Now, I'm just picturing this dude prepping some tools so he can skin a taxi cab and wear it while dancing and listening to a cover of Cars done in the style of Goodbye Horses.
Took a immediate dislike to that sales guy ! Comes across as unprofessional. For starters get rid of the bottle and sun visor and wear a smart shirt/tie.
holsteincowboy Really? IMO there is no reason or use for a tie... Except to put yourself in a real disadvantage in a fight. Let the poor dude be comfortable. I managed to avoid wearing a tie for the last 35 years including at my wedding and I intend to continue that until the day I die. (Mom made me wear a suit to a funeral when I was 12) LOL I'm much more interested in whether or not a salesperson knows what the hell they're talking about. Generally, I know more about whatever I'm buying than the person trying to sell it to me.
I don't care what he looks like .I'm not trying to screw him I'm trying to buy a camper.People in suits rip us off every day.If he can't talk me into buying one then I don't buy it.
I haven't read the other comments but if I walked onto a lot and this guy was my sales person I would walk out within the first two minutes. He is very off putting. He seems almost sleazy to me. I would NEVER purchase from him. He seems to have a I really hate my job vibe. Just could not finish watching the video.
My Wife and I are so happy you chose our brand of fifth wheel to view. We purchased our 2018 DRV Nashville almost one year ago and love it. It has six slides with the upper living area. Sense we sold our company and our home we chose to live in our fifth wheel full time along with our boat. Although we have a custom built truck to tow it we just had our fifth wheel towed to our lot instead of missing around with it ourselves. Our tow vehicle just this past week sold. We have owned a few high end brands before but this one is the largest so far. I was going to ask you if it would be possible for you to view an DRV but never got around to it. So many perks to living in an RV verses owning a very large home. We love your channel and your a very gifted person so voice and reviews are tops and interesting. We worked very hard to get where we are today and at our early 70's I pray we have some easier years ahead of us. Thank You and keep up the great job with your channel....Cheers from my Wife and I along with our friend Cooper
Somebody at Bishop needs to get Jason away from a video camera. He has all the charisma of a used car salesman. 'Mr. Cool' with the water bottle as a prop was pretty slimey. Probably turned more people away from a good RV dealership than not.
Wasting 5 minutes of "floating" video time watching a guy drink a bottle of water was not a good use of time for me so I decided not to finish the video on what is probably a nice 5er. Watch some of Haylett RV videos to understand what customers WANT to see.
I have never given a thumbs down to any vlog. Until now. It has nothing to do with you or the content. Please, in the future, educate the salesperson in your videos on video etiquette. His mannerisms remind me of Bubba Used Cars "We tote the note" type salesperson. I'd dismiss anything he said based on initial perception.
That's an awesome RV.. But one thing i wish they would stop, is this "It's been upgraded" with a generator that will run everything.. They shouldn't need to be upgraded.. If they build it, it should come with a generator that will run the entire thing.. But that's just my thoughts..
I feel the same way but 5th wheels rarely come standard w/ generator, its always an option. If I were spending 200k I would be getting a diesel pusher not a 5th wheel that needs an additional 60-80K truck to pull it.
Yeah, I know a lot of them don't come with generators, but most of them that do, come's with one that's not big enough to run both a/c's and other things at the same time, and i think that's just crazy.. If they're going to put one in, it should be one that will run everything.. I'v seen many of them go on sale and have like $25 to $30k knocked off the regular price, so i know it only costs a few hundred to put in the larger generator, but i think they up-sell the larger ones, and then charge a few hours for their service department to change them out..
@@calvinh.8882 Reminds me of another video I got into a conversation on where a dude was talking about running everything on a big 5th wheel and the generator not lasting long. When I heard the numbers, I was sitting there thinking, "why the hell did you get a generator that you'd be damn near maxing out?" I guess the fact that dealers offer generators that barely can do the job as an option is why.
I bought my first rig and truck this year, and i can not tell you how valuable your videos have been! This unit has me wanting to go full time! Thank you for your time sir!
