There has to be a cut-off point between "worse" and "much worse, ie. bad". If Jordan had a son that averaged 18 and 7, would he belong in this list too? It just feels like this video would have been a lot better with fewer players mentioned while spending more time on each one.
Sabonis have potential to become a star in the NBA..... he wasted his first few years with stupid team management when he could have been utilized more. He's got the talent for sure and starting to show what he's capable of.
Sabonis has no reason to be here, especially that high. His father is a legend but Domantas is already a great player and still at the beginning of his career.
Larry nance is a good player every time he starts he always plays very well recently he had his career high hes a good passer defender and rebounder and hea becoming a good shooter his dad may have been better but nance jr is still really good
They weren’t as great as their father but if 3 of your sons made it to the NBA (and 2 other sons played pro ball in the G league and overseas) that’s a success story, regardless of how elite they were in the league. Brent Barry got 2 championships w/ the Spurs and he and Jon each played for well over a decade in the NBA. I wasn’t even alive when Rick Barry played but that family is clearly a resounding sports success story.
Being talented enough to play basketball at an NBA level is a major accomplishment no matter who your father is. "Much worse" is way too harsh considering these guys still made it to the NBA.
It’s actually a fair comparison. When your pops was a perennial all star and you only played 4 games, that’s Much worse
@@antwanthorogood4921 you should get into the NBA before criticising.
“How’s your relationship with your father, Domantas?”
“Very well.”
I’m shocked that Danny Schayes was in the NBA for 18yrs!!!!
I feel that this is one of your weakest videos, Andy. You rush through most players (Tim Hardaway Jr chucking up a lot of shots while in the Knicks isn't exactly a great argument) and a few of them (the aforementioned TMJr, Domantas, Brent Barry, I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two) don't really belong in this list.
There has to be a cut-off point between "worse" and "much worse, ie. bad". If Jordan had a son that averaged 18 and 7, would he belong in this list too? It just feels like this video would have been a lot better with fewer players mentioned while spending more time on each one.
Sabine’s is 23 and an All Star
Why Is he here
7:05 Ball looks like a grapefruit in his hand.
Sabonis have potential to become a star in the NBA..... he wasted his first few years with stupid team management when he could have been utilized more. He's got the talent for sure and starting to show what he's capable of.
Why the heck is Sabonis on this list. The man is about to be a 2 time All Star.
Sabonis has no reason to be here, especially that high.
His father is a legend but Domantas is already a great player and still at the beginning of his career.
GP2 IS A CHAMPION
I remember making Patrick Ewing Jr an all-star in 2k11 or 2k12 one of those early ones
Michael Gowieńczyk never an all star, but did compete in the dunk contest....
The list is 16 players who aren’t as good as their fathers. So you should be numbering the sons not the fathers.
so happy GP2 finally made it xD
Why is Damontas Sabonis on this list???
Because his dad is better than him
@@Z_hri His dad was never all-star and he said this is about NBA careers. Maybe he was better in the euro league but not NBA.
@@luke7277 never like Shaq. Those were good battles. Him and Vali DiVac.
Luk3 yeah he was learn basketball please
Sabonis an all star
Charles Boi your point? His dad was an mvp caliber player.
@@Cavsfan02 I think you missed Anyd compliments lol
Sabonis is better than most of the players on this list
Andy this vid kinda makes your credibility suspect after the sabonis pick
An honorable mention should have been
Gary Payton & Gary Payton Jr.
No way should Sabonis be anywhere near this list...
Why is Tim Hardaway Jr on here
he is worse than his dad, simple as that.
Ryan Archer yeah but he a good player and can get 16-19 points
@@gangtime8705 Doesn't matter, he is worse than his dad
@@gangtime8705 not the point of the video. Why so hard to understand?
@@gangtime8705 is that the point of the video?
What Sabonis doing on this list?
And this video is the biggest missed, Ball family joke ever
But their Dad wasn't good...
That's also the part of the joke lol
Domantase Sabonis will be a beast in future.
In all aspects of life, the father is relatively always better than their children
How tf is Sabonis on this yr? He's an all-star now
Domantas and Tim Hardway Jr shouldn’t be here
and austin
Larry nance is a good player every time he starts he always plays very well recently he had his career high hes a good passer defender and rebounder and hea becoming a good shooter his dad may have been better but nance jr is still really good
He's a decent Bench player on a bad team definitely way less than his father was
true statement, very underrated
who the Fuck is this you dont watch cavs games ydk shit
jerry cruz how tf is he going bald
That nance Sr dunk photo is nice asf
The Fact that these dudes are in the NBA is testament to their skill. Garbage minutes for any team is better than no minutes.
Sabonis is too good to be on than list. Hardaway as well. Austin Rivers is a decent player, the same about Brent Barry.
Domantas sabonis is doing good this season he got snubbed from the all star and he’s a big reason if the pacers dominance
Sabonis = Comment bait
Austin Rivers is a starter at the Denver team that has the potential to make it to the finals, 1.5 years later
Gary Payton Jr better now
Seth Curry son of Dell?
I definitely thought Austin Rivers was gonna be a stud. I was fooled by his HS mixtape.
Us Rocket fans are happy with him this year. Seems to come through with much needed buckets when we get dry
Andy’s research is super dope. Inspiring my own channel.. 👍🏾👍🏾
Love to see a video about the sons who surpass the fathers such as Kobe and Joe "jellybean" Bryant.
Idk about sabonis
Sabonis could eventually be as good as his dad
1.MJ Sons
nigga they didnt even make it to the league
Wifilostconnection I think that’s why it’s dissapointing
@@wifilostconnection5992 I think that's why he mentioned them g
@@Meiyourenn and "G" im saying they dont count they didnt make it to the league
Being talented enough to play basketball at an NBA level is a major accomplishment no matter who your father is. Absolutely no shame in not being either an average or a great player at the highest level of play. Most of us would be proud to have a son who was good enough to be a 12th man on a NBA roster. I actually know someone who's son has bounced around the league as a borderline player the last 3 years. Just sign a 3 year guaranteed contract with the Rockets.
All of these guys made the NBA, making them one of the top 400 or so players in the world. Still an amazing accomplishment.
