So, not only could the Bengals have drafted Drew Brees instead of Carson Palmer 2 years later, but the Saints "technically" didn't lose that draft pick, they just loaned it out for a few years.

GARCIA was better than FLUTIE, and what about DAVE DICKENSON, who was GARCIA's replacement? He ends up in TRAINING CAMP with FLUTIE & DREW BREES in 2002 in San Diego. Dickenson's stats looked great in the preseason, his career in the CFL is legendary as well. CFL has garbage QB's now compared to the 1990's & 2000s decades. 2005 Vikings first round pick Troy Williamson was pretty awful. He was supposed to be Randy Moss's replacement, but had the worst case of butterfingers you'd ever seen.
