Yeah low key (stealth) van camping is pretty easy. This guy with the lights blazing, chimney smoking and steps up the backside is never going to blend in.
you would think. All these signs starting popping up recently. It makes me sad at the lack of humanity our modern society has.I had someone post a sign while i was sitting in my van once, just after I witnessed a verbal and physical assault on a nearby vehicle. A little tip for you next time you make bacon is to cook it in the oven in the same cookie pan you used for the crackers. Line it with foil and bake it on 400 for 15-20 minutes until its your level of crispness. Its evenly cooked this way and doesn't splatter all over the place. Also makes it easy to pour the grease out of the foil and into a mason jar for cooking later.
As the saying goes, "There are two types of people in the world. Those who want to be left alone, and those who won't leave you alone." Sorry that happened to you. Wishing you a speedy recovery after the upcoming surgery. Great video. Cheers.

Just walk outside, scoop up a big handful of that pure snow, heat it up to room temp on your stove, pour it in the humidifier reservoir and turn it on. Another great episode. After getting some good advice from the subscribers in this channel and from a Powerstroke Technician, I am planning on testing and replacing my glow plug relay, and any crappy wiring I find under my valve covers when I replace my 3 year old batteries.
Right on...my 1999 F350...the glow plug relay....and glow plugs...were replaced.... On the colder mornings...I run the wait to start twice, perhaps it helps... And she fires right up... While not being the most powerful- that engine...is remarkable. And no DEF juice. Ya oil is a little out of hand but I drain the and replace 17 quarts at about 3500 miles... I am glad Timmy has the 7.3...It is almost bulletproof and hardly breaks a sweat...

But in your case ....I guess there NOT fans of your channel....lol (Which is ABSurd)....Keep trucking Timmie and thank you for all that you post!!! Warmest of regards, 1000 islands Canada
Canada is just rooting to go deeper than the abyss. Canada is at its lowest right now, or has been. For a country that isn't considered a third world country, we sure do act like it sometimes = controlled.
More and more are being forced to live in Van's, motorhomes, trailers because of the lack of rent control enforcement. This what happens when greedy land owners start putting the squeeze on middle and lower class human beings. The rich trying to all become lords again..lol😂. Even RV park rents are insane because these giant motor homes with full house utility costs take advantage of full time living at RV parks and this raises rents!!! The little guy in the travel trailers get bsed into paying high rates too😢
Yep it’s happening all over. A couple years ago I walked into a USA Forest Service office here in E. WA State and asked questions about boon docking. I was treated like a homeless person looking for a free spot to live. I own my own house but enjoy camping in my RV sometimes. The Forest Ranger rudely told me to just go online and book days at campgrounds. They’re always booked up about 9 months to a year in advance. I prefer to go when ever I feel in the mood and if the weather suits me.
Oh wow, I see freedom snatching has made its way to the last frontier as well. Then again, like you said it is Anchorage and "city life" which tends to regulate when you are allowed to take a crap.
came across your channel not too long ago....binge watched your episodes on your attempt to get to the arctic ocean. definitely a fan! good luck with your surgery!
Oh dude, I've seen your truck set up at home Depot once in Anchorage. So sick to see it in person, and weird coincidence that I just ran into your channel lol
Nice seeing ya kiddo! It's been a while since I've been here. I love the recipe for the Ritz! I watch a TH-cam Channel that does something simular to the surgery that uses a baloon to open up that cartilage in the nose. The patient is awake while Dr does it. Looks pretty painfull. I'm a woos and I'd want to to be under. I have a lady friend who told me that if you ever just need a place to park over night for a few nights, she'd allow you to park there next to her condominium in Chugiak. She has a big parking spot because she is in a wheelchair and she uses the handicapped transit and that spot is only used when she's being picked up or being dropped off, and that never wouldhappen early in the morning. Neitherof us like to go out in the cold early in the day at our age now. We'reboth 62. She'd never ask for money from you to plug in to the electric for the night if you'd like to use it. She's one of the coolest chick I've ever met before! She's been my bestfriend for over 25 years now. I drive down and visit her once a month from my place here in Trapper Creek. We just sit around and get stoned and watch movies these days. We don't do as much getting out these days. It's much more fun doing indoor fun when it's cold outdoors. You can email me and I can get her phone number to ya, if this is something that you are interested in. fefi121061@gmail.com. I watch and always leave a thumbs up. I just had to say hey. Sending my love to you all the way from Trapper Creek Alaska!!!✌🏻❤😊
Take pain meds an hour before packing removal. Have ice packs to either side of nose/cheek for am hour before removal. 15 minutes on/off. Good luck. Hope no infection and you heal 1st time.
