    I tried it last night. While I was rolling, I didn't feel much difference or more relaxation, but oh geez i slept for almost 10 hours. Although I woke up shortly multiple times to readjust my positions, but I could quickly fall back to sleep. This is awesome.

    Thanks for your generosity Elisha in sharing your discoveries and creations. I want to try this soon and will let you know what I discover! Funny I was going to do something like this on my own given my chronic thoracic difficulties and tension and displaced ribs and verts that are driving me crazy - goes all the way up the neck as well til I finally have to see chiropractor just to normalize for a little while. I LOVE the idea of toxin drainage! Pretty roller too!

    Oh wow! I didn't think I would be able to do this one because my spine is so rigid. I had to adapt it a bit. But I have feeling coming back into my fingers! It feels so good. I knew I had poor circulation, but wow! I will need to try this again.
    I love how your body showed you what it needed and gave you this routine. I have been experiencing the same thing lately. Our bodies really talk when we take the time to listen rather than dominating the conversation. Thanks for sharing! ☺️
    **Update: Unfortunately it's almost 2:30 am and I can't sleep, which is unusual for me. My body and mind are very overactive despite being tired. I'll have to do this earlier in the day next time! But I feel like I can breathe easier and my body has a lot more energy.

    Hey girl! I don’t have the cool om roller so I grabbed a pool noodle and worked into my neck shoulders sides of spine in that order and it all felt so awesome 👏🏻 lots of yummy relief 😅 Thanx so much for sharing!

    This felt great. I was working my lats with a yoga block as well as foam rolling last night while watching one of your videos. I slept very well and woke up feeling clear headed and in less pain.

    I love that you take your body's input first and then figure out why she asked for that. I have been doing same since i decided to take command of my health for myself. My body knows and understands EVERYTHING she needs. All bodies do.

    Hi and thank you for all your great video’s 😊 I’ve been doing this in the late morning, what a relief for my neck. I also rolled it down under the low back and pelvis with legs up and towards my back, it’s so relaxing. I have been doing myofascia release for a while, but I have a lot of pain in my joints, due to the menopause 😢 Do you think it’ll help going on with MR, or do you have any other suggestions for those pains? Have a nice day 😊

    Thanks for the roller lymphatic drainage input! I'll be getting a roller as well.
    I used a foam roller with towels rolled around it, just to compensate for the softness. I also doubled rolled to towels long ways in their halves so I can roll my neck and do the finger lymphatic massage around the ears! Thanks
    I'm Fernando by the way.

    I recall the Polar Bear violently shaking to rid itself of stored stress from a previous video. And, my sleep routine includes focusing on relaxation of my scalp downwards. My shoulders seem to involuntarily shiver like that polar bear. It is immensely relaxing. Similarly my thighs shake uncontrollably for a short period. Does anyone else get that?

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is usually a biological response to stress or trauma, where the body shakes itself to get rid of the stress and come back to a calmer state. This has been studied a lot by people like Peter Levine. It's what animals do to move stress and trauma out of their bodies. They tend not to carry stress and trauma in their bodies long term like we do. You're definitely not alone in the experience! This happens to a lot of people.

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Heidi - I really love the Om Roller, the one in this video (a link to buy is in the description box under the video). The reason I like it so much is that it's handmade of wood, natural latex and cotton instead of poly material which is basically plastic, which is what most rollers are made of. However, it is more expensive. If the Om Roller isn't what you're looking for, you could try this one: amzn.to/3dKDQ1F

    Thank you for this explanation. I did this and will adapt some pieces of it into my nightly routine. Have you tried the Melt Method? She has a quick routine (she is in grey) where she does something similar but uses a longer roller on the full spine. In the months I have been using it, I do truly sleep better. I find the nightly habit also builds as your body adjusts. I pause her routine and add in your calf work and adjust it to make it my own. Thanks again.

    Tried this last night. Felt really good, especially on my neck and back of my head. Today I feel a little achy in my neck and spine. I’m very new at all this (one week). Is that slight ache normal?

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Caryn - if you're new to my channel, then welcome! And thanks for letting me know you're new to fascia release. How are you feeling now?
      To answer your question: so, bodies do all kinds of things in response to fascia release. Whatever you feel (like the ache you mentioned) is therefore "normal" for you and your body. I always like to encourage you to find your own answers by getting to know your body and all of its sensations, textures and how it responds to different stimuli. Since I'm not working with you 1-1, it's really hard for me to say what it is.
      A few possibilities for feeling an aching sensation could be 1) toxicity trying to move out and getting stuck where there are still blockages or not enough water to move the toxins through, 2) a reaction to the fascia release, where your fascia or muscles tensed up to fight what was happening, or 3) your body might be perceiving an imbalance front to back, for example if the front of your neck is tighter than the back then you might feel achy in the back of your neck as your body tries to tense up to keep your head from falling forward where the tissues are tightest.

    • @CarynMcCleskey
      @CarynMcCleskey 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ElishaCeleste Thank you! I felt better by later in the day. The front being tight also makes sense. I’m pretty out of balance and have lots of tightness. Thanks to your videos I made an appointment with a local myofascial therapist. I’m also working through some of your other videos and finding them so helpful.

      So as weird as it sounds you can go into a discount store like target or a used equipment place like play it again sports and actually try out the rollers. I have found good ones at marshalls but i actually give them a try in the store just a suggestion

    • @ElishaCeleste
      @ElishaCeleste  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Carrie - yeah, the Om Roller is definitely more of an investment. For this particular routine I would recommend one of the softer rollers. Here are some good options (the first two are shorter 18 inch rollers like mine, the last one is a longer roller):
