    Great tour - Another boat to keep a close eye on this year.

      Cheers Dan. Difficult not to be a fan of Quarken isn't it!

    Kvarken (Swedish spelling), the most narrow part of the Gulf of Bothnia between Sweden and Finland!

      Quite right! I actually prefer the original Kvarken but Quarken is deemed easier to pronounce and more "international".

    Outboards on a Euroboat that aren't Cox diesel. I'm starting to understand Euroboat makers less and less on the topic.

      No one wants diesel outboards, that's why.

      @@kirkwilliams4942 what I can't understand is why, though. More range.

    Fold out seats need a backrest so you don't fall overboard , don't need 2 galleys , especially diesel fired , front Sunpad is kind of funky , like if you're out in the ocean you have a tray with glasses and champagne balanced on a cushion , some of these boat builders are way out on their ideas just to sell the product !

      I’m guessing seats are only down when you’re not underway. Alex did say that the outside galley can be spec’ed as a bench so if you don’t want a galley you don’t need to have it. The tray with glasses is just for show. I doubt anyone sensible will have that while underway.

    What do people use as sheets for those odd-sized mattresses? Or do they use sleeping bags?

    • @ianscott3180
      @ianscott3180 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You pay the builder a fortune to get sheets that fit.

    That diesel tank is going to take a beating with that nozzle and hose that sticks out. It would suck if it sprung a leak.

    • @kirkwilliams4942
      @kirkwilliams4942 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why would it take a beating? Just be careful or build a small protection cover.

    Just so costly and difficult to get to the USA. We want one bad.
