Rear door stuck closed on ford f250 f350 superduty supercab

This video really helped me help my dad. He has a 2006 f250 super duty pickup. It’s in great condition but the rear passenger door would not open. Finally got it open and was able to fix it like new! Thanks for your help!

So both my cables are still attached without this problem but my door won't open wtf situation over here

The cable on mine poped out from the bottom lever can’t reach in and get it open