Good video overall. That sale guy was a bit of an oddball and kind of annoying; not sure what was going on there. The water bottle and lack of focus was a little bit of a letdown :-/
I wanted to thank you, I just got my 2003 f350 back from the shop, after getting the sulastic shackles installed. I'm blown away by the ride improvement. Thank You again for all of your hard work and dedication to your videos.
I just picked up my New Horizons 5th wheel. I think you'd be amazed at the difference in electronics, construction, and finishing compared to the DRV. I'll be passing through Texas with it in February 2019 if you'd be interested to see it/make a video. Still, that DRV is one beautiful unit! Congrats to the owner.
I would love to film your rig. Let me know as you firm up your Texas plans. Gulf Waters RV Resort in Port Aransas would be an excellent place to take it.
Seems like everyone at Bishop RV is rude based on thier reviews on Yelp and their website...... The owner said when told about this video if you dont like this video then just dont watch it......wow not exactly what you expect to hear back from a owner who is being told he has a problem ......no thanks for your information ......no we take what our customers say as information we can use to improve our image or customer service..... the good news is that you can ALWAYS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SPEND ALOT OF MONEY AND LET COMPANIES LIKE THIS MAKE IT THIER BUSINESS TO LOOSE....... GREAT VIDEO BIG TRUCK KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND NEXT TIME PUT JASON OUTSIDE AND MAKE SURE HE HAS PLENTY OF WATER
I saw you driving your F-450 yesterday. I was stopped at a light and saw you pass by and was dumbstruck. I wasn't into Ford trucks a few years ago and was actually looking to buy a 2015 Chevy 3500, but when I saw your immaculate 2016 F-450, I knew I wanted one. With the new body style, I want one even more. Thank you for making your videos, entertaining and very informative.
You have great informative videos, this salesman could have sold more DRVs by just being as professional as you but he wasn't and I would never buy anything from old J. I'm in my 50s and I Would run from this guy.
Folks, as an owner of a comparable DRV model (we have an Atlanta floor plan), I can tell you these units don’t cost $200k! Even fully loaded, which this unit is not, a reasonable price would likely be closer to $150k or so. Now I will say that I haven’t priced this particular floor plan, but $200k is probably closer to MSRP.
We just ordered our 44 Houston, we were already excited, but you did a great job in covering the unit. There were a number of items you covered that I had not known before. Thanks, I really like you channel. I just purchased the 2018 Ford F-450 Limited to tow it. Did I mention we were excited. Thanks again.
We also chose the color scheme of the 44 Houston that you featured, so we wanted the the truck to match and found the "Platinum White." I think Ford's "White Gold" would have looked awesome also but I didn't want to travel to Florida to get it.
Sharp looking rig, I personally like the arched ceiling's. Seems like you're sales guy wasn't real interested in filming you're video, drinking water, messing around with other things. Maybe the video doesn't do it any justice, but the interior didn't wow me, sorry. Now the build quality of the frame and suspension was the bomb!!!
I posted my comments, then I noticed that everyone has the same observation about the salesman and the bottle. Get rid of the salesman and I will consider buying from you guys.
Jason comes to life once they leave the coach and can talk about the more mechanical side of things rather than the residential side. He actually is a good salesperson....who knew? Well me cos I watched til the end.😂
After reading about a recent DRV purchase on the IRV2 Forums and DRV's shenanigans I wouldn't give them a second glance. We have been looking at purchasing a high end rig in the next 2 years. DRV was on the list until I discovered the Tiffin is now building a fifth wheel called the Vanleigh. Every bit as nice and well built as a DRV and just over half the cost. Given Tiffins reputation with their coaches they are at the top of our short list.
