Bought asta option 1.2 and driven for 2 weeks now..fantastic car ..refined engine...feels so much more premium in quipment with far better build quality compared to baleno.

I own an petrol elite i20 sportz for over 2 years now. Here is my unbiased take- (coz im not a ‘fan’ of any brand nor do i endorse any brand)- am i satisfied with the car? Yes. Will i ever buy another hyundai if i want to upgrade to another segment? Answer is no. The advantages- great quality of plastics used and attention to detail. Stylish and really feel premium when you sit inside. Super refined engine. Super quiet when in idle although some noise seep in while driving. Great AC. Light steering wheel. Very cheap and reliable to maintain. These 2 yrs never had any issue at all. Just normal oil change and drive. Only issue i had is the left fog lamp went out. Got it replaced. Feature rich for that price. Very comfortable to drive or as passenger in highways/long drives. Disadvantages: pretty boring to drive if you are an enthusiast. 2nd gear is basically dead. When you floor it it just doesnt move. Picks up speed very slowly. After few practices you will get used to it but still make you feel not confident when executing a quick overtaking. Slow moving traffic- better drive in first gear or youl stall the car if in second gear. Horrible mileage compared to the competitors. Getting like 13-13.5 in city driving. Overall take- good car, stylish, reliable. But boring to drive, low mileage

Could you please reduce the volume of that music and increase the volume of your voice a little. It's hard for us to hear your voice and when we increase the volume to hear you speak, the volume of music is too loud. Just equalise your speech and music volumes. It's a little odd.

For an experienced reviewer like you i was disappointed that you didn't mention some major changes in the 2018 model. From what I could see in this video the front grill, new alloy design, the headlight assembly, the rear seat arm rests, the new rear led tail lamp cluster and I could also see ISOFIX child seat mounts on the rear seats and I am sure there would have been a few other changes as well. Pretty incomplete review from a respected reviewer I would say.
I also own the new Elite i20 Asta(O) White and really satisfied with the car... topnotch fit & finish, best in class ride quality with best in class refined engine along with luxurious features
Just booked red asta...on road in Bangalore 8.71.... Absolutely had to bargain my ass off for a mere 5k discount...wat all accessories should i ask from d dealer...?
Hyundai servicing is expensive. Clutch plates are costly. Brake pads needs replacement after every 10000 km. On My i20 i have spent nearly 1.4 lacs for servicing in 5th year.
Its because of we have right hand drive so light will come in the right side if the light will placed on the both sides you cannot see the visuals perfectly the camera positioning is like that anyhow the rear parking light is powerful and visible no need to worry about it.
I20 is best option for safe car if you have doubt please got to the nexa showroom and check the door and bonnet of baleno its like paper towels so bee safe always
