Wonderful video!... Since this is a personalized item, wouldn't you have to set your printify shipping settings to "manual fulfillment" instead of automatic?

Hi! I've been working a POD shop since September. I found myself getting hints and tips along the way. This caused me to "start over" several times. Still and all, I was getting a lot of likes and views but only a few sales. I refuse to give up because I've gotten a lot of positive feedback (but no conv.) After watching your video today, "research" was evidently an abstract concept. but you spelled it out. What a huge "OH, that's what they mean" Wow, teach me like I'm four. I'm not insulted, sometimes it takes just the right language and demonstration for even the kindergarten student to valedictorian to understand. This was a very helpful video. I am a crafter but new to Canva and trying to figure it out. So I am a bit confused about Printify...is that a site that takes your design and prints it on the desired product and ships for you? Or do they ship the product to you and you print it out and put it on yourself by sublimation when you get the sales?

I just started something similar using Printify and teemill, however with the personalized mug that you demostrated in your video, how can you make the product customizable, lets say someone wants to buy the mug from you but wants to change the names on it? How would you be able to do that with printify? If its possible.

Thank you for watching! and personally I do because it's a good feeling creating with no limitations & I saw that because if you don't have the natural gift of designing then I would recommend getting the pro versions. I had to learn how to be a better graphic designer and so the pro features helped me with that

Very detailed! One question, (the shipping and unit price printify charges) added together will be subtracted from your selling price? if so, then what is left would be your profit?
I think the shipping is separate.
It says her profit is $11.34 and Printify is going to charge her $5.66 for the item. $11.34 + $5.66 = $17.00 which is what she set as the retail price.
I’m wondering if the buyer has to pay for shipping or if she has to pay for it as the seller. Because if she’s paying for the shipping then she’s getting less than $2.00 in profit at the end of everything.
I’m pretty sure the buyer pays for the shipping 🤞🏻

Quick question: Since this is a personalized mug, how are you notified of the personalization the customer wants? Then do I have to go back to Canva to create the personalization and post it back to Printify?

For your first question, in your Etsy order (on the back end) you’ll see the personalized note
Secondly yes, personalization requires you to manually change the original design every time. So I suggest just duplicating the design as your orders come in
does printify customize the mugs when ppl add their names ? or do you have to be the middle person and send their information to printify?
How does the customisation work? Like I uploadet an Image to the Printify Design and not editable Text or something. Do I just get the order and put the Custom Design onto the product manually?

Great question, I currently have mockups I've used from creative fabrica but I just monitor it and make sure the mockups don't look to AI
