you don’t have to get out 😂
I’m glad you guys are using the old version of the jeep. I heard that the new ones are junk!!!!!
S
Great recoverys!! You and Jamie are so compatible!! Not every woman would have anything to do with off-road ... anything. She seems to enjoy it almost as much as you do. It's great to see you two working together!!!!
Nice work Jamie. Glad you took Matt along too show him the ropes!
Won't be long and Jamie will be handling the wrecker like a pro.
1) you need YELLOW on the back
2) you need a display on the dash that tells you where the rear wheels are pointed...
3) Amazing vehicle, amazing work!!
"Hope we have enough recovery gear"
9 12,000 lb winches in unison: "Are we nothing to you?"
Marvin, Where I come from, that phrase you just said is pronounced "What am I Chopped Liver ? " Have a good Day.
Good on ya, getting the family involved and teaching your boys a good work ethic. Well done.
Good on Matt for taking that lady all the way. He could tell she wasn't feeling comfortable about driving out and he says, no worries I got you.
Plus he liked the car.
Jaymee is amazing. She's a mom, wife, and boss. Always willing to step in if asked.
Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would buy a 2WD Tacoma truck (or any 2WD pickup for that matter).
As always, thanks for sharing.
Steve
I think they initially think they won't need 4wd
@@luvonondlazi4172, Yep. But I learned many decades ago that having options is usually a really good thing.
Money. Couple thousand dollars' savings, matters for some people in some applications. Simpler too.
thanks for getting the wrecker running before i died.! looks amazing