So Vanleigh does make great Fifth Wheels, but I wouldn't categorize them in the same class as a DRV by a long shot. Their frame technology is pretty generic and is the same Z-Frame used by pretty much every Fifth Wheel brand in the $60-$100K range. The DRV Frame alone makes it a stronger and more rugged Fifth Wheel. Twin 6" Fully boxed 1/4" thick sections welded together ontop of a 2" 1/4"thick fully boxed section. All this riding on a fully independent MorRyde suspension system using Disk Brakes as well as 17.5" Commercial Wheels and Tires. Also, 3.5" thick sidewalls on a fully Hung Walls with the option for a full Fiberglass roof. Very different overall. Now, that's not saying their not a great RV manufacture for sure. They do VERY well with their cabinetry and interior design. They are also very well built for the class they fall in. Think of them like a better built Heartland Bighorn or Jayco Northpoint with more attention to detail and a full profile front to back.
He's just a laid back guy. Maybe he's just not used to being on camera. He knows his units. And you never know what's going on off the camera or in his personal life. On a real work day, who's gonna be happy go lucky out in the sun? Anyway, it's a dream trailer. Would love one.
I love the DRV units. I wish I had seen your channel prior to purchasing this crappy Montana Highcountry... So called "high end" POS that we are staying in now. Even though it's a 2017 and only 9 months old, I'm already seriously getting ready to trade this crap in for something like what you've shown here. Great video.
This unit definitely seems to be much higher quality than others. It really looks like they took time and pride in things like the wiring and plumbing.
If you can find a New horizons fifth wheel you should do a review on one. They are building a 48ft fifth wheel currently with a stupid amount of storage, just the front storage is about 13ft x 8ft x 4ft.
Fun review, thanks...with all the negative regarding the sales guy, he seems to know his stuff. Note: the unit is SOLD. Nothing happens until somebody sells. Take care guys.
"The vanity in the master. bath. Standard comes with a sink next to another sink, (double vanity) and they're all of 6' apart. So kinda not usable. It makes a lot more sense to have a bigger sink installed in that spot and have a lot more counter space. That's what they've done." I commend them for requesting the single sink in the master bath. Every time I see a dual sink vanity I comment that it is a huge waste of counter space. Counter space is far more needed than dual sinks that would rarely if ever, be used simultaneously. Nice Unit!
Everyone is bashing Jason. Well, he did START off a bit rough, I agree. Maybe he was nervous about agreeing to do the video when he knew he needed to take some time to inspect the unit for the customer. By the second half of the video, once he began doing his task, he came alive, answering questions and doing the inspection at the same time.
What would be super interesting to see is a DRV mobile sweet with a garage in the back. I’d opt out of a living room and half bath for a 15-20 ft garage
DRVs are great RVs. This one is beautiful. 44ft. is more for staying in one place for periods of time. I believe DRV is one of the few who have truly thermal windows, duel pane doesn't mean like home, b/c there's no air between the two panes. I think they have the air between them.
So who makes a good bunk house with a half bath? Most bunk houses that you see on the market are low end. I like the open range 3x 427, the gateway 3810 rlb, but that’s really about it. We’ve also considered a seismic toy hauler.
Dang so many people hating on this man so much. I see a lot of comments saying "he looks like..he sounds like..he seems like.." So many judgemental people. He said they're in Chorpus Christi, Texas where it can get over 100°F several days in a row so why wouldn't he drinking water?? He's probably been doing walkarounds outside and showing people this RV's in 100° weather. Also, the "sleezy salesman look with that yellow shirt" is a Columbia breathable shirt. Again it's super hot outside and I know I would want to wear that shirt rather than a suit and tie if I was a salesman..oh wait I am haha I sell Toyota's. I wear a polo to work no suits or ties. I saw nothing nothing wrong with the salesman.
I’ve watched some other DRV videos. The fireplace is hidden storage. Push in and it opens up. Also, above the fireplace is a hidden desk that pulls out. Hope to get one when I retire.
The framework around the bed is absolutely beautiful. I heard that a queen bed in an RV is not the same as a queen bed in a home I believe a queen bed in an RV is slightly smaller.
I see a lot of comments about the salesmen and how negative they are. I honestly don’t see an issue as the guy is hanging out answering any and all questions on an already sold RV. Mind blowing the comments im reading.