The anti-camper thing is a part of the war on the homeless. When I worked for the census I reported accurate numbers of the people living in campers, vans, tents etc, and the government supervisors kept sending them back, claiming they were “too high.” Eventually they fired me.
Lol. They don't want to know the truth. Our country is being systematically destroyed by an ever more broken system that is rotting from the inside out thanks to bribes (lobbying) and spineless career politicians.
the homeless population is going to wage war soon.....because the numbers are climbing at insane levels!! I myself who used to be able to afford my own apartment alone can no longer afford to live alone.....i am renting a room in Washington state for almost 200 more than my own place 5 years ago....its sick!

@@TruckHouseLife , I have a deviated septum myself, had an accident as a child - school bus driver fault which caused me all sorts of problems but I never had surgery. I kept having nosebleeds and one side has been ~90% "blocked" but I've endured it throughout life, use "breathing strips" when needed etc. Anyway, maybe you need to come down to the States if things don't work out which hopefully it will this time. It's been some years back I had a class with a guy who had surgery here and he could move papers from across the room, lol. He told me he had a deviated septum & had surgery & his was a success. Anyway, a bit of a bum for someone to bother a man minding his own business in his camper, not bothering anyone.🙄I'm not sure if I could handle the Jalapeno's but an interesting treat as was the dessert although I was thinking more along the lines of banana pudding! ^_^ Stay safe, looking forward to the next update!
Still live in Anchorage , but used to live in an RV in Anchorage. It was not an ideal lifestyle given people would almost always call you in. I still support it though. I think having a stealthier vehicle is the key and not staying at one location for more than a night. Also like you were saying: be good stewards so you don’t ruin it for everyone.

U can camp on any of my places foe free Timmy ❤ the channel an truck house safely my friend
Seems the van life crackdown is pretty universal. So many places across Europe ive been living for the last 10 years are hugely cracking down with signs going up and fines being issued. It's getting so bad i'm actually considering buying a house!
How did we get to the point where the government tells the people, that we can't stay on our own land? That land belongs to the people not the government.
So long as you ask permission by a manager or store owner you should be fine. Anyplace else is considered trespassing, and just rolling up and parking is never a good idea unless it's a free rest stop or truck stop.
Like many things, other people ruin it for you. Coming from Chicago, LA, Bay Area, you see streets lined with beat to sh!t campers, vans & RV's, stealing power from the street lights, leaving their filthy crap all over the place, with no regard to anything and they don't leave. Too bad really.
yup that's exactly what ruins it, it makes me so mad when I pass folks living like that because it ruins it for everyone and they don't have to live that way
La and the greater Bay area? Absoutlely... Chicago? Heck no, lived hear 26 years and never seen campers anywhere near the city or going to tourist spots like you do out west. We also have no where to park Rv's anywhere near the city and all of our payed parking goes to Dubai...
There are far worse things going on in this world other than giving Tim the boot over his well-maintained clean camper truck. I guess this is the new age where good is bad and bad is good. Hope they fix you up Timmy, I'll say a prayer for ya!
I was so glad to have access to the campground on Elmendorf AFB to overnight there. Anchorage is a big city and as sketchy/dangerous as many of the big cities in the lower 48. The auto parts store we stopped at to get a couple hose clamps had bullet holes in the front door glass. The guys who changed our oil at the oil change place (dealer couldn't get us in) were nice guys, but they were obviously members of one of the Samoan street gangs there.
This kind of breaks my heart man, like im the blue collar type of guy and I would like living like this. It's the bums man; not homies like us. We're tidy asf; as long as parking is paid for, then who cares >:l
The French had a marvelous mechanical contraption for solving these kinds of problems . It's also green energy powered ( gravity ) and BOY , can this baby sequester some carbon !
Just curious why you didn't do the 350 with no extended cab and with the long bed. Could have more of a cabin thst way. Not criticizing just curious. I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks.
