So happy for you! That first $100 is so exciting. Keep going girl! Been doing Etsy for 2 years and I’m just now crossing over into $670+ in revenue! Took awhile , and many see $1,000 + in a matter of months, but I just been teaching myself , trying to stay consistent. Gotta stay in MY lane lol. Pinterest was a game changer!! It will definitely bring sales. Keeping my Etsy ads ON also has been a game changer! I used to turn them on and off.
This is the most realistic POD video I've seen, almost all of them try to state that you'll be making thousands of dollars each day, and then plug a course in or some other utilities they offer. This video is showing honest growth, what it probably looks like for the majority of people who are putting in lots of effort.
Love the fact that you're sharing "realistic" results. So much of TH-cam is cluttered with "I made 6 figures in 60 days" type of content. And while I'm not knocking that as it does happen for some, it's not the norm and makes everyone else feel like they don't have what it takes. #SoNotTrue The steady turtle still wins the race. Omg so true like when I see those kind of videos it actually discourage me and make me feel just give up, but im glad I am seeing realistic sales and business and im not in the same boat to know that im not doing anything wrong and my business is going good on track

After doing Etsy myself, I honestly think those " I made 6 figures in 60 days" are cap or they live with their parents and have no bills and no job because it's work and there's competition on top of it.

I LOVE the transparency because running a successful shop isn't always the overnight success story that people love to sell. I've had a couple of different Etsy shops and concepts, taken LONG breaks, and recently reopened a few months ago. I also work full time and don't plan on quitting anytime soon so I TOTALLY get those days when you just don't have it in you. My focus next year is the Three Ps: Planning, Prioritizing, and Producing. (I just made that last P up while I typed this. LOL) I have a lot of ideas I need to just try out. I completely revamped my dead and forgotten Etsy store a few weeks ago (basically a newbie to Etsy) and found this really helpful as far as what to expect with growth and what to focus on, especially when also working a 9-5. Thank you for mentioning the fact that it's ok to not hustle all the time and take a break. I have one sale so far (from family lol) but I've been slowly adding things and am excited to see what growth happens.

I’ve been on Etsy since Jan with a full time job doing POD. I have made over 800 sales, 30K revenue. I feel like I work on my shop all the time and the biggest problem I have with continuing is copycats. Every time I gain traction with a listing someone swoops in and copies it and lists below my price. I’ve reported several shops and listings and have been successful getting some taken down but then they will file false counter claims on you. I have found my designs and mockup photos on random internet stores, it’s crazy how scummy people are. It’s a very cut throat business to be in and not sure if I think it is worth continuing. I said I would give it a year so we will see how q4 treats me and will decide then.

If you made 30k in revenue the energy you placed in filings claim put that in your shop sorry people lie steal and cheat but I can care less I am now starting in Etsy and if someone steals my things I can care cause they are very creative and can care less cause God knows all things and my shop will flourish regardless what will be for me will always be for me so no can change this or take away from it so know this congratulations and continue to do great and worry less on those things

I was banned from etsy when I launched my stire within the 1st 24 h, without notice, nor explanation, that was 3 years ago, as a stay at home mother with 3 kids, you gave me hope, obviously I cannot use etsy, but you gave me the feeling that I can do it too, I don't know how to start and where to start, but thanks for sharing, new subbie here 🎉🎉
Just fyi Etsy will often ban new accounts to make sure you’re not a spam or robot account. If you appeal the ban they will (usually) reinstate the account within a week. So don’t take it is you are banned for life or that you did anything wrong

Just started my Etsy shop and I am sooo excited. When I saw your first 16$ there I felt proud. I have watched a lot of videos until now and all of them are just being extra. How I make 10k a week, how sell a lot of products, bla, bla. I bet those are people who barely make revenue out of their shop. They make money out of selling lies online. I hope you become more succesful and I hope soon I can see those 16$ in my shop as well. 🥺

So I sold print on demand which doesn’t take much artistic skills tbh so that’s why I was able to increase my number of listings
