- The Hyundai Elite i20 has got a mid-life facelift which includes just minor tweaks to the exteriors and interiors while the engines are tuned to provide better fuel economy. The Elite i20 continues to remain a premium offering and it looks quite good while the equipment list is pretty loaded and Hyundai has been providing some really useful features on the vehicle.
The 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 comes with either a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine or a 1.4-litre CRDI diesel engine. While the former gets a 5-speed manual gearbox, the latter gets a 6-speed manual transmission. Both the engines offer good driveability but it is the diesel engine which really shines when it comes to performance, efficiency and refinement.

I like i20.
I usually don't watch any other Automobile channel except MotorBeam and Faisal Khan.
But today I watched another channel reviewing this car. And after watching that video I can assure this that whether it is Faisal Khan or MotorBeam, both of the channels are the BEST amongst all.
Faisal Khan channel gives all the information one may need before buying the vehicle and that too in a very raw and friendly manner. Where as MotorBeam gives u all the information to the point. As in no faltu bakwas, only information which r important.
Other channels show every thing except the cons of the vehicle. In short they talk crap and does not provide the negative points of the vehicle, still their videos are way too long and boring. Whereas MotorBeam is the channel which provides full review with pros and cons of the vehicle in a very professional manner and that too in short videos which neither wastes the time of the viewers nor they get boring!

The only worst thing about Hyundai Xcent and i20 is the horn switch bar which is hard as a rock. Its fucking hard that your hand will scold you everytime when you hit the horn button. You have to press really hard literally.
While the santro and swift/Dzire has much much much better steering horn controls(i am talking only for horn switch/control on steering).
The horn switch in xcent and i20 has also some problem that it shorts automatically and makes your horn honk continuously without you pressing it while in driving or sometime even when parked. I have observed it both on my brother in law's Xcent and an i20 of other residents.
Hyundais service centre guys says there's is no problem at all.
But thats definitely a problem in both the models as both are having same steering.

I don't like the i20 petrol in terms of it's gearbox and engine performance because it's not even as smooth and quick as our 7 years old Maruti Ritz petrol. Everything else is pretty good.. No offense.. :)

What a bang for the buck every bell & whistle is restricted only to the top end asta O variant, even the asta doesn't get the rear wiper and magna misses out on bluetooth as well😤 i mean seriously what was Hyundai engineer were thinking or were they dozed off, the car that prices 8.5 lakhs otr for the diesel magna variant doesn't even have Bluetooth 😂 😂.