Nevermind the city,Life with 4x4truck house are made for wilderness not in the city to follow Red Yellow and Green traffic light and signs.Life in truck house meant to be wild where the sounds of nature's goes you also goes with no rules to be followed.❤❤❤❤
If I’m honest, do I want someone camped out in front of my house? It would make me nervous. I wouldn’t know if they were tracking when I come and go so they could break in. I feel for folks who are truly homeless, but there are a lot of people who can afford to stay in an rv park or a hotel or who also have a permanent address but they are doing “van life” for fun, adventure and TH-cam. Their frustration with a lack of free overnight parking is not high on my list of priorities.
Living in fear isn't living. It's merely existing. That mindset is why we're losing what's left of freedom. Keep it up. Soon we'll have nothing but RV parks where we'll have to pay corporate America to pretend to camp. Real nice.
I have lived in Arizona for ten years now. I live off grid here so I understand extremes in nature. It's super tough and your experience looks so refreshing.
Yes because if you have little money you struggle financially and get no easy benefits but if your homeless or not from this country you get to camp wherever, get financial support and many other great benefits 😢🇺🇲❤️😎👍

I am glad Timmy has the 7.3...It is
almost bulletproof and hardly breaks a sweat...
Sending you my most positive vibes for your upcoming surgery.😊
I haven't been to Alaska since 2017. But we stayed a few times at Cabela's. Good luck with surgery.
Good luck with your surgery Timmy.
YOUR not alone...here in Canada they are making it hard on the community that resides in Vans...etc, cracking down on the right to park in once legal areas are becoming more and more obsolete!!! But in fairness....its the individuals who are NOT respectful of their garbage, noise ...etc....By Laws are growing!!!
The little guy in the travel trailers get bsed into paying high rates too😢
This is true a few people ruin things for everyone
@@queefisafunnywordhims such a victim him is 😢
Yep it’s happening all over.
Timmy, Wishing You the best with Your Surgery.Stay safe out there my friend.🙏🏻👍
Awesome content and life🤙🤟🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸
Your banana desert is called Banana's Foster in New Orleans!
Oh wow, I see freedom snatching has made its way to the last frontier as well. Then again, like you said it is Anchorage and "city life" which tends to regulate when you are allowed to take a crap.
whoa, time for y'all to watch You Are What You Eat, at least episode 3.
came across your channel not too long ago....binge watched your episodes on your attempt to get to the arctic ocean. definitely a fan! good luck with your surgery!
Oh dude, I've seen your truck set up at home Depot once in Anchorage. So sick to see it in person, and weird coincidence that I just ran into your channel lol
Good luck at the hospital 😮you'll be just fine mate 👍 🤠🙏🇬🇧 🇨🇦 🍁
Thank u Ian:)
You're not alone.....
Nice, it’s on at 17:00 uk time!
Thanks 👍😎👍
Very up beat, honest and intereting. Go with God and Jesus in your travels.

Can't wait for this video
Try bacon wrapped water chestnuts with a sweet bbq sauce for a glaze before 30mins in the oven! Divine.
I had the same surgery twice in 3 months, removing the packing at home was a painful experience
My mom had that years ago..Same for her.
Take pain meds an hour before packing removal. Have ice packs to either side of nose/cheek for am hour before removal. 15 minutes on/off.
Good luck. Hope no infection and you heal 1st time.
😅
Stay humble and stay blessed brother!!
Your truth didn't align with their agenda. It's sad that you got canned for doing your job. Hope you found something better.
Unfortunately they do go hand in hand. Private property will almost always kick you out now a days due to burglaries,
Burglaries are down across most of the US though
@@battlebornops
the homeless population is going to wage war soon.....because the numbers are climbing at insane levels!! I myself who used to be able to afford my own apartment alone can no longer afford to live alone.....i am renting a room in Washington state for almost 200 more than my own place 5 years ago....its sick!
Timmy,
I lived in a van in Anchorage for 2 years before deciding on Willow.
I didnt have any issues with where i parked ever.
But things have changed now,too bad too.
Ill have to try your recipe, seems easy.
Thanks, BigT
Good luck on your surgery Timmy! ❤😊
thank u!