When a salesman responds to a question of, "I believe" it is time to find another dealer and salesman. The DRV's are great though. I have a DRV 38 PS3 Elite Suites. Absolutely love it.
Id wants steel shield for tire blow, to shield of shredded tire tearing coming apart. Facets in the shower on the other side so as to be able the turn shower on without getting wet. Also, drawers in the closet cant be opened without moving the hanging clothes. Hate the ladder on the back, blocks views also. Slideout to the right of the back door robs sitting outside area. Wood supporting washer not stained to match. 200,000 should get me actuator to open and close black tank. Sorry for the rant.
Absolutely great video drv is the best and I also noticed that the slides are also painted to match on the sides of them where it's usually just White as usual your videos are always great and very detailed
That looks like a great rv to travel in and run your business full time. I was surprised that did not have the MORryde step system standard rather then the aluminum steps. Awesome fifth wheel.
All major builders of things like rvs and trucks with equipment mounted on get every bolt that was touched tamper makes. That's what's the paint lines are on bolts it means it's done its perfect and ready to go. My company does the exact same thing and I call my signature on what I just built
The sales guy just answered the question very generically . Gave no extra insight or info about the subject you asked about . I would run fast from a sales guy like this. Basically Btbrv gave him the info in the question and sales guy just said yes. Wake up sales guy , customers are thinking of buying a 200k unit from you. You should be able to talk about the whole unit from design to production and know about how everything is done . Not just one word answers . He gives me the impression he is selling Kia cars. Maybe it was a bad day but I would not buy from this place or him.
10 mins in and so far I know what the sales man looks like more than the camper, pretty annoying..... 👎🏼 and gotta say, sales guy... loose the visor and yellow shirt, it’s doing nothing for you..
Love the 6500 Onan. I've got a 5500, which does not allow all 3 AC's to run. Is that all I have to do to run mine is upgrade to the 6500? Or is more involved. And yeah the salesman should have done more, but guess he doesn't know about how many true Rv'rs follow you channel. Hope he learns from these comments here.
Hello and Happy 4th of July. We are getting very close to purchasing an RV. One of the models we are looking at is the Cyclone (by Heartland) with the side patio. I was wondering if you could do a video on the pros and cons of that model. We have heard that there are problems with delamination around the side patio. Thanks. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
The owners left a comment and said they were in their early 70's that being said I thought 1.) A generation that had twins to full size bed making a queen quite large and 2.) As we age we need more open space to avoid falls bc broken hips and bones aren't any fun.
A queen with no space to maneuver around it, but enough space to fit a king is a "worst of both worlds" setup. So, either put a king there to get more bed space or downgrade the size to a full and be able to move a little.
What a beautiful coach! I think my 24ft Cougar 5er would fit right inside this! 🤣 I’d be curious to know how the owners have liked it so far now that they’ve had it 6-7 months. Anything they would change? What type of tow vehicle are they using? An update would be fantastic! Thanks for all you do! ~Peace ✌🏼
Nice, very nice, I still might get a dish washer. Not that I trust them to really clean anything. I just like the idea of it using hotter water than I would like to have my hands in, to sanitize than I would trust it to clean. But that just might be me.
Jon Todd had a dishwasher my last unit me and my wife never ever turned it on this is a park unit on my River lot with an outdoor kitchen with a dishwasher there that's why I chose no dishwasher thank you for your comment
We own a 2016 DRV Atlanta and I can tell you that the Fisher & Paykel dishwater that DRV uses cleans just as well as any residential dishwasher I have ever owned and is very efficient on water use.
Is this a residential refrigerator electric/gas, also and I usually never hear anyone say that to use the washer you have to be hooked to full service. I agree with you about DRV. But the Grand Design Solitude and Heartland brand come in pretty close
Love the video.. I'm sure the owner will be pleased with this rig when he has it home.. Would love to see what he will be towing this with @ 24k pounds.. Awesome!
