This game seriously needs a remake or remaster. If not, at least a modern platform port re-release. After all that hype train from G.U. Last recode and that .hack//link tease from the 4th Volume Epilogue, it really deserves it. Hopefully we can play as the other party members too since they all literally have the same skills by class/weapon.
i agree i mean piros did say a new version then there the .hack/link pardoy vid in last recode. i also wish if they did the remake of .hack link they fix .hack gu timedata specifically in making haseo not just evil. combining the combat features of both gu and imoq gameplays together but not the virus core farming.
Probably because he's all Skeithy here. The scythe is basically Skeith's scythe. (And also because Haseo only seems to have two forms in //Link, for some reason... so they couldn't really render his third form. Or something.)
This entire game looks like a really bad fanfiction with copious amounts of tasteless otaku pandering. I'm honestly kind of glad this didn't come to the US, so I wouldn't have to explain it to anyone I know. I hope that if they ever decide to seriously continue this series, they just write this off as non-canon.

if only if they could have given haseo more skills other than just reapers dance. I'm sure this could have been a better boss fight.
Ikr they really should have made it so he could switch his weapons around at least so he could spam other things

Actually, it looks more like his Lost Weapon rather than Skeith's scythe. But yeah, I figured it's just a limitation.
i know this is a month old comment but in the manga of gu haseo retained his first form and allowed him to use the scythe from his epitaph
