- Features Fluegel, Xth forms, Tales of Grace costumes for Haseo and Ovan, "Unknown", and two generic Cross Rengeki. Omitted one Rengeki since uh... a larger version is used at the end of the video.
Oh, and "Unknown" happens to be Kite (Sora) from the 2024 timeline. All that is known about Kite (Sora) is that it's a female player behind the PC, and will be featured in an upcoming .hack// anime.

In relation to all those questions about Silabus: In the manga and the games, it is mentioned in the forums and by other characters (such as Alkaid) that Silabus actually has a really messed-up or cruel side to him, so it makes sense that he would make a face like that towards someone he doesn't like, hahaha.

The tales costume for haseo was pretty badass! I loved the mimiru/tokio and the haseo/tokio combo.

In which after Kite did what he did in Quarintine World R:1 was decommissioned. then CC Corp came out with World R:2 which is Haseo's time frame. Aura was part of R1 and so were the waves. However fragment data still existed which is why we end up with players like Haseo becoming the waves. And Aura taking Morganna's role. Hence enemy.
you know, say what you will about .hack//link, it had some cool ideas (kite's x form)
Atoli! I love that by and large, the characters act like their normal selves. Even the ones like Albireo and Midori are involved. :)

Regarding the relationship part. To be honest i dnt see where its shown that hes having any kind of intimate relationship with any of the characters besides the actual ones(that aint ai). Main love interest is implied to be saika who is a real person btw. They may not be real people but these ais were based on the real ppl that used the chars during the specific timelines and since it was aura who summoned/made them, it shouldnt be a surprise that they have very human-like reactions.

if you go to dot hack wiki under alkaids description, it says shes pretty conscious about her body proportions. This probably didnt show as much in gu since for one thing, haseo never gets his face pushed against her chest. Also its pretty common in anime(or manga) for a girl to have accidents like these and act embarrassed, even to male characters that arent their love interest.

You can tell Sora is Haseo by the marks on his face...and the fact that it says so in the Anime...and by that I just mean 'Sora' had his memories erased after defeating cubia or something and later re-discovered the game and played as haseo...I'm pretty sure that's how it went. o____o
Although that isn't actual time travel, but rather navigating through the logs of The World through the Akashic Records, and that includes going to alternate possibilities of it, which is why XXXX's Cubia and B-st Haseo can make an appearance.

Well, .hack//LINK is a PSP game. You can't exactly expect too much when it comes to animation quality, especially when you compare it to a PS2 game.
That's the "Unknown UPC" I believe it's a female look-alike of Kite, who may be the new character in the all new .hack anime that's coming out shortly after the release of this game.
Im certain you've heard by now but Sora is from the .hack//Movie and Versus game
So, I'd just like to say that to all the people avoiding this game because of what it "appears" to be, don't. The story is brilliant (directly deals with the .hack meta and has everything to do with the .hack universe), plot holes aren't really created (in fact, many plot holes over the years are clarified), the music is great, and the bad guys make for some great bosses (assuming you aren't overlevelled). Yeah the gameplay can get repetitive, but you should expect that of .hack. >>

As for Kite Sora I think thats a mistake. If the next seies is Quantum then its actually Sakuya who is a female rendition of Kite with 2 green pigtails reminiscent of Hatsune Miku.

The persons name is Kit (Sora) and is a girl with the same look as Kit and Shugo and is said to be a guest char, don't ask me how i just found out myself.
The 'dual techs" in this game are f*n AMAZING! They are SOOO full of character. I wish Tales of games had this kind of thing.

You can customize the look of characters with whatever you get throughout the game. It doesn't affect stats or anything. It's just for looks.

aa the memories. they did a phenomenal job with kites xth form. soo sad it isnt playable in any media. we really need a new .hack game

@Ginger0308 I guess. He stands in the shadows of legendary players like Kite and Haseo, and he knows it too. He often talks about how there IS nothing special about him compared to the great heroes of the past. Anyways, there's a video with a translation "patch" of //Link that covers the story if you're interested in learning more about the RA Project (the underlying premise of GU) and how the world almost ends. Otherwise, I suppose this is where we part.

Special PC's (the one's from Schicksal and any others that are not normal, i.e. Ovan, Helba, Cubia, etc.) do not have Xth Forms.

@kaihedgie The form you get Ovan in is not an Xth Form, nor does he have something that functions as one gameplay wise as shown by these compilation videos. He loses the arm case prior to having him join your party. The only reason the main site lists him as having an Xth Form is because the site designers were too lazy to create coding that functioned differently from the rest of the pages that DO have actual Xth Forms obtainable in the game.

i dnt recall her ever doin that unless it was either when she asked haseo and pi for help regarding sakaki or if it was when zelkova was gathering up peeps for fighting cubia. Now if your actually referring to the promise card, i doubt thats actually canon since for one thing, no matter what game the pairing cc always goes with is atoli x haseo(though link has wallpaper with just haseo and alkaid which im a personal fan of).

@AdventWinter he must have one obviously because he had a weapon change and i dont think that the weapon he had in his hand (besides the gun) was his lost weapon since he never even showed one before.

Completely agree. Of all concepts they could have had for a final game finale, it had to be this. They better make up for it with an actual The World MMO or I'm going to be angry for a very long time.

@GreekGuy91 Idon't think its dumb. The game seems to center around the players relaionship with the other characters. Possibly deeper bonds making stronger Cross Rengeki's