Is that true?! Toilet that chops poo? That's hysterical if true. Also, I think the man with the "sunglasses" is wearing prescription glasses with tint to block the sun. My father-in-law had those. The man might not have been comfortable being filmed. People are so judgmental. Beautiful RV! May God bless them in their travels.
I agree. He looked really nervous which may explain his constant fiddling with his water bottle, plus his need to keep moving and doing things to the RV. People can be mean.
I kind of with that you would also put like how many bed and baths it has, I rlly don’t like having to skip through all of it to find if it has even enough beds I need.
Seriously?
This guy comes across like he’s doing us all a favor for being there.
For $200k
He ought to be a lot more friendly and a little less smug.
I don't know if he's smug. He just seems apathetic.
The guy in the yellow screams of a used car salesman. I think his shirt used to be a taxi cab.
Now, I'm just picturing this dude prepping some tools so he can skin a taxi cab and wear it while dancing and listening to a cover of Cars done in the style of Goodbye Horses.
If I was spending 100,000+ and I drew THAT Salesman, I would WALK off the lot
OMG I was thinking the same exact thing before I read your comment what a dull sales person
So right
He seems nice and NORMAL to me.
Yes I know what you mean. Good point.
I believe its a full fiberglass top, but I believe that I'm not sure, lol

Holstein: You are dead on. He is such an ignoramus I watched as far as 2.25 and could stomach him no more. First video I have EVER done that with.
When he's not speaking he looks sooo bored. The 1st 5 minutes weren't his finest! Hopefully, just nerves.
Brother he is in Corpus Christi Texas in June He had all the answers quit hating on him
Never trust a guy wearing a visor!
Or with a pen on the collar of his windbreaker!

Wally Jordan completely unprofessional. Drinking water? Seriously?

All this riding on a fully independent MorRyde suspension system using Disk Brakes as well as 17.5" Commercial Wheels and Tires. Also, 3.5" thick sidewalls on a fully Hung Walls with the option for a full Fiberglass roof. Very different overall. Now, that's not saying their not a great RV manufacture for sure. They do VERY well with their cabinetry and interior design. They are also very well built for the class they fall in. Think of them like a better built Heartland Bighorn or Jayco Northpoint with more attention to detail and a full profile front to back.
Great video. Glad I got a first hand view of my parents new RV. I might not get to see it in person for a while so I appreciate you making this video!
Brandi Wasek: My pleasure
One beautiful RV. The folks that bought it should be very happy
He's just a laid back guy. Maybe he's just not used to being on camera. He knows his units. And you never know what's going on off the camera or in his personal life. On a real work day, who's gonna be happy go lucky out in the sun?
Anyway, it's a dream trailer. Would love one.
Salesman must’ve been like, really dehydrated! Agree with all the other comments
Lmao his glasses, the visor lol he looks like he had a small roll on better call Saul
Just an FYI, The Fisher Paykel dishwasher does an excellent job, there is no 'clean it again' routine.
Wow. Thats a beautiful RV . The owners will be every happy with it .
DRVs are great RVs. This one is beautiful. 44ft. is more for staying in one place for periods of time. I believe DRV is one of the few who have truly thermal windows, duel pane doesn't mean like home, b/c there's no air between the two panes. I think they have the air between them.
What a beautiful coach! Now I have RV envy, thanks alot! Congrats to the new owners
My mother in laws neighbor has this exact one. 100% fully decked out with red cherry everywhere. Insanity!
So who makes a good bunk house with a half bath? Most bunk houses that you see on the market are low end. I like the open range 3x 427, the gateway 3810 rlb, but that’s really about it. We’ve also considered a seismic toy hauler.
Big RV, It was easy to tell you really like this rig. I hope you do get one like this, you deserve it! Great video.
An RV Queen is a slightly shorter bed by about 6".
I see a lot of comments about the salesmen and how negative they are. I honestly don’t see an issue as the guy is hanging out answering any and all questions on an already sold RV. Mind blowing the comments im reading.