Wishing you the best with your nasal/sinus procedure Tim--hope this restores free breathing and the awesomeness that is enjoying your olfactory sense to the fullest in so much of life! Thank you for your videos. Profoundly happy looking forward to those that will come. Be well, stay healthy. CH
I like your videos very well
Man if you ever need a place to park when your down south in South Carolina , u can park on my land anytime , I even have a small property on a small resivoir just below my main house , i camp there several times a yr an it’s not far from home , maybe 1000 ft but it’s nice and you don’t really think of home being so close being on the water front of the lake , sun rises an sun sets are beautiful as is snow around the shorelines when we get some , but yep ! U can camp on any of my places foe free Timmy ❤ the channel an truck house safely my friend
thanks:)
if u used plantains all youd need is the butter . it legite tastes like pancakes when cooked .
Seems the van life crackdown is pretty universal. So many places across Europe ive been living for the last 10 years are hugely cracking down with signs going up and fines being issued. It's getting so bad i'm actually considering buying a house!
I love watching your vids. When I am not working I binge watch your videos LoL. You rock brotha 🤙 stay safe ✌️
How did we get to the point where the government tells the people, that we can't stay on our own land? That land belongs to the people not the government.
You haven’t heard of laws? You think you own the land go camp in a national park!!
Or just don’t pay the taxes on the property you think you own!
That's not how it works, you'd know that if you went to high school.
Most of the time it is private companies kicking people out.
Please do not use this space for radical politics. We're here to have fun
Too bad really.
yup that's exactly what ruins it, it makes me so mad when I pass folks living like that because it ruins it for everyone and they don't have to live that way
YOu are not alone in those sentiments...BE respectful and Take in Carry out etc rules apply
Most the people here aren’t “van life” people, they are “homeless” and usually drug and or alcohol riddled.
La and the greater Bay area? Absoutlely... Chicago? Heck no, lived hear 26 years and never seen campers anywhere near the city or going to tourist spots like you do out west. We also have no where to park Rv's anywhere near the city and all of our payed parking goes to Dubai...
@@Whistler326normally the reason they live in campers. No self respect or respect for others.
Prayers for a successful surgery! May God watch over and guide your surgical team. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Those bacon thingies are the ultimate munchies snack
I just had a surgery to fix my nose/sinuses as well, it's totally worth it! Good luck bro🚛🏠
Samoans in AK...thats about as odd as it gets.
@@janejones5362 apparently they shoot it out with the Tongan gangs every once in a while
This kind of breaks my heart man, like im the blue collar type of guy and I would like living like this. It's the bums man; not homies like us. We're tidy asf; as long as parking is paid for, then who cares >:l
hope the surgery goes well
Pay taxes to upkeep the public areas, try to use public areas and local government says no.
We need to throw some tea in a harbor
The French had a marvelous mechanical contraption for solving these kinds of problems .
It's also green energy powered ( gravity ) and BOY , can this baby sequester some carbon !
Kadai Brothers!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Just curious why you didn't do the 350 with no extended cab and with the long bed. Could have more of a cabin thst way. Not criticizing just curious. I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks.
It has an 8fter.
@@jacobmcvay123 Both have changing AWD?
I think because it can change into AWD? or either it was just a better option lol
the bed is 8 ft whether it's a double or extended cab
So the long bed on the single cab is bigger than the longbed with an extended cab? That’s a new one on me.
Thank you for your time n video s. .😊
Nevermind the city,Life with 4x4truck house are made for wilderness not in the city to follow Red Yellow and Green traffic light and signs.Life in truck house meant to be wild where the sounds of nature's goes you also goes with no rules to be followed.❤❤❤❤
Another successful video premiere. I’d say you’re a winner by a nose in this one. Safe travels.❄️🤙
haha
Back when Ford used to build good trucks? :)
That’s kind of crazy you weren’t bothering anyone you weren’t by houses or anything. Sorry that happened!
Yes because if you have little money you struggle financially and get no easy benefits but if your homeless or not from this country you get to camp wherever, get financial support and many other great benefits 😢🇺🇲❤️😎👍
You should have the company that did those heating pads that you put on your steps and stuff at your house create one for the back of your truck cabin that you can run from either inside the cabin or inside the truck itself to warm that back patio.
