If you work on Isuzu trucks regularly, you need this tool. The IDSS is the only scan tool that will take the diesel’s out of stage 4 de-rate. Unless it changed, programming is part of the scan tool subscription, so it will pay for itself quickly. Also, I just learned the J1962 is no longer on NPR’s. Very cool, thank you for sharing!
Isuzu trucks can be money makers (because for one, not many ppl want to work on them), though I know they aren't the most fun to work on. I thank you for sharing info on these beasts.
Not that I could figure out. Matco 4000 with HD no go, Autel CV no go, I even tried to jumper the CAN bus to the DLC / scan tool and it is a different protocol.
@@BrianMann216 i thought Texa had a pretty decent system, but I haven't used it myself. They're supposed to be one of the better scan tools & pass-through. There's also Nexiq.

Looks like good software and easy to use, Brian. Is the fee a yearly subscription?
The 2,200 tool comes with 6 months sub, 1k every six months. So 2k a year