I've been waiting on you to get to the lifestyles of the retired and famous portion of your channel.😂
When a salesman responds to a question of, "I believe" it is time to find another dealer and salesman. The DRV's are great though. I have a DRV 38 PS3 Elite Suites. Absolutely love it.
The hubs are grease not oil! Pull the cap off and the zero is right there. They had trouble with the caps leaking.
Zerk
Id wants steel shield for tire blow, to shield of shredded tire tearing coming apart. Facets in the shower on the other side so as to be able the turn shower on without getting wet. Also, drawers in the closet cant be opened without moving the hanging clothes. Hate the ladder on the back, blocks views also. Slideout to the right of the back door robs sitting outside area. Wood supporting washer not stained to match. 200,000 should get me actuator to open and close black tank. Sorry for the rant.
That yellow shirt seems to be drying of thirst. Get him to the paramedics.
Lol!😂😁
Absolutely great video drv is the best and I also noticed that the slides are also painted to match on the sides of them where it's usually just White as usual your videos are always great and very detailed
That looks like a great rv to travel in and run your business full time. I was surprised that did not have the MORryde step system standard rather then the aluminum steps. Awesome fifth wheel.
Is this guy really a salesperson???
Hope you didn't bore him to much???
Even Kia car sales people do a way better job 😂
But agreed, maybe this was just a bad day for Jason.
10 mins in and so far I know what the sales man looks like more than the camper, pretty annoying..... 👎🏼 and gotta say, sales guy... loose the visor and yellow shirt, it’s doing nothing for you..
I love how everyone in the comments hates the sales man lol
Yeah, really doesn't do a good job selling us on this thing or even just showcasing it.
Lol, saw interior and I Absolutely Love it!!! Then saw it’s a DRV!! Awe No Wonder!! DRV’s Are My Favorite!!!!
Great rig if you have a Peterbuilt, Kenworth, Volvo, or a Freightliner!
First impression..... don’t care for the yellow water guy. Makes me want to look at a cottage
Beautiful! You two men did a great job presenting it!
It looked like the big bedroom closet was cedar-lined, which would be a great selling point.
Salesman was drinking at lunch is all I can think...
I liked the interview at the beginning. Fancy looking. Thanks.
Sorry I'm spending 200k I want to be able to completely walk around that Queen bed. Really should be a King.
I agree. A king sized bed is a must, our cat is a bed hog extraordinaire. She takes her half out of the middle.
Nice 5er!
Still wondering if that Reese goose box lets you turn 90 degrees without hitting the bed! 😁
Yes it does...
~Peace ✌🏼
He likes his water haha
Nice, very nice,
I still might get a dish washer. Not that I trust them to really clean anything. I just like the idea of it using hotter water than I would like to have my hands in, to sanitize than I would trust it to clean. But that just might be me.
Jon Todd Eh, a handheld steamer would do the job of sanitizing without adding more weight!
I'm curious... how does a 3 zone unit that's all ducted together (5:30) cool each zone as needed (8:45)?
Is this a residential refrigerator electric/gas, also and I usually never hear anyone say that to use the washer you have to be hooked to full service. I agree with you about DRV.
But the Grand Design Solitude and Heartland brand come in pretty close
So, where does the crew sleep? I don't think mom and pop could handle a rig like this. So much for 2 people, wow.
So do you still have the Anderson Hitch? I would be interested
Go Big Orange!
The dude was like why are u even talkin to me u already know everything
Amazing style, quality, and workmanship. Would love to see their tow setup. 👍
I'm not sure if my 1978 4 cylinder Datsun pickup truck can pull this one?
Guy in the yellow shirt never makes eye contact which the guy asking questions
Absolutely gorgeous! The functionality is amazing! So that suspension will help decrease traveling wear & tear?
it will. And make.it easier to tow
Love the video.. I'm sure the owner will be pleased with this rig when he has it home.. Would love to see what he will be towing this with @ 24k pounds.. Awesome!
Hahaha that sales guy...
