I have just purchased a 2nd hand Tec tail tidy for my Gen 2 Speed Twin 1200. This is helpful, looking forward to a bit of spannering with a brew in my garage now. Thank you
Another great video. I went to order this but; Judging by the reviews it looks like they haven't done anything about the screws being too long but they have put the price up by over £9 since you posted your review on their site in October last year. So they have hiked the price by 20%, not resolved the too long screw issue and then want £5.40 to post it. I don't think it's worth it, I think I'll spend the £60 on petrol and just ride, I can't see the tail when I'm riding.... 😉
I just put one on my Speed Twin and still had to put two washers on each screw to hold the no.plate light on. Also be aware you will need to drill two new holes in your no. plate as the existing holes wont line up with the new holder. I've ordered a new no. plate. And I never did see what the supplied cable tie was for, a few washers would have been better!
Been looking for this exact tail tidy for my T100 (except for a black fender instead), haven't found one like the speed twin 1200... do you know if it is compatbile with the T100?
TBH not sure, lots of the tail tidy's on the market reduce the OEM units which themselves are on the bike per the regulations....so are they all non regulation compliant??

Enjoy those £60 worth of miles 😁

Hi , I’m not sure to be honest . Possibly have a look on their website ?
Bro.. Can i fix this tidy for hunter 350?
Could have just shortened the screw length instead of using plastic nuts
Is it street legal ?

Just use shorter screws for the number plate light. Problem solved…
