Suspicious timing of this “ground stop” when possible overbooking and holiday delays could force AA into paying back travelers under the new FAA rules UNLESS the FAA happens to waive the penalties for passenger safety concerns. What a coincidence that AA ‘discovers’ this safety issue at the peak of holiday travel without specifically identifying it except for saying it’s “technical.”
It was a technical issue there computer system stopped working i am on a flight rn a321 t and i saw them trying to fix it. It took about 4 hours on the ground but we are on our way now.
This is why I reuse to travel during the holidays. Wanna see your families? Sporadically travel throughout the year, so that you don’t have to do all the hellish holidays season travel with millions of others who crammed “family time” into the week of Christmas. It’s not worth the headaches of traffic, cancelled flights, snowstorms, public meltdowns, system outages, and lost luggage.
@@v1sudo either: 1.) trade days off with another coworker 2,) save your PTO or vacation time for other holidays, or 3.) Get a job with more flexible options for days off. Everything in life is centered around choices.
Try looking at other news sources people. CNN reports that it was a “Weight and Balance” calculation software issue that prevented them from boarding flights. You should be glad the airline thinks of your safety first. If an aircraft load is not properly balanced, it could make it nose-heavy or tail-heavy, and make the most critical parts of flight (takeoff and landing) extremely dangerous. You’ve all probably seen that video of the National Flight 102 Boeing 747 come crashing down shortly after takeoff because the military equipment it was carrying was unbalanced and all the weight shifted to the tail of the plane, making the nose shoot up sharply and stall, and nosedive down into the ground. You’re welcome.
probably taking a page out of the car industry with the recalls to boost their safety image... the fact that consumers are so naive to fall for these stuff just tells how education has fallen in the country.
Was there a threat that they are not sharing ? Stay thankful if you are unable to fly. There's a reason.

What if I can only get off work for the holidays
I'm not even leaving my house, so I don't have to deal with the drivers either

Technical issue for ALL flights?? Hmmmm 🧐
Utube finally allowing comments?
Nah, they’re still deleting some…happened to me again yesterday.
Just happened to me today!
Did they get hacked?
Not sure. It sounded like garbage reporting to me. They just wanted to be the first to report this "news" I guess.
@@ICallItAsItIsIt’s supposedly a technical issue bugging them, so they stopped all flights for safety
@@ICallItAsItIsThey also did it before, along with Delta and United.
So report on something you know nothing about. Something grounded because of something something, but we don't know why. Excellent news reporting!!!
I didn't know they were grounded so that was good info
This was a temporary problem and was fixed hours ago 😊

This report definitely needed "paragraph guy" to comment for the actual story. Thanks!
Yes, thanks for an actual report of the news that includes the details. Thumbs up for you, and not the video.
Ufo's provide alternative flights for those affected!
This “technical issue” is ruining Christmas for so many of us!
China.
But they won't say why. Never fly them again.
They would lie anyway
No it was there computer system broke or got hacked and i know cause i was on a flight when it happened and saw piolts trying to fix the problem
Christmas should actually be a time of hope. But what's happening at Amerika Airlines is just sad. I feel very sorry for the passengers.
🙏♥️🎄🇺🇲
good excuse to give their workers a christmas break.
Bet John Boy and Billy knows what's happening.baaaahhhhaaaaa
Saftey is not nu.bwr one with these airlines and will never be number one. Over selling flights will always be top priority.
Way to ruin some people's Christmas
Blame China.
American airlines is bad enough.
Wow
TALKED ALOT BUT DIDN'T SA S..T!!! SOUNDS LIKE A TREND!!!
