Love Alex's Moon Boots! Perfect flat repair! You all did an excellent job on this pond. Very lucky family to have hired you professionals. Keep up the great work guys, and keep having fun.
Nice project! Just have a when you install a wetland filter do you still need a skimmer? Since the bio box suck in all the fish waste and other stuffs and the water pump suck all the water to the waterfall. It’s same as skimmer.
Hi you do great work. Keep it up.. I have a question on wetland filters. I am enlarging my fish pond by 21 x 23. I have a pond already which is 8 x 28 and adding the 21 x 23 to it. I wanted to find out if I can have the wetland filter water level even with the pond itself. Not higher than the pond. In other words being part of the pond like a small bay. The water from the wetland would still flow up though the 3 layers of gravel like it should with a wetland filter but there would be pond water from the pond already on top of the gravel mixing with the water flow coming up though the wetland. There would be 8 inches in depth of pond water over the wetland filter. I also wanted to do it this way so the fish can come into that part of the pond. I know most use a water fall or a stream to flow back into the pond but I was wondering if this would work.
Yes, this can absolutely work. I would be sure to have some source of aeration and circulation if you have not already considered it. Sounds like a fun project 👍
Biofalls with intake bay setup? What size biofalls? Also where did you get the aerator/bubbles? What is the name of Aerator? Apprx How many gallons is the pond? Also how many aquabloxs in the intake? And what size pump? Thank you. Built many koi ponds but next week we start at Swim pond. Can't decide if I should do intake/ wetlands or biofalls/ intake bay.
@@pondscapesaz thank you. Do you think I should do the 6000 biofalls or a wetlands. They plan well the one grandkid plans to swim in it. Not much room for a wetlands and they are screening it in.
@@MrDraper38 All depends on how much space you have to work with and how many gallons the pond will be. Sounds like a wetlands is not gonna be an option in this scenario.
What a great job. It looks so inviting. Great save gentlemen!
I love how it turned out. ❤
Wow that’s beautiful, omg the homeowners & his determination to have a pond.
Thank you! And yes he was 👍
The earth is still and motionless. Water is one proof
Amazing! 🤩
Wish you would have talked some on the installation of the intake bay, that's why I watched this video

Even with the hurdles of the heat and nails in the treads we had a great time creating this Oasis In The Desert! Thank you for watching 👍
Another great video!!!! I can just imagine how much fun all that tamping was in record heat
Those wing wall rock makes the waterfall pop. I really want an intake Bay on my pond
The rock work is not only for the waterfall. We love the opportunity to “paint away” from the feature with rock work.
Awesome job Ralph looks amazing 😍👍👌
Thank you!!

Thank you 🙌
"We got a flat" 😂 Pond turned out great 👍
Thank you Nick. Got to watch out for those construction nails!
@@pondscapesaz why can't you keep a deep koi pond? what is the problem if it is 4 or 4.5 feet deep?
@@pondscapesaz and what are the different sizes of rocks used in this particular project?
@@lifechallenger2 you can go deeper. However the pond dimensions should be wider. A deeper pond just cost more and is not necessary for most yards.
@@lifechallenger2 we used a variety of boulders ranging from 50lbs to 650lbs
Can’t wait til December!
We are also really excited to create something amazing for your mom.

Aquascape biofalls 6000, Aquascape Pro60 aeration, approx 3k gallons, 6 small aquablox, waterfall is a 9PL pump, good luck on the pond build 👍

Are the jets on seperate pumps or on the main pump with offshoots
On this pond the jets are on a separate dedicated pump.
Do you have to worry about the earth edges on the walls collapsing? Or do they hold themselves up when full?
No issues to worry about when rock work is built inside of the excavation and back filled tightly.
I'm saving him. Lmao 🤣
👏
Are you going to watch this?......yep
Best comment RALPH
Sometimes it hurts to watch your hard work get “undone” 😬
@@pondscapesaz true that
What does a pond like this run?
Not very fast it’s built into the ground 🤣
Starting point would be 25k.
The nail was pretty big you probably sould have replaced that whole track or the operator🌞
The track should be fine and with the weather cooling the operators should be fine 😜
How much could something like this cost
A starting point for something like this will be in the 25k range.

Got a long way to go but thank you Bill 👍
